Great tip at the very end worth keeping with the video. And all of your videos are jampacked all the way through with good information thanks for making them
Kay - vector files like WMF and SVG will automatically convert to stitches when they are imported. You can import them from the Home tab or from the Design window. There is a good explanation of importing Vector files on pages 105 and 106 of the PDF manual. You will notice on page 106 that you have the option of importing the artwork from Design Center as Stitches or Outlines. You can edit the outline files.
Question: Very often in my designs, I lose detail in lines like you lost the whiskers in yours. Is there anyway to manually get those little lines back? Sometimes ill be missing little lines or ill have small “blank/white gaps”
Hi Terry, thank you so much for this video. I have a question, I noticed this design still had more than one color. what if I just want to stich it in black and don't loose any of the details? If I eliminate more colours, some of the details dissapear. thanks!
You can stitch your design in a singular color or go back and select all sections when you choose Set and link them together to be one stitch type and color.
I keep coming back to your tutorials to follow along when I am using this program. Thank you so much! You have helped me more than you'll ever know.

Great easy to follow tutorial for a total beginner like me - thank you.
Would this be the same to digitize a handwritten note? What do you recommend to write the note with?
How do you convert it to stitch?
Hi, can you please tell me the name of the website you are using those images?
Thanks for the videos.
Terry....is this the same technique you would use with a SVG file?

It really depends on the quality of the artwork. A vector file like SVG and FCM will always be better than a raster image.
