I've been a classic rock fan all my life, I recently started listening to Crowder, he's taking place of the secular music I've has in my life for 50 + years, praise God for his music
My wife and I attended Stanley's church in Atlanta several years ago and You were doing ALL 5 services of Praise & Worship...OH MY! Your drummer had TWO complete drum sets and Played them beautifully. Your band was SO Professional...loved it so much!!!

I became a fan of Crowder in 2012 at a music fest in Nappanee, Indiana. I love his music and his passion for people to know the love of Jesus personally. He is truly gifted.
So wild and proud to see Crowders rise over the years. I was in church choir with David and Toni in high school in Texarkana, Tx. The crazy stories of that tour 😀
@@jenns6063 Preach it sister! That is why Jesus chose to be a carpenter knowing that someone more talented would come that No ONE, NOT ONE would be more talented. That man is Crowder. When we are all in heaven, Crowder will be leading us in worship 24/7! Yee Haw!!!
Fantastic interview, and I just wanna say, I love what he said about people in scripture who always prayed about getting through it instead of getting around it, and even when Jesus faced the cross, he still prayed father not my will, but thine be done.
My oldest grandson is almost 28 and he has down syndrome. His favorite Christian artist is Crowder. When he comes to visit we put crowded music on and we worship and we dance.
If yall didn’t know, when he says he just started out trying to help a church, he started leading worship at a church in Texarkana. And it all took off from there.
Crowder is definitely my favorite Christian artist and possibly my favorite music artist of all time. I've seen him in concert multiple times and he never disappoints. And clever title for this video. 👏🙌
I’m glad I took the time to click and watch this video. I love the way he explained Exile, gave me chills. I remember seeing The David Crowder Band years ago at Spirit West Coast in Monterey, CA. Glad he is doing well…❤️🙏🏽😊
My dad used to get rid of his beard but keep his mustache. He just wasn’t Dad. We would try not to laugh, but he just looked so odd without his beard. I love Crowder. My favorite Collab he did is with TobyMac. He has such a unique sound that you easily recognize, and his songwriting cuts to the heart of what it means to be a Christian in this era.
This ^ reply was on Crowder's Good God Almighty song. I don't know why or how it found it's way to here. But, regardless, I'm glad it did that bc otherwise I may have missed this interview.
Got to meet Dave at the Atlanta airport back in 2022. What an AWESOME individual, though he says he still has stiff hands from making the Shine video out of Lite Brights.
I think his brain must go 90 miles an hour! He is almost on genius level when it comes to writing amazing songs and compiling them into musical works of art.
My church in Houston… cy-fair Christian church…. Got Crowder to play a concert at our church right before he got really big. The next year I was so bummed he wasn’t doing the concert again that year and our worship leader said he got too expensive super fast. So glad I got to see him at least once and so glad he made it big!
Exile is great and the song “ Rinsed in The Blood “ , chorus is like Sami yoihku , their traditional songs (people in north Finland) . Your lyrics are awesome , they speak powerful, I love them
I'm 66 and when I was fostered in Denver at 15. My friends and I use to go to Red rocks every Friday night and climb up to the cave above the amphitheater, it was a great summer! I went back a couple of years ago and it was all fenced in....made me sad. On my bucket list is to see Jeremy Camp play there if he ever goes back there.
Red Rocks! Enough said. Great, great, great venue. If you get the chance, come to a show. Crowder, Springsteen, U2, Chris Tomlin, the list goes on and on...

I've been a Crowder fan since the mid 90's. The CCM industry has seen so much change in the last 2 decades. Yet Crowder always stays current in his song writing, music technology, and style.
@@johnzimmerman6516I've been aware of him since the late 90s. He had the David Crowder Band and I know they came my region performing at an area church. That is how i first heard of him before his music hit the radio. CDs were around and some of their music was starting to get popular in churches before they hit it bigger and then later he became just Crowder. His style has evolved some and I really like a lot of his newer stuff. Whatever he's done, he's always been current.
I really need to listen to this guy. Unfortunately most of the music on stations like K-Love just sound like manufactured processed formulaic music-it's like the same five guys in Nashville are Now writing all of the CCM songs! Seriously, I cannot tell the difference between any of the top 10 CCM songs!
We loved getting to see you at Red Rocks with Matt Maher and Third Day. That was one of my favorite concert nights. Red Rocks (IMHO) is the best concert venue around!!
HAH!! Love the beard talk. About 7 years ago my wife started talking about "what do you think about the scruffy look?" I was hesitant. A couple of weeks later I took the beard down to stubble. When my wife saw it she said "Why did you do that?!" I replied "You told me to." She said "But I didn't know it would look like that." OUCH!!!! (that was my face.)
He has such a diverse musical spectrum. Last Christmas I discovered his Milk and Cookies:A Merry Crowder Christmas. The Elf Song is hilarious. My first love is his Christian music, but that album is fun.🎉
I had the opportunity to enjoy one of his concerts in Columbia SC years ago. He was with a few other artists. When they left and people were leaving, a good crowd of us stayed and he came rolling back out. He stated for another 30-45 minutes. The greatest things is he was playing different instruments like Sax-A-Boom.
The Real Deal. I must say this....people get enlightened in all kinds of ways. As a "sideline", I've led worship at shelters here in the Phoenix area, leading them in worship, just my vocal and an acoustic guitar, where they sing along with me, like in church. But on occasion, I'd do a Solo song when I felt the mood was right for that, and they just listen. SO, at times, THAT song was "All My Hope". On one of these occasions, there were two people, one on each side of the first row, and during that song, both of them were sobbing their hearts out. I wound up talking to each of them afterwards. One was a former suburban housewife who was injured, and then later got hooked on prescription drugs---so SHAME ON DR's who knowingly do that!---and eventually, her hubby kicked her out of the house. She didn't "look like" a homeless person, and that's why. The other person was a young Native American Indian kid, 20 yrs old, who already in his life had 3 felony charges. BOTH said that Crowder's song meant "so much to them". And that is how God works. Other pertinent songs I'd do in those circumstances were "Why Me Lord" and "Three Wooden Crosses".
