Was just on Oahu last week and went to kapolei upper. Sadly the gouveia banana bread want thete on that day but lower lot lechon and Leanards did not disappoint! Went above sams club to check out the elephant thai restaurant and it was tasty! Great job on all yor recs! Mahalo and aloha from a local who rarely makes it home! Thank u for your channel!

ok too many delish choices today! i am team oysters (just a tiny squeeze o' lemon & couple drops o' tabasco please), those thicker-cut fries drizzled with kabayaki & furikake YUM, and finishing with those fantastic poké wonton nachooos - PHENOMINAL!
i was lucky enough to stay at aulani many moons ago and had a fun time. it's changed A LOT from what you've eaten (for the better yay) so i guess i might have to make that drive out way west lol. your holiday even included a "stop" in SF for my fav hog island oysters at the ferry building! mahalos amanda & felix! ❤

I'm neither cocktail sauce or ponzu style. I like it with chili pepper water and a touch of shoyu. Back in the 70's we had family get togethers at my aunt and uncle house on Enchanted Lake. My cousins and I would go out a pick fresh oyster. We would feast on those!
BTW, I used to work a couple blocks up Market St. from that Hog Island place in the Ferry Building.

Great video. I have a few questions. Can we go into the resort restaurant and bars and shaved ice even if we are not staying at the resort? Are the Umbrellas on the beach for public?.Also love how you guys describe every bite.bit. Thanks for sharing your amazing experiences 👍
You can get food/ drinks without being a guest but I don't think you can use the umbrella cabana or pool

i was at aulani the 8th to that was they day i left
Do you find that eating a lot of amazing food makes you overly critical. When my wife and I used to eat out a lot at the new hot spots we started to complain if food wasn’t “amazing”. Thankfully we caught ourselves not being thankful and reeled it in. My mom caught me complaining about eating “at Zippy’s”, and she told me that “everything is good”.
Also, maybe you guys should retry some crab leg BU-ffetts. It seems that they’ve pulled back a ton since you last visited them.
When getting the shave ice it's not worth it to get it with Mickey ears
