Colin I am a 74 year old Ironworker and a bit of a sailor. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes I am so happy for you all. I can feel the love right through the television. Thank you.❤
I'm a 55 year old danish guy. A tough nail and usually a hard sob. My wife heard the kids in the video and asked what I was watching. I couldn't get a word over my lips for the tears in my eyes... Bloody well done, mate...
My father was a Colin and a hell of sailor....my second name is Colin and I try my best on any boat. Rest of the time I am Canada's favorite trucker.lol😮
Northern California here. This was one of the most touching videos you have done. I have watched you over the years cheering you on. Thank you for sharing...you had me in tears over this one.❤❤❤
20 minutes of straight out balling from a 62 year old man. I’ve watched your journey from the beginning Colin. This was like no other home coming. Your family and crew must be so proud of the man you’ve grown into. Aloha
One of Parlay's best episodes. Aren't traditions of a country always amazing and great to experience? The children really radiate joy and the naturalness of this country. Great to watch. 👏
The young man at the helm berthing the boat at the dock, his a keeper Colin, who does that unless they are a natural and confident without the ego! These kids need good mentors at this age.. ⛵️✨
I cannot believe how emotional I get when becoming immersed in your episodes, this isn't a "you tube channel" this is a real life experience that I get to go on with you. The camera/drone work is theatre quality, the journey's are tangible I can smell the salt spray and the grease from the engine and my heart is beating fast and my throat is tightening as you enter Auckland. Thank you for taking us on this amazing trip! Cheers!
My husband caught me crying at the end and I tried to explain why. Colin did a good job of sharing what this homecoming meant for him, but I lost it when the choir started. Seeing how warmly you were all welcomed by so many, the AM show, and the smiles on the kids’ faces. They were so full of joy! I gotta go dry my face - did not expect that this morning. Awesome 👏
Just a humble old Dutchman here, follower for several years now and did a few thousand miles of (ocean) sailing myself. This episode was awesome and gave me goosebumps, welcome home Colin, crew and Parley!
Colin, you had a 57 year old kiwi bloke in tears today with the arrival into my home town as well. I have not felt proud to be a kiwi for a while, today you changed that - thanks and wish you a great stay at home. Those kids will cherish that day for many years to come and perhaps emulate what you and the crew have / are achieving. Well done.
You guys are my favorite Sunday morning watch. USA South Carolina girl here. But I absolutely love that you did good with your proceeds to help those kids. They all seemed so happy and I cried thinking of what a great thing you did for them and it will continue to to give light into their lives. You guys are awesome, so keep up the great positivity! I also loved that Aesha came aboard with you! She’s my favorite Below Deck person along with Colin. Thanks guys!
Colin as a 74 year old retired US Merchant Marine Captain I am honored to have had the opportunity to view your channel which has always been instructional, yet this one just blew me away. Your a Blessed man and we are blessed to have met you.
Colin - just another suburb way to include the younger generation. Also glad to see you finally got home. Keep up the great work with your exceptional crew and see you go around again.
A huge thanks to Colin and the Parlay crew for bringing us along on their journey! I really appreciate Colin sharing his heart and homecoming with all of us ❤
Colin You'll have to set up the Parley Revival Foundation to support and champion projects like these in the episode. Well done all amazing and welcome home Colin
This is by far my favourite episode. Colin and crew what an amazing experience you gave those kids, it made me cry happy tears. How awesome, 12 years old and now can brag about docking a famous catamaran. Thanks for sharing!
What time to be alive Colin..and what a incredible thing you've created with so many others along the way. A mans life can be measured by those he's touched and what he leaves behind with those lives..you and the crew are a inspiration to so many people..
Total awesome Colin, especially Seeing the fun those kids were having, brought tears to my eyes well done mate. I pray nothing but good blessings for you and your crew.
Full circle. Home in Auckland, surrounded by patrons/subscribers/fans/family. Giving an unbelievable opportunity to underprivileged children. Offering hope for many who never considered undertaking a hurricane damaged salvage recovery and attempting to sail around the world. Daring to overcome and succeed against significant odds. Sailing with a good crew.
The laughter and joy of children is the best medicine. I'm a Girl Guide leader and am trying to get a trip put together to take a group tall ship sailing for a week in the Great Lakes. Seeing that group of kids is some great motivation!
Hi Colin and the Parlay crew … I came across your channel last year by accident and went back to the first episode and binged all until I got up to date. Your drive and ambition is amazing plus you’ve had some awesome people on your journey to help. I’m 63 and live in London. Your last episodes coming home to NZ made me very emotional. These kids will remember this day. I hope to see you in Europe. Keep going. David from London UK ❤
I’ve watched you for the past few years on Below Deck, and both my wife and I were always so taken by how you have always conducted yourself in every situation. I’m slightly ashamed to say I’ve only just clicked that you are a fellow kiwi, but then again it should be no surprise! Kia Kaha Colin and the Parlay Crew, all the best for the future brother.
Man that homecoming made me cry. Watching you since episode 1, great job Colin, you never give up. I am damn sure this is only the beginning of whats to come. Wish you all the best.
I live around decile 1 schools here in South Auckland and to see you give these kids the opportunity to experience a small part of your love for sailing to me is the highlight of all the years I have followed you. Kia Ora Colin and crew of Parley. Welcome home from an older American couple, southern hemisphere summering in Taupo. We are so thankful to have been "included" in your homecoming via TH-cam. When you do, stop in Friday Harbor or Roche Harbor in the San Juan Islands, and we will shout the crew's first beverage. "Once you have been to Alaska, you never come all the way back."
