As per usual, I'm watching this on tape delay. Can't wait for you to get to Eiffel Tower - absolutely one of my favourite meals and experiences in Las Vegas. April makes an epic pumpkin cheesecake at Xmas time, and same. We freeze most of it in slices and eat it all year. My uncle and his wife have a RV spot in Lake Havasu, so we've met up with them in the Laughlin area. My best memory though was visiting Oatman and petting the burros 😊 Happy the Patreon is back! Love you both ❤️
My late husband and I would stay in Laughlin during our annual anniversary weekend and we always drove the 90 miles to have a special dinner at The Bootlegger, our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas.
This made my day! Just watched it and was literally laughing at Dales pouting at the end! There is a new tiki bar at the Uncommons! I just saw the reel today. It looks great! What a cute picture of Mikey at Disneyland!!
That's a good suggestion, thank you...I actually went on the web and looked that up when I saw this, and you can in fact find that info online. But...we will surely mention no resort fee and free parking whenever we encounter it!

I enjoyed the Hacienda, it was budget friendly for travelers. And i so miss Nevada Landing. I took my Dad to Dixie College REUNION in St George for 5 years, and to visit my aunt, uncles and cousins for many many years. Nevada Landing was our first stop. Leaving Pasadena at 4am, potty, breakfast and 5cent slots are a memory I will never forget with my dad. And I have never seen him move so fast trying to scoop 39 bucks of nickles. I miss him. He has been gone 25 years now. Love the show guys. My Son and his family is in Sumerlin off at Far West on the 215... and head west 3 or so miles. Red Rock was highly visible before more gated communities were made. ..well still in construction. And my maiden name is Leavitt. A huge name in Vegas and Utah!

It's a shame that Dale doesn't seem to be able to walk around much and that he has a problem with heights. On an average day in Vegas (when I'm at my place for a couple of weeks at a time during pool season and have plenty of time to do whatever I want), I usually walk somewhere around seven to nine miles per day. And if it's one of those weird visits where I am only in town for less than a week during the cold weather months (just to make sure nobody has broken into my house while I've been gone) and there are a ton of new restaurants, attractions, or even brand new casinos (like Fontainebleau and Durango last December) that I want to check out in a compressed amount of time, I am sometimes hovering around 18-20 miles of walking per day. I really enjoy being move around the Strip or from casino to casino without having to repark my car, using all of the passageways and efficient methods from getting place to place that I have learned over the years. While I have no health issues and am still fully mobile, I am going to take advantage of it. I know that there will eventually be a time that walking so much won't be easy for me.
Hey there, this is Paula - yeah his hips are bothering him these days, but he is doing his best to fight it. Getting old sucks! But, yes, you are so right, and so many others say the same thing: that coming to Las Vegas allows them to log tens of thousands of steps, lots of miles, burn lots of calories, and as a side benefit, see lots of cool stuff!

@@DaleMcKenzie I guess for some it's normal but for me after growing up in a home where my parents were always arguing over something I did all I could to avoid problems in my family. After I turned 18 my WWII vet Dad who no one ever told him what to do started to argue with my mother again one day. I stood up in front of him and told him he had trained me to fight and that if he ever raised his voice to my mother again I would knock him out he said nothing and walked away. My mother said later he never did it again even after I left and they had the best years of their life because of me. My three siblings had all moved out as soon as they could just to run away from him but he had trained me to stand my ground so when I was a man that's what I did.
