CK Shock is my favorite classic winter fragrance, but unfortunately doesnt stay too long, and D&G The One is nice universal all seasons fragrance which i choose if i dont know what to wear. I like both. Im using them for different occasions.
I love The One, but I have the EDT, maybe 4-6 hours, Ck Shock performs better on my skin, I haven't wear it for a while. I also prefer the smell Of D&G... Thanks for sharing your thoughts Dallas.
The One EDP is a more refined scent. Shock is great too. Very pleasant and was $29.99 before tax for the Big 6.7 bottle before tax at a TJmax. Hard to beat. I'd still choose The One because it just smells better to me. Shock is a great cheapie to layer with multitude of other fragrances.
CK Shock is definitely tobacco-ey on the front end. The dry down is acceptable for a date night but you need to apply it an hour before you meet with your date if the smell of pipe tobacco is too much. I have the ALT. clone of Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille called “Nicotianna”. That scent is heavier on the Vanilla up front whereas CK One Shock has no vanilla note listed. I top off the CK with one shot of the ALT. clone and it lasts forever. The ALT. stuff is very potent. Caution! These are cool to cold weather fragrances folks and don’t overspray.
@John Belanger I'm thinking of taking a chance with the CK Shock on a blind buy. I'm looking for a strong Tobacco scent up front! I'm just wondering, does it have a "quality" scent? Or does it smell a bit "synthetic"? Also, how does it stack up against the Spice Bomb and Halloween?... Thanks. 😊

Then it sits close to my skin for around 3 hours, then it's almost gone. I have received only 1 compliment for this fragrance and that was while snuggling with a woman in bed. D&G the one edp was my first ever purchase when I started my frag journey a year ago and I still love it to this day an will always be a permanent in my collection..!! I agree with all your points about the one, a memory maker for myself also.
i like ck shock better than the one i have both but i will say the one is more like ... idk i wouldn’t say smooth bc they are both smooth but they are def for different situations

I was just doing a comparison on myself..I honestly like CK Shock scent better..both had so so longevity and that was using The One EDP. Shock had more pop off my skin which is something I really like..Like what you said in your vid you can’t go wrong with either one.

@@dzdz773 performance is just moderate; gives you about 3-4 hrs before it becomes a skin scent. It is a very nice fragrance though so to me, it's worth it. Just love that booze smell. if you want it to stay longer, just reapply it on your skin.

I bought this before. Smells a lot like attar (islamic perfume). Because the smells is really common, it doesnt amaze me and many people dont like it where i live. And also i can get attar for a very cheap cheap price like 2 dollars for small bottle. So why would i buy an expensive same smell perfume since i can get it cheaper. Thus i sell it few days after 😹

Both of these fragrances in my view are fantastic it does what it's supposed to do, smell so good. I love wearing it in the winter months .
