This is the duo I didn't know I needed. This was so nostalgic to watch since I remember doing my makeup to Michelle's videos after a morning doing Cassie's workouts back in the early days.
My childhood icons! Literally crying rn! Thank you both for being so open about your journeys- the good, the bad, and the ugly! This will help so many people like myself who always have self doubts about reaching their full potential and comparing constantly to others. Thank youuuuu!!! ♥
@@mrazangel92 it was something like bubz did a video that insulted a bunch of people in the beauty community. Bubz has always been isolated from the TH-cam community. Hearsay though, wasn’t following the drama, i think there a Reddit threads talking about the drama.
12:06 yes Michelle, you are so right, globally, we have not recovered from 2008 financial impact... Yet many ppl are oblivious! Btw, so so so happy to see 2 OG TH-camrs together! both are few of my faves since early days! Such a blissful moment for me to watch you both talk!
You two seemed to really connect with each other this podcast! Glad to see my favorite OG Vietnamese creators come together and share their experiences :D Would be fun to see you work together more in the future
I love this! It's so raw and emotional and full of truth. I loved hearing the truth about how not everyone can be an entrepreneur because you have to REALLY enjoy doing it. Growing up and until now I watch my dad work his butt off for his company he started from the ground up and it stresses me out just watching him have to maneuver things around and have to do everything. It's not easy, but people who are made for it sure make it look easy! Thank you for sharing the video with us, Michelle!
This was a great podcast episode, thank you both for sharing and being so vulnerable! This episode really rang true to Michelle's point of wanting to showcase content creators as more than just a brand... loved the very human and relational approach ❤
Cassey!! You have been with me through ups and downs with my body positivity journey. I still have your book! Not quite where I want to be mentally or physically, but you were there when I used to do 3 hours of Blogilates HIIT videos on top of two dog runs per DAY. I remember standing up after one workout and immediately passing out and hitting my head on a glass table. This wasn't your fault. I couldn't figure out what I later learned is gender dysphoria. As I'm still here, years later, healthier and 25 pounds heavier (at 95 lbs), I still have trouble finding the lines the cross within gender. I stopped working out because I didn't/don't know what to do to best feel like myself. And makeup was the same thing! Michelle was another huge inspiration. I love playing with glam or costume makeup and even subtle or pops of color. But sometimes, I just can't do it because I feel like I'm putting on a face that doesn't match my heart. I'm still finding the barriers between gender dysphoria, eating disorders, and mental/emotional safety. Please know that you were both such inspirations to me through my teens and 20s, and I appreciate every video and every experimental venture you both did. Thank you!
Yeah Casey! I buy pop flex because of YOU! Your amazing mind, designs, intentions, and creativity! You don’t have to worry about the dupes. You’re a DESIGNER. They can copy but they’ll never be you and your brand. Love you!!
The part about people commenting to get attention, it's so true! I noticed that the moment people would go back to their comment, edit, and say " omg thank you for all the likes everyone". Bro, it's just a comment and people are just agreeing with you or whatever. It's ridiculous.
I love you Michelle but I wish you'd let your guest speak more. I was really looking forward to her but I felt like you were dominanting the conversation a bit too much and interrupting her a lot. Genuinely don't mean it in a bad way
I also agree I mean this as constructive feedback and not in a negative way. Michelle, I’ve noticed that you often jump in before your guests have fully finished their thoughts. You tend to share your own experiences and beliefs, then ask a question without giving them the chance to complete what they were initially saying. While I do appreciate hearing your perspective, it would be great if the guests could finish their points fully before the conversation shifts. I love the guests your putting on!
Listening at work.. I always like to listen at work on the weekends cause I feel better and like to relax as I do orders... have a few to catch up on too
I'm sad Cassey stoped making fitness videos. She was my go to from that call me maybe video yeaaaars ago. But I understand ... It must be tiring hearing comments about your body all the time. You never know what that would trigger int he other person, that's why we don't have to comment on ppl's body's not on the internet nor in real life. Loved this video ! lots of love!
I really liked your point about the being weak willed. I think the constant succumbing to societies standards all for the sake of receiving love shows an easily swayed person, and it takes strength to not fall for such scams like being underweight to look "healthy" (which isn't). I've never had a thigh gap, and while I struggle with my weight, I've accepted I'll likely never look "thin"
I find that Michelle talks more than listen to the guests 😭 eg at 7:00. Would want to hear the guest talk more but she ends up going on tangents, done it previously in her other episodes as well
As someone who grew up watching both of you in the early days of TH-cam, this collab is everything! I also wanted to add that I agree with Michelle about 9/11 totally defining our generation. I feel like the Palestinian genocide is for this generation what 9/11 was for us - just so defining! I love you both so much and will probably leave another comment when I’m done the video 😂 but I just wanted to throw this in here in case I forget (I also have the worst memory, like both of you 😂) ❤
I love seeing these women together!! Two of my icons for real. I think I was introduced to Blogilates my senior year of high school - I watched lots of Bubzbeauty and she was following Cassie's videos. I remember my first workout - I had never heard of pilates and it kicked my BOOTIE and I was sore for days but I LOVED IT. Seeing how this industry and people treat these creators breaks my heart. I never knew how bad it was until listening to these. I remember a whole back Cassie posting a video about her body and molding it to fit 'standards'. I was always drawn to Cassie because she was so cheerful and real, but this made me realize wow, she's just like me. She's human. I'm so happy you ladies are finding happiness and are still going. The world needs you and we love you. 💜😊
I originally thought Blogilates was a sweet journalist as I found her through her Victoria Secret workouts. I thought she had investigated the workouts and was showing us lol.
TBH watching her videos encouraged my eating disorder, she taught me how to calorie count on an app and I got obsessed. It’s not that she intended to do that, but it did happen.
She’s not responsible for your genetic propensity for an eating disorder, any more than bodybuilding channels would be for explaining how to reduce calories and carbohydrates in a cutting phase.
She still is after supporting israel and not speaking up about palestine but trying to cater to hijabi audience with her clothing ... like what? I dont care if you die but you can wear my clothes coz it covers you?????
Thank you for having me on Michelle! I really enjoyed our conversation and hope we have many more together ❤
Grateful for you! 💕
Okay, I didn’t expect two iconic duos!! 😍😍
Ikr!!!!!!
Two? What am I missing here? I only see one duo 😅
Ai me neither 🥹😍🫶🏼
Cassey is still my preferred fitness YTuber, when I need a simple video to guide me on working out, I only think of blogilates. Thank you Cassey!

Aww Cassy is the best ✨ She is an inspiration
Oh wow, Casey Ho and Michelle Phan in the same video 😮 💕 this is nostalgic and informative, thank you 💕 With love from Thailand x
Day 3947483 of asking Michelle to bring BubzBeauty to the podcast❤❤❤❤❤
They don’t get along. There was a huge drama.
@@ambersiyinwhat was the drama??

The way she was able to graciously and seamlessly blend her two passions!! Inspiring

These are 2 youtubers I've been following the longest. I'm so happy to see their journeys :)
I think this is my favorite episode of the podcast so far ❤So inspiring!

"you can't dupe a community" ugh so profound! I love you Cassey!
This has made my day! Love you both ❤❤❤
THE PODCAST I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR
What an amazing conversation! The favorite one so far! ❤
Really enjoyed the conversation between you both, very insightful.
Wow, used to watch her videos when I was dorming in college with my roommates

Cassie is so well spoken! I can listen to her speak all day 😍
The tv being on your retina joke was too good 😂

Casey, The BEST is yet to come! The power of the tongue is real!♥️♥️
What a treat! Enjoyable and I learned a lot.
I wish this podcast was longer, Casey is so wise ❤
Omg! I never expected that a day would come where the two of you, who I've been following since 2010, would sit and chit chat. 😭

The OGs!!! 😍
