I like to wear cargo pants and stuff one side with gloves and the other side with the smallest trash bags to save some space on the cart
good tip!
Awesome video - thanks! Watching to get ideas for cleaning my house.
Thanks for the feedback! We're happy you found the video helpful.
Thanks! Watching this to get ideas for my own cleaning cart at home.
Perfect! Glad that we could help!
Auto detail companies make nice bottle holders for spray bottles. Can be mounted to side of cart etc
Just starting my janitorial journey at 23 thank you for the help
Congrats on your journey! We wish you all the best and great success.

The way the cleaning bottles are set up. I'm going to reorganize my public Area cart, at the moment it's a hot mess.

Thanks a lot for showing how to mount the lobby pan on the side 🙄
So here's my problem. I hate the bag portion of the cart. If you fill it too much you rip the trash bag on the hooks when pulling it out. I prefer a brute because it's easy to maneuver and I can fit much more trash. Then there's the problem of the vacuum. I'm either struggling trying to push a cart, a brute, and a vacuum around all at once or I'm doubling back. First brute for trash, then cart for cleaning. Then vacuum.
Is there any such thing as a cart that can hold not only your mop bucket but also a vacuum and one whose trash bag is larger?
We totally agree with the rolling barrel holding more. In case you missed it, here is a link to a video where we show how we set up a rolling barrel for both trash collection and cleaning. th-cam.com/video/YP6d_oBZwIU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aOPJENDfU_PwRBIq Vacuuming comes last in our task list, (our training cards are available on the website listed on our channel) and that is how we get away with not carrying the vacuum around with us while cleaning and trash removal. Hope this helps! Thanks for commenting!
Thoughts on using a garbage can on the front instead of a mop? I usually use a mop bucket on the front but I’ve a seen a lot of people use a can.
Great question! We believe in working efficiently and effectively throughout a space. If the garbage can in front saves time then it may be worth considering. Our system and setup is based on years of trial and error, we teach our business owners this set up because we know it works. Thanks for reaching out!
@@OctoCleanMedia I’ve tried both ways and I usually keep my mop on the front as well, but I keep my paper towels in the yellow bag and roll a larger garbage can along side me that way I can roll the can to the trash instead of walking each trash can to my cart. I work in a school though. I also don’t really like fighting the mop bucket over bumps etc.
@@kylesalmon31 Excellent! Thank you for sharing. It sounds like for a school, that is the best set up.
@@kylesalmon31 Lots of trash at schools for sure. A vacuum can also sit on the open mop area.
@@LKN4WAR I have very little to vacuum. I suppose I could just put my dust mop there.
Question: s there a specific size limit rule that dictates when you need to set up a cart? I'm about to begin a new contract for a office space of approximately 4600 sq ft and I'm unsure whether to simply use a tote or set up a cart/bin with wheels.
That’s an excellent question. For a space like that, a rolling barrel with an accessory skirt might be the best option. A lot of office cleaning involves taking out the trash, so you’ll want a large, mobile trash can that can also hold your spray bottles and towels.
@@OctoCleanMedia thank you so much! You guys are amazing in every way 🙏😊
Add a door stop and trash grabber tool.
Good catch. We usually have a door stop on our carts. The trash grabber is a great addition. Thanks for watching!
What about antibacterial spray? Do you not keep that on your cart?
Absolutely! We use Waxie's 315 foaming disinfectant spray.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do you guys do schools too?
Yes we do!
Where can i purchase those instructional cards?
We created these cards custom for our team, but you've given us the idea to make them available moving forward. We will keep you posted!
@@OctoCleanMedia awesome! Let me know when it's available!
