This is the 3rd time I've watched this video because it reminds me of all the places we went to during our trip to San Miguel. We took all your recommendations and loved them all.❤
Hi Guys, awesome job covering this beautiful city I have heard so much about. Thank you for pointing camera mostly to the city and streets, shops, culture, food. Many other videos I have watched from others mostly point camera at themselves while walking around; By not doing this, you stand out. Love the humor too!
This country is very attractive, every time I watch your videos I want to visit it so much, a lot of culture, beautiful colors, beautiful cooking recipes and good weather, thank you so much for this beautiful share ;-)
You guys make the best Mexico travel videos and I am with you guys about the food! Every time I go to Mexico the food is so good and with bakeries on every block that I have to watch gaining weight even though I average 5 to 7 miles of walking everyday and go to local gyms. One of my favorite things I did in SMA that you didn't cover was going to the hot springs just out of town and my favorite was La Gruta Spa. I also loved hanging out at Parque Benito Juarez. SMA is a wonderful and beautiful place, no wonder so many expats live there!
Hey Mike! The panaderías get us every time! Haha they lure you in with the smell! Oh nice! We had just gone to some in Ajijic so skipped those. If we were there longer would have headed to them, sounds lovely!
Oh my goodness! What a fantastic video! The ziplining totally looked like a rush! My husband first went zipping in Mazatlan, many years ago, pre kids, then when we had children, our oldest was 7 and got to do a kids zip line in Mazatlan. And that would be the beginning of the zipline saga of our home zipline! We have 2 acres of property, so plenty of room for our own zip line, that both kids, now much older totally loved having! And yes, all completely safe. Thanks for sharing! Look forward to your next adventure! Take care! Oh and we say pop here in BC Canada! :)
Haha hi Diana! I love it - pop! As Adam would say Michigan is basically Canada so it makes sense we have similarities lol. We also had a Zipline growing up but it was just a bit off the ground, but still a lot of fun for us kids! Thanks so much for watching and being here to experience this with us!
This is Paul Oaxaca. You did a great video of San Miguel de Allende. As always you guys made me smile. I did a short zipline once on a river rafting trip in Costa Rica where we lived for 12 years. We went to San Miguel quite a few years ago for 3 days and had a good time. It was the most beautiful city I've ever seen. A friend who lived in Oaxaca, and then moved to San Miguel, and then back to Oaxaca said Oaxaca was grittier, but with more mountains and wider sidewalks. So what do you think.?
That breakfast looked AWESOME ! My gosh, literally now starving 🤤 OK I will be going to that restaurant and the zip lines thanks to you guys. Another well produced video on every level. 🔥🙏
Just wanted to let you guys know that your videos are very helpful. We just came back from San Miguel de Allende and had a great time! We did the hot air balloon and it was amazing! Also if staying at an airbnb during summer, bring bug spray coz man!! we got eaten! but San Miguel is AMAZING!!!! oh and expensive. so plan where to eat unless you don't have a budget.
@@TheCountryCollectors arrive Friday. I’ve got a driver lined up to take me directly to my Airbnb in the San Antonio area. Saying all of April. Hope I don’t get bored. I’m learning a month each place is a little long but I already committed. Glad there’s a library with books in English! 😊
You finally visited one of our favorite places in Mexico. We stayed there for 2.5 months and would go back in a heartbeat. So much to explore, charming nooks and crannies everywhere, and a great vibe. Everything from fancy dining to great local options, you can find it. Can't forget the awesome weather. We stayed in Guadalupe and loved it. You were literally hanging out a block from where we stayed. It looks like some of the murals have changed since we were there. We hiked that canyon you ziplined over in search of the waterfall. Unfortunately, it wasn't much more than a trickle when we found it, but a great experience nonetheless. Thanks for sharing your experience... You brought us back and made us smile. Unfortunately, I don't think we will get back there before we exit Mexico in another month. Will be heading to Southeast Asia and will probably be there for a while. Safe travels!
Oh how awesome! Yes the city really had it all, and with a laidback vibe like you said! Simply amazing. Glad we could bring back some memories! Ahh SEA! We miss Asia so much! Can’t wait to get back there ourselves. Thank you so much for watching and for your support! Safe travels!
A very great small city in the State of Guanajuato! and also with a very nice ancient European style! therefore it's no surprise that it is one of the best most preferred places for many USA tourists! and not just for visiting but even to live there!👍
I found you video by accident while searching youtube for San Miguel for day of the dead and found it super useful. My wife and I even went to Outside cage and even had the same waiter, Ernesto, and eat the same food. Super good. I watched your chiapas mexico and we might go there next year for day of the dead
From one Heidi to another (and Adam too of course), I always like watching you, because you are creative, insightful and respectful. Plus I really like Mexican content :)
We went to SMA 3 years ago and fell in love with what we call the "Florence of Mexico". Covid has delayed our return visit but in two days we arrive again for 6 weeks, and will search out the perfect place for us for future 8-12 week visits. If you have not been, GO. We are from Pentwater, Michigan too! Where in Michigan are you two from if you don't mind sharing. There is a vibrant expat music scene there as well as the opportunity to take art classes. The street food is second to none and we've been around this world. Find the lady who sells food from her stairway para llevar with a small restaurant upstairs.
I wish I had seen this video just a week earlier. I saw and did lots that was on the video but not all. I think I needed another week or two....or maybe make San Miguel de allende home. Thank you for all that you share. Save travels
Hey Sandra! There’s so much to discover there. We just had a week too! Haha yes 🙌 we can see why people went there and never left! Thanks for watching.

Great video I would’ve never thought they had zip line in San Miguel especially after seeing all of the retired people there lol

PS my first zip line was the highest in the world at Arenal Volcan in Costa Rica. Beautiful but I literally thought my heart would stop! Too much adrenaline for me…
Oh wow! That’s ínstense! Sort of like my first bungee jump in South Africa 🇿🇦- tallest one in the world from a commercial bridge. I was free falling so long it scared the crap out of me, I was like when is this line going to snap me back!!

Another destination to put on the bucket list and yet another great video! Adam, I’m with you. That woman’s portrait with the flowers for hair is my favorite too. And btw, we say “pop” in Chicago too. Maybe it’s a Midwestern thing, lol.

In homage to Adam, I made chilaquilles for breakfast with salsa verde and salsa roja as the wait staff in a previous video recommended. So good!

When you say El Corazon...I felt like I should sit up straight, shoulders back, and do a dance...
Haha do it!! Dancing 💃 is good for the soul!
