Been a gravity filter guy for years. Just switched to the pen and Nalgene’s as my only option because I don’t have to worry about tubes and bags… and I lost an extra 1lb or more off my water system. No worrying about freezing or filters getting clogged up. Fast and easy.
Ehhh….how is different than a bottle with a filter? And, it’s a bit more expensive. I just don’t see it…but I’m glad it works for you and have heard good things. Best of luck this year!
@@HuntDetail it’s extremely fast and you can fill up your bladder, Nalgene bottle & everyone else’s that’s with you in no time at all and it removes viruses too.
I run the cnoc 2L bag for dirty water with the platypus filter, paired with the steripen ultralight. I carry a GSI microlite 1000 for my water on the go. Auquamira in case of an emergency, and i have a 3L and 4L HydraPaks bags if i need extra water storage.
