I have been a part of a climate change movement since I started my working life. I was impassioned by BBC Learning English when I was little, and I wanted to change the ballgame. My parents had compassion for us younger generations, and my father said, "What a mess we have left for our children!"

My friend is kind, he had a strong compassion with the poor. He has seen many people suffering from poverty. There for, he joined the local charity movement to help them. He and his associates want to change the ball game, help these people to have a better life. Their activities and enthusiasm inspired people, make them more impassioned about doing kind work. What a good man!

Wow, this is exactly why I sometimes feel a bit stressed studying English through the news. In order to learn English, there's a lot of vocabulary I need to know, not just about the climate but also about world affairs, poverty, and all sorts of social issues. Yet, the more I watch the news or read news articles, the more often I find myself feeling sad. I really wish the world was filled with only cheerful news (especially to help me learn English).

When you have zero real problems in your life you could get “eco anxiety”, it will gone after any real problem when you actually get real things to care. For example when your city is bombed by ballistic missiles, belive me, “eco anxiety” will be the last thing you will think about.

I checked Cambridge Dictionary, and in this context, 'ballgame' needs to be written as one word to avoid confusion with the general meaning of 'ball game', which refers to 'any game that is played with a ball'. Am I right?

    Thanks BBC
    Here is my summary:
Today, if we switch on TV or read a newspaper, we are bombarded by bad news about the environment. Climate change not only negatively affects the earth's health but also humans' physical and mental health. A growing number of people around the world are experiencing something called eco-anxiety, involving feelings of grief, fear, guilt, and hopelessness about the future of the planet.
According to Judy Ling Wong, a veteran environmentalist, she feels tremendous compassion for young people, who have suffered from the environmental consequences from the previous and current generations. However, Judy is also optimistic about science since we have advanced more accurate technology to combat climate change. Basically, science has changed the ball game. Moreover, knowing what to help the planet actually impassioned the young, to feel strongly motivated to take action.
More about Judy Ling Wong, encourages young people to join environmental movements and the green workforce, contributing to the sustainable development of the world. This allows them to protect the environment for their entire working life.

I’m from Morocco. I have the feeling of anxiety when it comes to not writing anything to my friends or to myself when I start talking about what I had been going through. But I keep finding out that all those issues come from negative thoughts that… you know, we already know where it comes since both of us are Muslims.
But worry not, you can go through out of any problems. Just keep the intention for yourself, otherwise, if u lose it, you won’t go ahead.
