    Marilyn has got to be the friendliest person that I have met by far on line. She has gone far and beyond in helping me with my sewing projects. I highly recommend her videos as I have only watched two, but has gained such valuable information. Thanks Marilyn for your patience and your time and understanding in helping beginners learn how to digitize. Your videos are so easy to understand. Thank you!

    If you accidentally click on the background after you put the picture up all you have to do to be able to resize your picture is click on the image tab & click modify image right next to the folder on the left hand side of the toolbar.

    Hello, I see this is an older video but I have been asking a question that no one seems to be able to answer. Perhaps you can help. Do you know if the PE Design upgrade can be used with PE Design Plus 2? Some say yes. Others say it can only be used as an upgrade for PE design 6-11. Thank you.

    Hello, Marilyn Lee I have a question about the digitizing software in this video. I have PE- Design Plus Software The CD that came with the software says it was manufactured in 2011. I bought for my Brother Sewing and Embroidery Machine. My software looks exactly like yours here on the screen but just want to know if its the same out not. Because its says PE-Design Next... Please get back with me! I will check back with you from time to time to see if you have answered my question. Thanks, Fran

      +Frances Chase ...If it is PE-Design Next then it is the same as mine. There is only one PE-Design Next. The newest version is just called PE-Design 10. PE-Design Next was upgraded a few times so now it is PE-Design Next version 9.3. You can upgrade yours if you haven't already for free.

    Can anyone be so kind to give me step-by-step directions on how to decrease density on an image one I decreased the image size? I know to hold the control button down but the stitches are still too dense. TIA

    • @MarilynLeefabricthreadartist
      @MarilynLeefabricthreadartist  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Bonnie Alder .Is this a design that you have digitized or one that you purchased? It also depends on how much you are going to decrease it. A lot of times when you decrease a design a lot the program does not reduce the stitches as you would expect and it won't be possible and still have a design that is usable. If it is a design that you have digitized or are digitizing you can change the density of each color in the attributes window. Select the color in the sewing order box and then you will be able to go into the attributes and change the density...........I hope this helps a little.

    I too am like you, I know how to sew and embroidery but I want to learn to digitize and who ever I ask they offer no suggestions. I am an artist and would love to embroider my designs. And also fix emb designs I purchase from etsy that stitch out horrible, and I have ruined so many shirts because of this. Can you help us first with digitizing language and steps I learn by watching? Thank you so much.

    I just paid a company to digitize something for me. It is large and they have some characters grouped. How do I ungroup them. I have asked them and have not received a reply. Thanks much.

      Highlight your area. In edit, convert to stitches. Now you can edit it by changing from grouped to ungrouped.
