This is educational my guy.
My dad used to rock this style back in the 90's and basically what he did was do Step 1, where you bend it from the sides. Then, you get your forearm and place it under the brim while using your other hand to curve the brim to the shape of your forearm. This works great too

The cup method looks so fire, because once you wear it, it contours to the shape of ur head. I would always recommend over curving a hat because it uncurves as you wear it

Great content!! The rubber works. I do not think you need to hair spray on it as this is a plastic brim.
The stickers on the hat though!!!! Lowkey I got some hats that I kept the stickers on for so long I can never take them off because if I do there'd be a huge sticker imprint since the hat has faded over the years LOL

Another quick trick I learned from a local hat store was to use a steamer. Set the hat on it for 5 minutes to warm the brim and then you can shape it to your liking. But make sure you put in the effort to curve everything properly or else you get the house. But instead of overnight you could have a perfect brim in 10 minutes
You didn't leave links on suggested hairsprays. I've always heard to use ironing starch, are there pros/cons?
Don't hate on the cup method hahahaha It is actually works great to shape caps for those of us with smaller/slimmer faces . I tried the rubber band and the cap brim still looked pretty wide on my face. I did the cup and loved the result.
when i curve my bill it doesn’t stay curved overtime it starts to flatten back out, do i need to go up a hate size? cause it fits different once it’s curved
Ay, I saw this on Richie's IG stories a while back! I didn't have those thick rubber bands, but the small thin ones did the trick

I like to use a steamer on the brim before shaping it. Makes it easier to bend before rubber banding it
Boi you’re supposed to use spray starch to lock in the curve. It’s an old snapback hack from back in 2010 💯

I ain’t never seen someone spray the shit on there 😂😂😂 what could that possibly do to improve the hats shape? You can use any canned cylinder curve, it’s supposed to be supporting the brim underneath while the rubber bands are stretched over

We used a baseball, rubber band and hairspray. Sill do the baseball, rubber band trick, but I don’t spray no more so it relaxes some.

Something I love to do with a fitted is I’ll warm up the brim with a hairdryer then manually curve, it just makes the brim much softer and it only takes like 5 mins or so
