My first E2 was Gummy! She may not be recommended but she is kind and that's all that matters (plus she's a four star)

Both Gummy and Cuora are such lifesavers in early game all the way to the later chapters. One for healing and bonk stun stalling, and the other for the high block count and self healing
Myrtle was my first e2. Having enough dp to place your team is essential. Followed by Angelina. She is really fun to use and have great damage
as someone whose my first e2 is angelina I can confirm. I use her to the point it feel weird not having passive regeneration on team
Silverash has the most impactful e2 to this day on my account. His s3 and talent are very good in making content slightly easier without making it too easy.
But SA is an awful choice for the first E2.
Since it cost too much to e2.
And his S3 also is hard to use if its not m3
@@yogi_gs yeah that'd be an issue for most people but I rushed him straight to m3 without any regard for what resources I lost and it paid off.
@@yogi_gs The thing with SA is that is your first," oh shit i need to kill this boss/wave right now" 1 time button, surtr is more powerfull but he can cover all lines of the map if you use him well and in skill lv 7 is enough for defensive purposes at M3 is when u can use him offensively + its normally overlook but being able to bypass stealth is just op.
In my opinion, the best operator to E2 first is the one you can get the materials for. Events are a huge boon for this, and as soon as you promote anyone you have full access to friend support units. That will make farming high tier materials easier for your other operators.
Don't forget IS2 for 6*s. Still wouldn't rush one as my first, but rn with Level 78 in that mode? Exusiai is asking me for some apple pie (S3M3) and 8 more guns. And I'm inclined to oblige. Especially after making Perfumer my first E2 for the very reason you laid out. Sometimes efficient use of resources is taking stock first.
The best operator to E2 first would be a 4* that you know you would use.
For one, they are usually cheap to promote.
And secondly, getting at least one operator to E2 will let you use E2 Support Unit.
At best, they could have a someone with a strong maxed out meta character as a Support Unit to borrow.
At worse, they will still most likely find a maxed out meta character, just that they won’t have mastery.
But still, a E2Lv90 Surtr or Ling or someone like that even at Skill Rank 7 can go a long way for a new player.
My firs e2 was my firs 6* Angelina. At that time i wasn't using support operators. The huge difference between her 3rd skill to other her skills was so satisfying to use. So I have no regrets having her as my first e2. Although I rarely use her now.
Also you probably should note that Absinthe is acquirable in Record Restore for quite cheap if you want an alternative caster to Amiya, since she was recommended!
But you'll need to E2 her anyway in order to complete story missions
My first E2 was Myrtle. On an account standpoint, Myrtle's role as a DP printer is eternal, and her upgrade materials were immediately available to me from recent events, hence she was my optimal pick. I would also recommend her to others simply because she makes deploying high-DP operators easier for newer Dokutahs. At that point in time, high-DP operators would be one of the few sources of stat sticks available for clearing content, hence Myrtle is a great pick overall.
Furthermore, I have a few consternations with the six star recommendations. Thorns is arguably one of THE best units to have as your first E2 operator, simply because he'll have access to his 3rd skill, costs relatively less DP to deploy than some of the units listed above, and does a lot of roles well that a newer Dokutah can use up fewer slots overall; such as in lane holding where his self-heal, aerial coverage and multi-lane range can pick up the slack where a healer, sniper and one-two defenders would be needed.
It is interesting to note your stance of focusing more on damage in the early stages of the account as opposed to utility. I suppose picking Myrtle as my first E2 does have its downside, such as being unable to clear GA and WD stages last year due to low damage thresholds overall. I approached the game more on a generalist standpoint: Which roles am I missing (arts damage, single target dps, fast redeploy, etc.)? What operator would have helped a lot in clearing the past few event stages? Which operators do I use a lot; in contrast, who are the ones that need high levels/investments to get a satisfying payoff? Hence, my first ever E2 being Myrtle.
... After typing this all out, I just realized I'm heavily affected by my econ classes. I'm economizing even in a live service gacha-based tower defense game!

I picked Myrtle for my first E2 for similar reasons, plus her masteries were also cheap so it helped me get my free Texas, which is an amazing Vanguard
I started this game three years ago. I adored Red's mechanics so much, that I made her my first E2. I still don't regret it.

My first E2 was Amiya! I was like, "getting a 3rd skill = 6 star value for 5 star cost! It can't be beat!"
Protagonist privilege. I only raised mine after chapter 8, but she's totally worth it
Ayy me 2! After 1 month of playing i got her to e2 to beat the final boss of chapter 3 anime-style. Then got silverash e2 a couple days later
Amiya skill is not really much but that "getting a 3rd skill = 6 star value for 5 star cost" logic is something I respect.I am not saying that you made a dumb choice,after all no need to get disrespectful :D
Personally, Amiya is obsolete in current main and event stories but is still good in IS.
Now that she has medic class, you can get her to E2 much easier and faster in IS.
I remember clearly my first E2 is Vigna, the reason is very simple. I love her Ambience of Synesthesia skin so i bring her everywhere and E2 her. Still use her till today despite i have better vanguards 😁

Jessica was my first E2 simply because I felt she needed a promotion not only to get stronger but to get more self-secure as well. I rarely use her but damn her E2 art is something else.
Now she's got an alter!!!
I'd like to add Blemishine in the good choice category, she's one hell of a versatile unit that can hold lane early to mid/late game and helps your squad survive with S2 or elite killing with S3. She does fall off a bit when arts dmg becomes the main source of dmg coming your way but she can still survive it due to module and S2
I first e2 was mrytle (cos everyone told me to) then looked at several 4* clears and decided to e2 pinecone because she sounded so cute (and looked fun to play) although i use her less often now (because im trying to trust farm) i never regretted e2ing her:)

I just started 3 or 4 weeks ago. I know it's not optimal but I speedran E2-ing SilverAsh after my friend showed me his Skill 3 lol. It only took 12 days... Currently also got Ptilopsis and Ifrit at E2
My first E2 was Courier. Man has been helping me ever since I got him for the first time.
Having pioneers helps so much during the story chapters. Who would have thought, block is good
@@RewriteKuma True. Funny thing is, I didn't bother to use Courier until couple weeks after I got him from shop since Scavenger is a bit too squishy for my liking lol. He ended up becoming my main vanguards.
I temporarily played with a no gacha account back when I started and I got by decently. It is true that a 4* is the fastest to raise to E2 so you can start borrowing support units, but if you want to try and skill your way through and not borrow stuff, I'd recommend building Amiya. My biggest pain back then was dealing with the hard hitting elites and bosses. Amiya's S2 and S3 are nice quick delete buttons for them.
My first E2 was Specter Alter, since i started the game around early November.
It took me A LOT of resources but now she's sitting at a nice Lvl90 M2 with both modules unlocked at X2-Y3.
She has been carrying me during all the boss fights till 6-1 where I'm currently sitting because I haven't made much progress in the story after Ideal city
Perfumer was my first E2 and the only operator I currently have at maxed level! I honestly got attached to Perfumer as she never left my team the day I decided to pick her up
My first E2 was Jaye. I started about 1 week before Stultifera Navis. Even at E1 he carried me through that hell(can't complete it though, only able to get Lumen without potential). Later he carried me to clear IS2 for the first time. He is now a staple in my squad☺
My first E2 was... either Cuora or Silverash. I don't remember which one it was specifically, but I know it was one of the two because I really wanted to raise the former, and the latter was my first 6-star ever so he's got a special significance to me.
Amiya was one of my first E2 back in my early days 3 years ago. It was good surprise to learn about Guardmiya after 2,5 year break, which made me feel like it was really good investment lol, even tho I was stuck in chapter 5 since it was like last chapter atm.
And I can't really remember who was THE first, but I so glad I did some 4* and 5* like Jess, Meteor and Meteorite etc, it felt like an awesome comeback thanks to them lol

I’m sure my first E2 is Zima and mainly I personally like her (and the first 5* I started with). She’s a tanky vanguard with support and I use her still since not many are like her in certain scenarios that aren’t just support only.
Somewhat related note, I remember not borrowing units when I started off Arknights, so even if I did E2 someone, I barely used supports for stages, that sometime I forget it’s an option.
Vigna and Utage are the easiest of the bunch to E2 (only need S2-1 cleared to access every material) so they're a good choice.
That said, you have to E2 Amiya so, well, just do it.

I think my first E2 was either Texas or executor but since I started playing more than 2 years ago I can’t really remember. Anyway for the new players quick deploy ops can be very useful for things like baiting big damage attacks so I recommend to get Gravel to at least E1
My first E2, back in the day, was Hoshiguma. Even though she lacked damage, she helped tank a lot of my first few chapters. I liked her honest design, and hell it looked cool. To the new players out there, there's no need to play to the meta, you can play through functionally with almost any operator, as long as you know what you want. For me, I did not even build a single vanguard to e2 up until the higher 60s because I felt they weren't compatible with a high damage playstyle. But, do raise them early ( I didn't), as the DP boost in early game helps u roll out more ops before the big baddies come in the later stages. Optimally, I e2-ed around 5 operators: Hoshi, Chen, Blue Poison, Nian and Blaze, and it took me all the way past chapter 5, so yeah just build what you love, it makes early game fun and enjoyable.
My first E2 was Amiya, thanks to having almost all the resources I needed from IS2, with minimal farming outside of that
Now, thanks to your video, I am realizing that it might be better as an IS player to E2 as many units as I can, which makes 4* the best options to choose from
That's a great decision that will be rewarded soon in IS3 if you plan to climb the ascention levels. There will be one of them that raises the hope cost of everything
SA was my first E2 for a very simple reason: I wanted to focus on farming some stages to raise more operators, he was the best option I had for that and, luckily, his materials weren't hard to come by. I still think is worth E2'ing first a high impact, versatile 6* like him, but with the quantity and quality of 4*'s we have now I can totally see focusing on 4*s as a more optimal alternative. Funnily enough, is not really considered by a big part of the community (the same part that only recommends Myrtle as the first E2...)
First E2 was Magallan because it's my waifu. The instant I got her via the 6* selector pack in Skalter's event I was ready to get her to E2 and she carried me hard.
Also I think Mudrock would be a good choice for a early 6* if you get the chance to drop her early. I dropped her as one of my first 6* and she really makes the game easier for new players. Also it was my go to support unit at the start of the game.
Surtr was my first E2 after about a month of playing F2P. I don't regret it one bit, she's a beast.
My first E2 was Gavel Alter, definitely took awhile to grind for mats but it was worth the pay off. Since then I have E2 Thorns, and Texas.
5:45 *tripling, her S2 is +200% at M3, which is 3 times
My first E2 was Ambriel because I'm a sucker for pink hair..also because I think she was the only one who had a gobal skill at the time and I found that pretty cool.
My first and only E2 at the moment is Lappland and it feels like a cheat code - she is *incredible* at carrying the rest of my squad. I’m going to chill and E2 some cheaper operators for team balance first, but Angelina and Surtr will be waiting not-so-patiently
for me surtr was my first e2 lol, cant wait to use that erase button for almost every enemy
My first e2 was beanstalk, then gladiia and then perfumer, then just opreaters I thought I needed and finally Dorothy came and I maxed her out just an a couple days because she became one of my favorites
Beehunter was my first E2 operator. Activating her skill 2 and watching her mach punch a hoard of enemies to death was so satisfying that I had to make it better

I rush-raised myrtle to E2 so I could have a fighting chance at doing the near light event with a support. Definitely not an ideal first E2 option, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do with the materials you have. I don't regret it since myrtle's my only flag vanguard, but thorns is imo a very valuable E2. he's damage + sniper + laneholder + self sustain all rolled into one. Silverash is also pretty good for his schwing schwing at e2 + redeployment time reduction.
getting a ranged dps to E2 is also a good option, Pozy with her module + s3 +E2 beefed up stats made everything imaginable easier.
imo, E2ing any unit will not be a waste as long as your account will benefit from an e2 unlockable skill or allows you to immediately m3 a skill. Once you E2 a unit, make sure you can go to atleast level 30. Level 60 is a nice stopping point, and E2 level 80 is where I want every unit I use to reach someday.
My first e2 was thorns. I regretted the month long grind but definitely reaped the rewards.
Six months too late! But I just saw this, I started playing three months ago 😅
My first E2 was Myrtle. Then I E2'd Thorns, Meteor (reason-I-started-playing-the-game coincidentally, glad to see someone give her the value she deserves), Amiya, Courier, Exusiai and Cuora, and now I'm (painfully) farming to E2 Eyjafjalla... my method is going by trust. If an op has high trust, chances are I've been using them a lot, so they get E2'd first.
First E2 was Haze. She is a caster, I had her leveled up pretty high along with Amiya. I got her to E2 because of pinboard missions. My next E2 would likely be Kirin Yato or Qiubai or Thorns.
It's crazy how much use pinecone has given me.. really reliable for when you don't have other units yet
My first E2s were Lappland and Deepcolor. Would I recommend E2ing Deepcolor to a newer player? No, not really, there are many other options that require less micromanagement. I love Deepcolor, but it wasn't until recently that I started using her everywhere since I have other ops raised to actually do some dps.
My first six star as a new player 3 years ago was Hoshiguma, so naturally, she was my first e2 (my second was lappland)

i needed a bit more power from s3 to clear the last wave in anni 2 and also the extra dodge as pseudo res
then spectre since the regen and extra block are a big upgrade to her power and versatility

The best way to choose
Greyy is my first E2 I was having trouble with mob clearing at the time so E2ing an Aoe character would probably be the best choice for me and at the time Pudding wasn’t out yet and I was too lazy to go out of my way and E2 Meteorite and Greyy was maxed so I just E2 him, I’ve been using him since til now(Because Lava purgatory is underwhelming and Mostima sp was so high it’s hard to justify using her) just recently benched him for Greyy Alter and Astgene and Goldenglow will do just fine anyway
it took me a long time to realize that e2 can get important talents/skills, and when i realized, i went on an e2 spree. i remember doing angelina, silverash, and exusiai first, and i think i did gummy and ptilopsis in that spree too.
i had been holding off cuz i wanted to e2 eyjafjalla first, but i was glad i eventually moved past and did other e2 before doing her (i think got from cert shop?).
My first E2 was Myrtle and followed by Ch'en Alter. I started playing Arknights in the middle-end of "Code of Brawl" 1st release and didn't E2 anyone until a few days before "Dossoles Holiday" just because I was too busy building everyone I use to E1 Max Level. For now, I have around 60 E2 Operator and about 20% of them are 4-stars Operators and I still use them a lot, especially Perfumer and Jaye.
During cc6, I was about 2 weeks into playing and I was informed about how the support system worked. So I rushed to get my first E2 in order to give CC6 a go.
I ended up E2'ing Myrtle for the dp regen and trying out many, many different strats. It was a challenge to say the least, but the night before the first week ended, I secured my R18 clear and got my trimmed medal!
I don't think I would have enjoyed Arknights nearly as much as I do now if not for that experience. Higher level content is where the game really shines for me (and IS2, but that came later.)

You should level up your e2s just a little bit it's a cheap as e0 qlmost
my first e2 was lappland, i had her in my first account and she became my fav wolf girl. and even im playing in a diff acc i still raise her, i thought she was quite a staple in my team. i bring her almost every stage, her s2 is pretty good for cleaning small mobs and a tankier enemies. btw kudos for the guide, i'm quite worried bcs in my acc i dont have much good snipers for dps-ing, i rely on deepthroat, she's pretty much e2 m1 on her s2
mine was gummy and myrtle, especially myrtle depending on the situation I can have her as a spare medic for situations where I can't use medic
My very first E2 was Cuora (Back in March 2022). Yes defender. Even still using her till now. whether CC, Annihilation, also Chapter 10.
Her defense is absurd, nothing beats the turtle
my first E2 was perfumer. mostly since im a scene and mudrock simp (coincidentally 2nd and 3rd E2) and perfumer was just cheaper to upgrade and helps those 2. but she is almost a guaranteed pick in any map for me. aoe medics are the best medic archetype. heals more, costs less. and with her module the global heal is actually insane. with perfumers S2 active the global heal is stronger than skalters S2 heal.

Vlw, é nois. Eu dei umas recomendações de 6* no final, mas a real é q eu não acredito q faça muita diferença qual vc decide upar, pq depois de upados, todos eles são mt fortes. E como eu falei, eu tmb acho mt mais fácil começar cm as raridades mais baixas.
It really doesn't matter much who you E2 first as long as you do it asap.
And after the first E2 it really doesn't matter much who you raise as long as you get a good variety of operators.
Breath over depth at the beginning. Preferably two operators raised to E1 in every branch.
And then you do you. No need to bother with what others say.
My first E2 was Myrtle! im proud to say that i've E2'd most of the ops on the tier list, I raised arene, ayers, lappy and SA coz I love playing with Lords and their versatility is really reliable in most stages.
Pinecone, pudding are at M3 and La pluma at E2 rn even though I dont use them much coz they're cute HAHA
I don't remember who my first E2 was...
Anyway, once you have an E2, six stars to borrow and make most story levels much easier are Thorns or Mountain, either operator can lockdown a lane for for you.
Sad you don't remeber... But yeah, picking those carries sure makes life much easier
first played AK lil bit just before R6 collab, a mature Senko san looking knight with a big shield stuck with me, also voiced by my fave va Sakura Ayane. When NTR knight released I re-download the game, pulled her so fast like I was doing an any% speedrun
needless to say she was my first E2, took me a while since I had to get her upgrade materials from events, crystalline electronic unit unlocks after s5-9 or sth
My first E2 was SilverAsh, lol. This was mostly becuase Crimson Solitaire is a pretty fun mode to play and gave resources when you played enough, haha. I do not recommend doing this unless an Event or a way to earn materials quickly is going on.
my first e2 was mountain, and it absolutely shows how much he absolutely carries my games because, on the rare occasion that he dies when being overwhelmed by an area that i'm not ready for? literally EVERYTHING falls apart shortly after. mountain is the glue holding my entire ability to play the game together and i wholeheartedly appreciate him for his contributions

Definitely good video, tho some 6* not mentioned are wild. For example Thorns can cover both land and air damage, self heals and does a lot of dmg. I started on release and my 1st e2 was Siege. Now with all playtime even though she isn't strongest one I still use her from time to time. Also, if some people starting now I would suggest Cantabile if u have her, great 1st e2
oh boi. i started on launch on global server. my 1st 6* was Exia. i got your typical 3* and 4* which were available back then. 1st 5* was Projekt Red.
back in the day internet was full of Silverash or Eyja like other operators didn't even exist. not to mention many of todays meta wasn't even in game, Silverash was the most broken operator for quite a long time. good days. anyway, i fell in love with Exia. i saw her E2 art somewhere and knew what i had to do. rushed everything just to get it asap. no regrets. even when people talked how she "falls off" around chapter 6 and 7... never fell off for me. only in the very 1st CC event she wasn't very useful on high risks but at last i learned to like Saria and to love Angelina.

For me, the best operator to E2 is the one that convinient to E2 at that time. Depend on when they are starting the game, different event would yield different sets of material. Because in most cases your first E2 would be a significant power boost to their account. Then after that they can start building towards full E2 team around the first E2 unit, for more sense of direction and not to waste any material. For me it was cutter, so i build around the fact that cutter is a solid early to mid melee unit so I focused my E2 progression by building ranged dps and healer.
I remember being desperate in leveling up nightingale bc i got her when i was just starting the game and it was so much desperation that i went far to get her at E2 and unlocking a level three factory and workshop while farming for her yeah i did this all when i was at level 19-something-ish, i dont really remember all i remember is that it was around 15-20, the farming for her starting then (she was around E1, level 27 something if im not mistaken) and i got her to E2 at rank 31💀
My first E2 was a 4 star Frostleaf, 2nd was a 5 star Amiya, and the 3rd was a 6 star but I can't recall which one. I just know I did them in rarity order. I started playing a few weeks after the global launch, at the end of January 2020. Back then there was a lot less operators available, and I liked Frostleaf, and I wanted to get a cheap E2 first. Can't really recall who was next, and at this point I have about 100 E2s, and most of them I believe are 6 stars but also quite many 5 stars, and also some 4 stars. I just like upgrading my favorites, and many of them are among the 6 stars.

My first E2 was Sora. 😍 i used the senior operator training pack from the store to bump her up. But yes easier to E2 4* operators. I since have run Cutter, Gitano, Shirayuki and Gravel there,
I badly needed a high DPS, so my first E2 (and prolly the most expensive I have ascended (yes I call it ascending) so far) is Surtr. I have not regretted it once. She fucking slaps. If only she blocked more than 1 unit though.
Which reminds me I need to ascend to E2 a vanguard soon.
i believe my first e2 was cuora since at the time(since im a day 1 player) the event basically handed out enough mats to e2 her while i was working on e2 SA.... ngl surprised you didnt recommend ejya even if she is a bit more awkward than a sniper range wise she prob has the most damage potential of all the 6* at e1 while being super versatile as single+aoe
Personally my first E2 was Ptilopsis. She was one of my first 5*, and she's still part of my default squad as an endgame player, because she's just a very strong and versatile healer. Oh, and my second E2 was Myrtle who is also still part of my default squad because... well, she's Myrtle.
when I first started the game SilverAsh was the 6 star i got from the starter banner. I absolutely refused to E2 any other operators until I had resources to E2 SA first. After getting SilverAsh to E2, I now have nearly 35 E2 ops most of them being 6 stars as well as myrtle being my first 4 star E2
My first E2 was Gavial for the hell of it. My first E2 for an operator I really liked was Ash.
My first e2 was gravel simply because I liked a her lot and needed to clear annihilation3
asap to get certificates to buy saria and get the materials to e2 my beloved shining
my first E1 lv cap was Skyfire, and yeah, she is not that strong, but carried me for a long time, and i really like her meteors lol
May was my first e2 bc I had all the resources to do it ,and I've never regretted it bc her slow is good ,and her resources are very cheap for me as a f2p player
My first E2 is Meteorite. The sarkaz with AoE attack, not Meteor. Followed by Skyfire immediately after. Those AoE attack made a lot of things easier. Not to mention their modules. Skyfire basically Rin Tohsaka is a welcome bonus (play FGO for 4 years, and no Rin Tohsaka at all).
My First E2 was Hellagur, it was hard building him but it was worth it during that time
My first e2 was bagpipe. I want to play vanguardknights at some point so she was obviously one of the main choices. Im still pretty new (in terms of acc playtime and what not) but by the time I noticed the difference in cost between 4* and 6*, I had already e2ed nearl alter and pozy as well. I was going to e2 ch’en alter but I’m thinking against it for now in favour of actually levelling a 4* team.

I'm kinda new to the game (Playing since january. 56lvl currently) and my first e2 was Myrtle. Oh boy... That was a carry for me... And then it went downhill when i get Saria and SilverAsh in like 2 days difference. Saria goes straight up for e2 lvl60 module skill7. Same for SilverAsh except he's lvl41 and doesn't have any modules. I don't know if i'm gonna get punished later for not e2 my 4 stars (or even upgrade most of them) but right now i'm kinda chillin. Dorothy's event EX stages is kinda hard for me still, but I doubt that I would clear them even with e2 4 stars. It's just too hard. Not even support Surtr can help me here
If you survived having myrtle being your first e2 you'll be fine, don't worry about it
First e2 was vigna and lappland couple of days after, she carried me a lot early game, and lappland cuz i started during the lumen boat event

As a new player, my first e2 was courier because I wanted to borrow Ling asap and also my best boy's definitely worth it😂
my first e2 was shaw. she's cute, her s1 is fun even without holes, i conveniently had the resources for her from is2, and she is the only pusher on my account, as i missed guiding ahead. and i feel like neither hh nor recruitment will give me another pusher soon :(
My first E2 was Estelle. As soon as she dropped from recruitment, I knew who my favourite operator was!
Horn was my first E2. Lupo op are my priority, then everyone else.
I'm gonna admit it... I chooses the pain path and upgrade my 6 ⭐ first, begin the first one of all Silver Ash and then continue until I got a functional 6 ⭐ team, then I started with the 5 & 4 ⭐ begin my first one jaye and myrtle, also pinecone for the win

My 1st e2 was SA. Didnt regret it, through all these years.
Because of his chadness e2 spike, i was able to take my time with upgrading other ops. Hell, i was only upgrading HIM for a long time and was soloing anything. Rn i have a huge e2 65 6*, 5* and few 4* roster and a decent amount is fully m3. LIKE SA & PHANTOM ARE. Phantom may not be strong but... He came to me in a 2nd pull on his banner and i cherish that. Besides, hes a swiss knife. Can be like gravel but has a clone too, can burst down an enemy and can apply a big cc for whole 4,5 sec twice cuz of his clone. His s3 may be highly useful for a CC stall.
Yesterday i did my first E2, it was Amiya and i am fine with it considering that i'll need her ability as my friend's advice in the future, later i may end up E2ing some of my 4 stars.
You cannot E2 3 stars. Perhaps you meant 4 stars though which can be promoted past E1.

Best pick kross 3 star and go to burrow list keep refreshing guard till you got mountain thats help even if e1 only then you can start raising your e2 you want more easyly
This is a really good video in terms of operator choices for the start, but I think something like pudding for a first e2 is not a good choice, since you can't easily grind her materials on early stages, although she's really strong
If it's cutting fluid you're concerned about, do remember that Ep9 is accessible as long as you've beaten Ep3 and the first farming stage for them is rated for e1 level 40
This DOES mean you have to do the story out of order which is cringe

I did everything with Amiya first. e1, e2, mastery and took her on basically every level as much as I can. always did main story with her, killed bosses with her s3 etc. although I struggled early on, I just played with who I liked. if I wanted a character, I'd do everything I can to pull them. gave up 6 months of my allowance for ash (pity put her at 120/120th op). seriously this game is fun and the community makes it so easy, just takes a bit of time. I recommend not seeking out/saving materials for a character you don't have and play with who you do. with the guarantee 6 star you can use them to carry so much in story, events and annihilation. I made the mistake of not investing in Silverash, my first 6 star for free. never used him but now its not a big deal. don't stress over your characters, just know this game will be here for many years to come and everyone can and will reach their goals.
My first E2 was Ceylon because I guess she was adorable and helpful in healing when i was a newbie without some good healing ops yet 😭
