- tdlr; this boss has faust's global range and unblockable + mandragora's reduce ASPD skill and seal tiles + talulah's ignite 4 adjacent tiles splash attack and under 50% HP buffs.

Immune to all CC except Slow, bind and Float.
Talents:
+ Unblockable (Faust), normal attack deals Art dmg to target and 4 adjacent tiles.
+ When HP Below 50%, all damage dealt from "Playwright" increases by 50%, DEF +100%, RES +80%. Immediately use S1 then S2, and Consume CDs of Skills are reduced by 25%.
Skills:
+ S1 - Full screen ATK (10/20s or 15s): Targets all targets on the field and deals 80% Art damage to the targets and 4 adjacent tiles.
+ S2 - Playwright's Attention (0/20s or 15s): Select 1 most recently placed OPERATOR (Summon units will get ignored) on the field, apply permanent debuff which:
* Reduce 50% ASPD.
* Deals Art damage every second equal to 4% of the target's Maximum HP.
* When target retreats from the battlefield while having the debuff, seal that target's tile (Frostnova's Black Ice), and also increase the target's redeployment time by 50%.
Note: 2nd Skill will not reselect target that has been debuffed.

- Defender Recruitment Vouchers obtained from Shops or as a drop will be upgraded into Elite HR Dispatch Letters.
- Immediately gain +6 Objective HP.
- Squad size limit +2.
- Squad size limit +1.
- Vanguard Operators start with +15 Initial SP.

- Another recruitment ticket is added to post-battle drop options.
- Increases the effect duration of stun, chills, freeze and other status effects on the enemies by 110%.
- All friendly units regenerate 10 HP/s.
- Increases the effect duration of stun, chills, freeze and other status effects on the enemies by 100%.
- When an enemy takes damage from allied units, the damage is increased based on the distance from the damage source (capped at 100%)
- Redeployment time of all operators -10%. (First 4th ending relic)
- All operators gain +50% ATK for 1s after activating a skill.
- Deployment Limit +2.

Curious how they gave him buffs while below 50% hp, not 2 phases with a revive between them. Shows the lack of urgency, I guess? He fights you but he isn't very serious about it.
All IS2 bosses have no phases btw

@@vallar57 probabely because he cant be leaked so you dont "kill him" just before the blue box only to find out he has a second phase. And also to show that lorewise he is just as much a puppet as everyone else.

and also Yes, he's basically the writer of the crimson troupe, no doubt that he's powerful.
All is#2 is just a script he wrote. Then something went wrong(The black cat ruined the script) so "we" fight him

How do you get this ending tho? Is it like the bear one just pick up stuff and go, or like the 3rd one where you need to finish the normal ending first too?
This ending is only obtainable in CN version (currently), after you completed a normal run in any ending prior to that, you unlocked relics required for the 4th ending.
The ending acts more like the 3rd ending, needed to get 1st Encounter with battle to win specific relic, after 3rd floor, get 2nd encounter with battle to win another specific relic, after that one the 6th floor boss will be changed to Playwright (beating it will unlock 4th ending)
@@MoonLightOri I'm aware it's only avilable in CN for now, I was wondering about the in game requirements. So you have to defeat the ending 3 boss and then the ending 4 boss appears or am I understanding this wrong, and you defeat Phantom like in normal ending and then floor 6 is the 4th ending?
@@KhadiPlays you only need to defeat phantom AFTER THAT 3RD EXPANSION UPDATE and the relics required for 4th ending will be unlocked

Finnally i finished ending 4 🙏
i failed to triggered ending 3 but for some reason i got ending 4 instead i have no information about the stage..i thought it was a normal stage but it was hard as hell and i managed to beat the stage in my first try but i have many leaks on my side 😂
I got the relic from story teller, iris, i got the 4th ending collectible, even tho i haven't clear second ending yet 💀

is the skill like base on how many attack he will do before using the skill like faust?
It's not, even faust skill is actually based on SP regen, if you try to debuff aspd he will fire purple bolt with less normal shot.

The boss is as challenging as the 3rd ending boss if you don't have meta ops. My Surtr and Skadi make a short work of him
