And it's more like, You did a good goddamn job out there today, but them sticks you call legs better jump for that ball instead of standing there with them eyes closed tighter than a dolphin's ass praying it falls into your glove cause it's going to smack you in your pretty little face. My daughter eats it up that I treat her no different than I did her brothers. I'll say something half-serious and she'll just laugh it up and tell me she's just falling out my mouth. The boys had a hard time growing up though, but they survived. My grandchildren try to tell me it's child abuse and then I ask them are you able to lay down in comfortable bed, belly stuffed out like I've feed you a horse and are you still breathing after you've told me to fuck off. Then you aren't being abused kid. You're being asked to do chores and or being told you could do a better job. I don't care if you've made an A+ and getting your ass kissed. There's always room for improvement. I tried tell all the children I ever worked with what they were weak at and what they did well. I tried to tell the one's that felt socially neglected and didn't fit in that they could do something about. some people today are satisfied on being on a tv show
your damm right
Crazy this makes even MORE sense today.
+JimThePlanet it really does
Razor Reznov yeah Stone Cold really Called it right there that spoke volumes
These guys almost had me convinced they might have a match together. Austin seemed more open to the idea of working with Punk than with anyone else.
Apparently there was going to be but Austin's health issues prevented it :( Just heard JR talk about it on a podcast. (th-cam.com/video/DJMpITh4nCQ/w-d-xo.html if you're interested).
@@scott4361 they tried. A lot of talk. Austin was just never healthy at the right time and by the time he was punk was gone.
Imagine if we’d had Punk vs Austin on the same WM card as Rock vs Cena - would’ve been a blockbuster
Lol, cry harder he loves Kevin Owen's
@@taylorselenafangirl6691 What. Nobody said he didn't? Austin has just always stated that Punk would be the guy he would have one more match with. Like, once Punk left in 2014, Austin stopped talking about having one more match. I know that before Austin had his match with Owens, Jim Ross said that Austin talked to him about it, that he wasn't enthusiastic about it, and that he didn't even know what he was going to do. It was also kind of last minute.
Literally a decade ago what a legend
With all the rumors of CM Punk coming back to WWE. This interview just popped out of my youtube feed.
Love this... Steve even brought his knee brace... Ya know... Just in case. Better than anything I've seen in WWE in years
Knee brace and New Balance shoes laced up son!
@@TheRoMandaloriaN and pack of six in his cooler 😂
@@apollo4885 hell yeah
Lol he actually had a real surgery which required the knee brace to have an actual use this time
So good aye!
"And don't stare at me, with your beady little eyes" hahaha
tense lol
Stone cold said not to and the rebel kept doing that.
@@cmderp bruhh I see you in every punk video, you just another stupid punk hater lol jerk
Stone cold is so hilarious, just his facial expressions when he is not talking. I find myself cracking up.😅
After tonight this interview holds new hope lol
Stone cold: 'I will walk in that locker room, open up a can of Whoop Ass, and serve it! To everybody in there!" 😂
That was a better promo than any promo I heard for the last 5 years of the wwe tbh
1 can serves everyone's ass
The attitude era would absolutely torture the PG era
Would hv Murdered pg era
With the steroids and the drugs sure
Not really. But would love to see
Triple H vs randy orton
Stone cold vs cm punk
The rock vs john cena
Goldberg vs brock lesnar
Chris jericho vs daniel bryan
The undertaker vs roman reigns
That's a bit of a reach. Tbh, stone cold couldn't even been in the ring with Brock Lesnar era.
@@cuplishcupid5509 lol most of these matches happened.
Stone Cold was CM Punk of his time. 👍🏼
Shut up smark.
Stone cold drew so much fans and ratings that Cm punk could never draw in his whole life
Other way around
They just now recommended me this video lol
Stone Cold is right..... it kinda does seem like current wrestlers today are just satisfied with being on TV...... in the Attitude Era it seemed everyone on the Roster wanted to reach their full potential
That's why the Attitude era is by far the best era there is, there was, best there ever would be, by the way Bret no fun intended.
That's not true. Hell back in the day wrestlers were excited to be in the same presence as Hulk Hogan. They would be happy they appeared in the same card as him and greatly jobbed to him. Mostly because of how much money they would get by doing it, but still the main thing is people like that existed in every era, not just the PG one
@@Bob-lh4ir no the passion is gone thats why the ship sunk. Do you ever wonder why wwe is not able to create that spine tingling sensation, the overwhelming feeling of a true masterpiece being witnesses by fans these days? Wwe is not what is once was the passion for the business have faded over the years. The magic so to speak, is gone.
@@jasonmatthews4449 the passion is gone and in that you're right, but not the passion of the wrestlers, because every man and woman in the current locker room, not only of WWE but of pretty much every major company, grew up watching wrestling, admiring wrestlers, they give it all in the ring, they train hard and dedicate their lives for the sport, they want to elevate their craft to next levels, and they definitely have the talent and the charisma for it. The passion is gone when it comes to the bookers, the writers, the creatives, the editors, the higher ups, the yes-men that Mr. MacMahon loves to keep in his team, you know, the people that are supposed to put over all this amazing talent that reeks of lust for success instead of limiting them. Even the best of the best from the attitude era would struggle in today's landscape.
Cm punk handles the interview well.. Considering who's he sitting with, especially when that guy sitting with him is 100% in character.
"and don't stare at me with them little bitty eyes" *stares down into his soul*
Chex Mix Salinas beady little eyes..
CM Punk looked away first. COLD Stone Cold Steve Austin!!
I think he had to work to keep a straight face from busting out laughing. They are both in character...but to look at the man and say that...id crack up and die laughing
Chex Mix Salinas hahahaha. cm punks stare can make even a corpse stand and run away.
“don’t stare at me wit them little beady eyes” 😭😭i still use that a decade later
Great line at the end. Punk: "May the best man win...." SCSA: "Oh, I would. I damn sure would."
Who is watching this in 2019??
am watching it!!!
Who is tired of these thoughtless comments?
I watch this once a year
Who hates these comments?
Hell yeah
why did this get recommended to me today
2 of the best talkers in history showing how its done
Delusional if you think punk is at that level
Yeah he is a decent talker but has little star power. Would be mid table dross in the attitude era
Stone Cold at the end was all like: Damn. Finally met someone who got some balls 😂
More like: I knew this clown was gonna get silly.
+Hoonozit: Nah he said in another interview that he really enjoyed the promo here and complimented Punk for it. He also said if he was still wrestling, he would love to feud with Punk because he is, as Austin says in that interview, an amazing wrestler and phenomenal on the mic. You can see the video if you search for "Steve Austin on Wanting to Face CM Punk if he Had a Final Run in WWE" by channel "WrestlingRambles89"
@@Hoonozit shut the f up
@D J I'm sure he knows that...genius
@D J It's scripted not fake, get it right.
Steve Austins tone and demeanor are such that even when paying you a compliment, you feel like you are being challenged or insulted. Dude is amazing. I can imagine him telling his kids what a good job they did. SUZIE, I WANT TO TELL YOU, YOU DID A DAMN GOOD JOB OUT THERE TODAY IN RIGHT FIELD. JUST PHENOMINAL. I REALLY JUST COULDN'T BE PROUDER OF YOUR ASS. NOW LOAD UP AND LETS GO GET SOME ICE CREAM.
This comment deserves more likes😂
I'm still like that with my kids in their late 20s because my dad was like that with me. Constructive criticism. Now I see my 7 year old grandaughter being awarded C-Honor Roll Certificites because she refuses to pick up a book. And then she kepts the same free pizza from Pizza Hutt the kids who worked hard get.
Stone Cold came up in a time when you paid your dues. I’m feeling that is what he is getting at plus in a real fight bc of the background of Austin and football and the Sportatorium I really feel on sheer power alone Punk would be like wtf just hit me?
I read this in his voice 🤣😩
Lmao
The Intensity Stone cold has is something that is missing from today’s promos. The eyes tell more a story than the words.
"May the best man win."
"Oh, I would. I damn sure would."
"Don't stare at me with them little bitty eyes"
lmao Stone Cold says the most hilarious things in a very intimidating and aggressive way
Punk stares and doesn't blink 😂😂🤣🤣
Lmaooo

Little bit of context, both Austin and punk were super pissed at the business at this time due to the rock and cena trilogy, they’re basically showing the business how to do a really good face vs face feud
I don't think Austin had an issue with Rock / Cena
@@armughankhan6077 he said it on some early broken skulls, lots of what’s and bull shits in that episode, don’t remember but it’s an old excerpt clip I saw. I can’t believe my phone gave me a notification to respond to a 5 month old comment but I’m down for non toxic comment convo any time, in particular I remember stone cold saying the cereal jokes were old within a week.
@@rockymcdonald1863 lol I just saw your comment and just didn't remember Austin having a bitter comment during that time. But hey, I must have missed out on it.. If you can do share that with me would love to hear that
Yeah, I wouldn't think Austin would have cared. He knows the business, and knows Rock/Cena is marquee.
@@jph595 who knows, couldve been a great ad, im pretty sure he said in an old stone cold pod before it was broken skull he was tryna give the champ a rub cause he thought a third mania of cereal jokes was a bad idea this was like 2015 who knows if u can even find the clip
WWE 13 is without a question the greatest video game in the history of technology 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is dope. We miss these kinds of segments in the WWE, these two are such professionals and they’re so similar😂😂
They were like throwing hate at each other but giving each other positive feedback at the same time.
Stemster you don't have to like someone to give them respect.
Stemster it's called a crap sandwich. Like management does in industry reviews
Just Backhanded compliments left and right
6:12 Stone Cold almost broke character trying not to laugh at CM Punks hilarious improvising 😂😂😂
good catch!! thats hilarious!!
Send for the man
Also when punk talks about the time machine
To know this entire video was called on the fly shows the amount of talent and skill here.

The person who would win is the person the script said would win. Every wrestling match is scripted. It's a soap opera for men , mostly.
Just watching this coming back to high school it's a video game old school attitude era/ smackdown! 1999 - 2001 reunited for wwe '13

This was a brilliant way to promote the game! And this interview segment holds up to this day, I still want to see this match actually happen. And for the title! Only one can dream.
None of these guys are with WWE now and they're all entertaining... Good job guys.

+Ryan Ferrier stone cold is kinda doing a podcast show for wwe network actually...
lyhthegreat He's not on Raw, Smackdown, or any PPV's though. His podcasts are usually better than the shows lol.
+Ryan Ferrier I mean, that's for health reasons. He's still contracted with the WWE, an "employee" (since all wrestlers are technically contracted.)
I do agree, though. Bring back JR and Punk. Too bad Punk never would (and I don't blame him.)
