The cafe is wonderful, not to be missed. The Doris Duke theater which is in the basement of the museum is superb. It wasn’t open when I was there in December but I always attend what the theater has on offer.

Like you I haven't been to HOMA since it was called the Academy of Arts during Elementary School time. The food and drinks looks so delicious. A nice way to spend the day!
