My husband caught me crying at the end and I tried to explain why. Colin did a good job of sharing what this homecoming meant for him, but I lost it when the choir started. Seeing how warmly you were all welcomed by so many, the AM show, and the smiles on the kids’ faces. They were so full of joy! I gotta go dry my face - did not expect that this morning. Awesome 👏

Kia Ora Colin and crew of Parley. Welcome home from an older American couple, southern hemisphere summering in Taupo. We are so thankful to have been "included" in your homecoming via TH-cam. You really should put the Pacific Northwest and the Inside Passage from Seattle through British Columbia to Southeast Alaska on your itinerary. When you do, stop in Friday Harbor or Roche Harbor in the San Juan Islands, and we will shout the crew's first beverage. "Once you have been to Alaska, you never come all the way back."

Another epic episode! Every part was emotional, but the best part were the kiddos’ day on Parlay. Our young children need to experience, and touch, adventures like what you have been gifted. You planted seeds of dreams for those children…truly humbling. Stay true, brother. Peace be with you.

Another emotional episode with the spirit of the traditional Maori homecoming and the unfettered enthusiasm of the children. More tear-jerking moments because you exibit so much humanity & of course it comes right back. You recognise others contributions & that giving back to society is both important and rewarding. A total win win result. As someone else has written a light in dark times. Thank you

Core memory unlocked for those kids in a big way. Young lives forever altered for the better because you had a dream and decided to take a chance. I'm going to call it now but one of those kids is going to be crew sometime in the future.
There is no place like home!!

As a young man I was introduced to sailing at the age of 12 by a family friend. I joined sea cadets, and learned so much about the ocean. That experience shaped my life profoundly. I now own a marine based business and have my own boats. I really enjoyed seeing these kids experience this and it made me feel like a kid again myself.

Colin, the pedestals in the TV studio sequence gave me flashbacks to my 20+ years in the broadcast industry. I'm glad to see that TV studio hasn't gone the full automation route (yet). I think it would be safe to say you made the YEAR for those kids who went on the day sail with you guys.
