This is always how I will think of Nanci. Hair pulled back in a pony tail, totally rad sunglasses, and a Taylor six string being played to perfection, and that smile. Hmmm, I was crushing on her so hard that it hurt.
I've loved her for years, but never knew she had this kind of clownish, self-deprecating sense of humor! It's basically Nanci Griffith going around town annoying random people by singing joyfully in their ears. LOL (Lucky actors!)
This Heart...Nanci. "This heart was stranded in the winter Was stuck out in a blizzard in its summer clothes" What a writing, what a fantasy! This song, this video and how Nanci sings express vitality, joy, love for people, love for life in every moment! Love Nanci
One of my favorite nanci Griffith songs, but then again, she has so many great songs to choose from. 8 or ten albums and there is only one or two that I don't like. How many artists can you say that about?
Always loved this song! Takes me back to a time that was troubled, but the song was an escape from it all! I never saw this video before... Very cute, and funny! Thanks for posting this!
b@@japark85 No that's not it. Smaller band or maybe even a capella. I think it was closer to the time that the song came out. She was dressed in lighter color, and maybe even the Stratocaster was white. It was the only number she did with the Strat.
RIP Nanci - the world will enjoy the beautiful music you’ve created in your lifetime!
Rest well, Nanci. I’m just so sad.
that line
"Stuck out in a blizzard in its summer clothes" just grabbed me when I first heard this song.
RIP Nancy Griffith. You are a treasure. 🙏
This song was in the movie "Milk Money" with Melanie Griffith and Ed Harris
I can't really say I have a favorite Nancy song, but this one always makes me smile!

How is it I've never seen this??? Adorable!
Love you Nanci!

I bought this album because of this song, but the whole album is good.
This Heart always reminds me of " You Can Call Me Al"-P. Simon.

One of my favorite Nanci songs - she could have my heart anytime she wants it.
How did I ever miss you, you are wonderful, Ms Nanci. I can't get enough of you...

Miss Nanci ❤
WOW! What a video! I did not even know that Nanci was also recording video clips. This is just hilarious. Thank you so much for posting.
Love the video, nice to see her in one......
This sounds like it actually has more tracks added to the take than on my 45 rpm version! Love it!
Beautiful song.
Happy Birthday Nanci!
She is so fucking pretty!
I saw her live in The Cambridge Corn Exchange, sometime in the late 1980’s.
I just hope her final days were without pain or sadness..You knew she was such a decent person as well as being enormously talented.
A great video of a great song. So much personality. BTW: credit to Mark Knopfler on guitar.
Wish I could find the TV show I saw back in the day. Nanci was doing a live concert with a flat-top, then pulled out a Stratocaster to do This Heart.

I see on YouTbe that inSep '94 on Letterman, she yelled "Stratocaster debut". Not sure if that's a clue that the stuff I saw on TV was after Sep 1994.
Hey great vid of a great artist. Thanks for sending it my Anne :o) -Ron
I've always said she should have done more videos.
This must be the goofiest video she ever made, Don't care -- even goofy, she's great! Love this song.
She must have been very young when this song came out? so cute!

How cute is she??
So much, so much!
there are no words!
Irresistibly. I couldn't have been any of those actors - I'd blush with her singing in my face like that!
With the rhythm section from a little known Irish band called U2. . . Adam Clayton & Larry Mullens, Jr.
Love this video ... song's not bad either!!
Yeah, until you realize that the movie this song was made for is very, very, very uncomfortable
what movie was it made for?
pingpong wigwom Milk Money, a 1990s family flick about 3 boys who befriends a prostitute
the Don of Creativity
lol yeah i just watched it thats how i found this song. i dont understand why that guy wanted to date a hooker.
Don't it make you feel good!
Amazing video and pretty song !
Brilliant !

Thanks for share AnneHeartMusic !
I'm here because of the 1994 movie Milk Money.
G O L D
Some of the music cues in this remind me of The Vaccines for some reason..
*They came much later than this song though.
What year was this please?
Ahhh the 90s
❤️
MILK MONEY!!!...😇
Love that movie.
@@quentinkaasa47 me too love it since I was 5 years old I still got the VHS tape and ordered it on DVD a couple years ago

Let me just say: Milk Money was a terrible movie and it didn’t deserve a song like this.
RIP Nancy
Milk money brought me here lol
How absolutely pathetic.
The Nostalgia Critic review of that film brought me here 😂

RIP to the only good thing about Milk Money
How come the minorities "shh"ed her and moved away from her singing?
Is that Roger Federer at 1:31? LOL
Great video....embarrassing LA smog
Every time I see this video, I’m always worried that she’s going to step in a hypodermic needle at the end.
