Smelled the other day. Thought it was okay. Then as I left the mall I realized I had my face in my arm the entire way out. I love it!!

I can say after a very long time of checking reviews that this is the best channel, others feel like they trying hard to sell me a product but also the reviews aren’t all memes or boring
I bought it 2 weeks ago and I’m actually enjoying this fragrance quite a bit!!! At first I thought it was a little too sweet but it has definitely grown on me. Great going out fragrance over all. Definitely recommend this 💪
I'd say the intense version has more depth to the scent. It's richer, sweeter, and my bottle has an earthy quality in the mix.
If you are a fan of the series, then it would be worth adding to the collection because it is a new take on the tried and true formula.

I bought this edp by mistake but I'm glad I did it because I love it. It's like catnip for me. I bought some edp from online store and I got a sample of D & G edp the one gold so instead of buying the gold version I bought the edp intense. I would say for its prize range it is above average. I'd like to know when you say it's under average/average, in what comparison you're saying that?

I just picked up the one EDP and I’m about to return it and get my money back and get something that has 2/3 times the longevity
I love it, becouse IT smells like the drydown of azzaro pure lavender my favourite discontinuit fragrance from 20 years ago
Just tested this one today and his review of the scent and personal preference is spot on! I’m not a big fan of this fragrance, but it’s not offensive either. Kind of starting to grow on me in the dry down, but can’t see wearing this one often enough to buy a bottle. Well done review!
I'm a little late to the party, I only owned "The One grey" which I only picked up because I found it for $19.99 at Marshall's. It is pleasant, but nothing special to me. I just got my hands on The One Intense and I fell in love with it. This is what The One Grey should have been, the Intense is like the mature big brother of The One Grey. This should've been called The one Grey Night. The one Grey should've been the perfect name for this release. It's not too fresh, bright, citrus (White) nor it is too dark (leather, resinous, smokey). This is truly The One Grey, because Grey is the color I see, and feel when I smell this fragrance. I love it, although I wouldn't pay more than $50 for 100 ml .

I've tried this 3 times now and everytime I just get a fusty burnt smell that is horrid.. I love the edp but this new one is really bad to me.. Thanks for the review.. Informative as ever 👍

I personally didn't care for it. I don't think it's a bad fragrance. Crowd pleasing for sure (and I do love a lot of crowd pleasers, I don't wanna come off as a snob). To me it reminded me a little bit like One Million Lucky, but I didn't care for that one either. I still prefer the EDT over any of "The One" flanker's.

Only reason I bought The Intense cuz the tester was only $36. The edp is the winner out of the 3 for me.

great review! this one will be a bit of a sleeper i feel. performance not great, nothing like the standard EDT/EDP, smell hard to break down and no obvious suitability for when to wear it. Herault's blending is fantastic again and i like it more as a casual scent. sweet, fruity, a bit green/floral and just overall very pleasant.
It last like 10 hours for me on clothes

I would go with TF noir extreme. Although I like to layer the one EDT with the one EDP, great results.

The greatest disappointment of D&G is their fragrance performance. I wouldn't mind paying more for The One or even reapplying it throughout the day if only i could actually smell it on me for more than an hour without smelling my wrist.

Yep.. I can confirm already at discounters. i bought mine for $67 at a Canadian discounter just last week. Haven't had chance to open it yet, as I bought several other fragrances at the same time and I like to take my time with each fragrance.
I think it’s discontinued now. So finding it at $67 is gonna be tough.
The One was my 1st love in fragrance. Nothing else came close. Until I really got out there and experienced more, but it'll always be special. Thanks for the review, i'll check this one out but I don't have high hopes. In my opinion, I, for one, me personally, on my skin, I love the og The One. hah, Ash, Enough with the "For me, personally.." we know it's you. You can't state anyone else's opinion, so by default it's yours and doesn't need to be double identified. It can't be "For me, Steven.." so it's redundant. Love the content, keep it up brother. This is the best under $100 fragrance in the world. Better than the edp by far.
I had the intense version and still have the edt but will be buying edp next as it seems like a better choice overall.. but as far as the intense name suggests it dosen't last long and would love to know your guys opinion on the intenso if someone owns that

Intenso is one of my all time favorites it sometimes kinda smells like cherry 🍒

This fragrance is not beast mode but it's not designed to be. Once you get your head around that fact most people will probably love it.
The entire One line is subtle, that's how they were designed. I'm sure they could have made it beast mode but had they done that it wouldn't be "The One"
Not everyone wants beast mode lasting 12 hours. If you are going out for the evening then 6 hours worth of performance should be enough.
If you need longer then take a decant out with you...
Might have to peep this one, but my favorite so far is Royal night and the one EDP, gotta get mysterious night too

I want to try this but our Macy’s doesn’t have a sampler and they won’t open one you have to just buy it. Then they wonder why people go online instead of buying in person. If they had a tester and I liked it, hmmmm I would buy it on the spot. I wonder if that would lead to more sales 🤔

I do wear this to the office because it does not project much, especially in the dry down. My boss has a sensitive nose, and I don't want to gas her out. She's cool with this one.

I found this to be very nice scent in the first 45mins to an hour...then, its gone. And i mean gone. I personally cant smell it hardly at all after an hour..lol. i have to carry an automizer and keep re-applying. Man, i wish it lasted longer, cause i really like it. Oh well..🤷♂️

Every time I smell this, I get 1 million Lucky vibes. I don't know if I'm tripping out. I don't get much spice or leather, but rather just sweetness and it's a bit too much. I don't like it :( I wanted to like it. I wish it was spicy/leathery.

@@dant8162 well, I will say, I tried it on skin yesterday and I get a lot more of the spice and leather. On paper, it smells like Lucky, but only a bit more cloying. Better than Lucky? Not sure. I will give it another full wearing today then report back.

@@dant8162 have to test more before any real comments, but honestly, they are two super different fragrances. I don't even get the EDP vibes at all from intense.
@Michael Myers haha well, on skin it doesn't smell like Lucky. Performance is more nuclear on Lucky I would estimate.

Well, you could do with giving us more information about how you would use it.
But generally speaking, the DNA of the two is practically identical. The EDP is much dense and richer, meaning you'll be able to pick out the individual notes easier, while the EDT is lighter and more accessible. To put it another way, EDT for daytime, EDP for nighttime.
If you want “longer” longevity, choose EDP

I don’t agree with him at all this fragrance is a very long lasting and it stays on the clothes almost for eternity. Don’t see how it’s for the modern man though this fragrance definitely for older men as i see it.

I'd agree with these guys. It's not a bad fragrance. But I personally don't care for it. I enjoy sweet fragrances, and I also enjoy crowd pleasers, but this one wasn't for me

Why when frags are reformulated they tend to become weaker.With The One line one why can’t they just reformulate it to project and last longer. Reformulate for the better not the worse. EDT 4hrs. EDP 5 Intense 3/4hrs. WHY!!!!!????? Lol
