Any chance you guys could attach the list of games to the video? When I’m watching (or more accurately listening) I’m not always in a position to go to a shopping cart and when I can grab a cart I’m not always in an area I can just listen.

Took Kluster to the pub the other night. We placed all the magnets immediately and none of them attracted to each other.
It was at this point that we realised that beneath the wooden surface, the enormous cast iron base of the table was holding the magnets in place. 😂
“Just One” is a fantastic pub game which I never leave home without. It’s a deck of cards and a mini whiteboard (plus pen) per player. Fully co-op game where you take it in turns to be the guesser, this player chooses a number to designate a word off a card they can’t see but everyone else can. The other players then secretly write a 1 word clue to get the guesser to get the word, the catch is that if you’ve written the same as someone else that clue gets wiped out and the guesser doesn’t get to see it. This always leads to some hilarious in jokes and crazy clues that seem completely unrelated till the clue giver explains their weird logic
So happy to see the return of the lists! They've helped me get into board gaming and I'm going to be ordering Kluster asap

Edit: following up. Game stores in my region can’t carry Kluster, because drunk adults may eat magnets.
Maybe they think it will make them more attractive.
Great vid. Just a note for wearers of wind up / automatic watches.... Take it off before playing Kluster because you can easily magnetise your main spring and your watch will start running way too fast!

I got into board gaming during the pandemic thanks to this channel. I truly value NRB's opinion and lists more than any other channel or website.
I've just added a few games to my wishlist. Great suggestions (and production)!
For me, the ideal pub game that I always brought with me was *Hive: Pocket* (and I had a buddy that always had Coup on hand, so strongly agree on that one). It's the Chess-like game I actually enjoy. It's simple to learn, you don't have to worry about the tiles, and it barely takes up space. The idea is that each tile is a different insect with different movement rules and you're taking turns placing them out into a connected "hive" or moving a piece. The goal is to fully surround your opponent's queen bee (their own pieces count toward that) and they might get trapped since you can't break up the hive into multiple groups of tiles. Games can be super fast, too.
Coup is the one, none of my mates trust each other so every turn it's "I don't believe you have that!" 🤣
Seeing the magnets shift in Kluster is genuinely unnerving. I could totally see it being used as a component in a horror RPG just like Jenga is with Dread.
My house running gag in Coup is that everyone is a Duke in round 1. Seriously there's 3 copies of each card in the deck and I've had games where in the first round 4 people in a row each claimed to have a Duke.
That's every game of Coup, ever. Pretty sure it's an unwritten law that everyone is the Duke round 1.
I just bought Coup and I don’t think I’ve seen a truer statement.
LOVE seeing the lists come back!!! I adore BGC, but the lists, sketches, cosplay showcases and mini-documentaries have always made this channel extra special to me.
Also, VERY happy to see a variation of Liar's Dice making an appearance. That used to be a staple here in Mexico as well up until the mid-00's, when it started getting phased out in favour of Jenga (and the Card Game That Shall Not Be Named later on). It's always insane amounts of fun, even if you're not betting.

Games I have played many times at the pub Pass The Pigs, Games I have played now and again, Get Bit, Sushi Go Party, Undersea Adventure and Tiny Epic Galaxies. Various weights for various groups!
I know a way to use push it set to make portable crokinole with home rules. It is so fun, and it is a coffee house staple for me
Glad this series is back. Simple, concise overviews of the games that give you a good feel of what they’re about. Even though I’ve got a lot of games, it gives me ideas of games to round out my collection or to give as gifts. Hope to see more new ones to come.

Thank you for recommending Push It - it contains all the joy of Crokinole with none of the massive physical obstacles to owning it, and has become one of my all-time favorite games to play with friends.

There are many channels that do the same but this one is to me one that explains and shows best the rules and how good it is to play them.

Zombie Dice and Uno both get better and better with every IPA that goes down. Liar's Dice is fun, too, but only when drinking rum. With each shot, everyone's accent morphs more and more into a Hollywood pirate's accent until you're all singing the Pirate's of the Caribbean theme. Oh, the memories.

"Heads will Roll" great pub game. Have 2 bronze and 2 silver skulls, plus a shield and a treasure chest. Roll them like dice on the table and try and flick the shield to touch the chest for 1 point. But if you go through a pair of skulls get bonus points, 1 for bronze 2 for silver, and another flick. A bit of push your luck and Dexterity game.
When I was in a poker league, I brought Coup to play when eliminated waiting for the next game. The other poker players became obsessed with Coup and couldn't wait to play again after losing poker.
I can vouch for skull. Played it with family on vacation and they love it. It gets so much better after you have a few

Coup, Skull, and Cockroach Poker are all amazing and in my collection; excellent recommendations. Pairs is another excellent little pub game. Well worth a try.
Maybe it’s a personal thought, but I like the idea of champions of the wild in a pub.
A game that is more about argument and discussion than playing cards. Just enough rules to contain and start the conversation, and then it can go off.
I understand it’s already been on a list though.

Havent watched the video yet but perudo has to be on here! Countless hours, pints and laughs have been had playing that in our local! So much so it inspired the pub to provide its own games now!

We've played a game called Trophy Buck, it's literally the exact same game as Zombie dice but with deer instead of zombies its amazing
One of my favorite pub style games is Roll for It.
And I wasn't aware of Kluster, but I'll definitely have to check it out.
Just recently found this channel, loved the Thing play through. Just ordered Klusta, what a great game especially for lil ones to keep them entertained and not on an ipad

What about an asymmetric game for the pub
The designated driver as the DM or big bad that the drinking players have to combine their dwindling sense to beat.
I don’t drink, but I think it would be an interesting way to incorporate someone not drinking into a pub game

Roll For It and Toss Up are some of my favorite portable little games that would fit perfectly into this category.

Strike is a decent pub game. Some fun dice striking. I would add the abstract Push Fight too. An easy going abstract.

I'm thrilled the Collection Starter is back; as much as I enjoy the at-the-table stuff on this channel, I really love the stuff like this, Masterpieces, Explained and the history ones.
My wallet hates Collection Starter, though. Now that I know it exists, I *need* a copy of Kluster.

Fandooble is a great pub game. 3 dice, dragons, wizards, thieves and knights all battle it out to win you gold. All in a pocket sizes pouch.
Rhino Hero works well on a small table. Dexterity game + beer = fun
All Tiny Epic board games are pretty fun to do in a pub / bar, also 51st state, Ascension, Dice Forge, Gloom, Dungeons & Dragons: Dungeon Command, smash up.. We even done Memoir '44 a few times, people just sit down with us and have a laugh while we playing
The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Munchausen
It's a competitive story-telling game specifically meant to be played in a pub. The winner even buys a round of drinks!

I was looking forward to a new collection starter vid!
Try Left Centre Right- v small, just 3 specialist dice and some tokens. Can come in a small tin. You can make your own rules like first out gets next round, or take a drink on certain rolls. Plus people can come back in and never quite be out completely. As an aside, kids can also easily pick this one up easily so can be a restaurant\pub game

I need to try that Skull game
A few Oink games a great for the pub. Deep Sea Adventure, Fake Artist Goes to New York, and Insider. Some other favorites would be Skull King, Scout, Las Vegas dice game.
Of course, there's always Red Dragon Inn, which is a drinking game even if you aren't drinking, because the premise is a group of heroes (and sometimes villains) drinking at the pub in the evening after their adventure/battle.
Skull is my personal number 1 pub game and, no Love Letter? But I think I'll have to give this Kingless game a go! I usually don't play these "take that"/"screw your friends" style of games like Munchkin or Unstable Unicorns because the game goes on for too long and the winner isn't who played better, but who was fortunate enough to make the winning play without being stopped. But having two ways to win and a clock on the playtime might muddle things up enough that there's genuine strategy here. And the theme is just superb.

Watched this earlier. Noticed I had no dexterity games in my collection so tried to find _Push It_ . Not in stock anywhere so ordered my own wooden discs to make my own version. Going to name it _Rhona_ after the great Olympian. A fitting tribute to a wonderful athlete...
It was a toss up between calling it that and _Palma Fuera_ which translates to "Palm Off" in Spanish. "Palm of" translates to "Palma De". Brian De Palma directed Scarface. *Push it* to the limit. Was too fruity though and the validation of someone perhaps reading this was enough.

What a great list and well crafted video about it. Except, did you check roachpoker cards against liquid? They take to it like.. well like roaches! One tiny drop and they swell up and are ruined, because they're reckognizable after that. I lost a toad from that. Bye, Toady, we had a good run! But yes, gamewise what tremendous fun and excitement!

I can see see dexterity games may be tricky to film for BGC moving round table etc but would love to see the group play Kluster, maybe even drunk Kluster?
