You'll love Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels just as much, it was created by the same guy who made this one and has a similar pacing and gangster style setting.
5:35 It's a counter punch, those are the most dangerous punches since the opponent is not only diving into the punch and giving it more power, but since they aren't aware of it, they aren't bracing for it at all (completely defenseless) And yeah, out of all punches, those are the most likely to kill a man
Dasha, if you liked this one, try "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." Some of the same actors, and another comedic, British crime movie that has some very funny moments just like Snatch.
There is one scene where Brad Pitt went way off script. They loved it so it was added in. However, no one ever added the modifications to the script, so the guys doing the subtitles for the DVD release had no clue what he was saying. So at one point the subtitles are just a question mark.
Brick Top had some of the best lines in this movie.”No thank you Turkish I'm sweet enough.” And,”In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, come again.” If you think the Cockney accents of this film were hard to understand at times, then you should hear a Doric speaker talking in English. Utterly incomprehensible.🤷♂️ P.S. Thank you for the Russian translations.
Oh my my my, this one is a classic. Don't worry I had to watch several times to finally figure out the lingo. I have seen so many times and it's just as good every watch. Great reaction Dasha...
Dennis Farina was really great in this movie and had some fantastic lines like, "Tony, do something terrible," or answering the question if he had anything to declare, "Yeah, don't go to England!" You've gotta love this movie!
When Guy Ritchie made Lock, Stock & Two Smoking barrells a lot of Hollywoof critics complained they couldn't understand the accents or cockney rhyming slang and wanted him to add subtitles. Apparently the reason for Brad Pitts pikey accent is that Ritchie thought it would be funny if in his next film he had an American actor that had an incomprehensible accent that the British characters couldn't understand!😄 N.B. Brad Pitt loved Lockstock so much that he contacted Ritichie and told him if he did a similar film he wanted to be in it. Ritichie couldn't afford Brad's normal fee so he worked for the same amount as the other actors. This was also the film that made Jason Statham.
1:56 in Avengers Infinity War Thanos asked The Collector (played by the same actor Benicio Del Toro) 'where is the stone?' with the same 'sing-song' voice when he wanted one of the infinity stones.
Even before this movie started I knew she was going to say what language is that, because I still say that every time I watch it and I have a bunch of Irish friends, I don't even think Brad Pitt knew what he was saying. but this movie is so good I don't care that I don't understand every word. And btw, as much as you love dogs, you should watch Marley & Me (2008) it's a cute Romance Comedy and it's based on a true story. Always love your reactions
I missed this movie in theaters (I was very busy with school), so when it came out on VHS I probably watched this movie every week for at least a year. Everytime I watch it, I can't remember why I stopped watching it in the first place. I'm still waiting for the proper soundtrack to be released because that flute is fire.
I was a Brad Pitt fan from minute one. And I don't know why except that when I was young, and still, I had a love for pop culture and big movies and big TV shows and of course big actors and the movies they make and I also became a huge fan of the behind-the-scenes stories about the movies I have watched. Se7en and Fight Club have been in my top five favorite movies and new movies of come along to replace them.
Fight Club has been my number one since I first watched it. Many movies come close, but even after watching it so many times, I would still pick it first to watch if I had any choice. The Matrix came very close.
Your reactions are always amazing. Love this movie and I've watched a few reactions to it and you are the only one I've seen that actually has my favorite line ... at least on their TH-cam channel ... "I'm sweet enough" ... thank you for that. ❤😂
This film was made by the same Guy who made "Lock, stock, and 2 smoking barrels". His name is Guy Ritchie. Snatch is amazing. Lock Stock is also very fun to watch. You should absolutely put it on your channel at some point.
Been a while since I have seen this movie. Good reaction to this movie you are talking straight facts at 25:15 in your review after reacting to this movie. Perfect comparison at 23:27 you read my mind.
Oooookay, who corrupted my sweet, innocent darling Dasha!!!?? 😉😊 BTW dont you love when the movie delights her so much she simply squeaks!! Thatssss what sheeee said!!! 🤓
As others recommended. Check out Lock, Stock and Two Barrels. Same director. Similar style. The movie jumpstarted Jason Stathams career. And it has Bulletproof Tony in it once again. Who by the way is a former british first division soccer/football player. Guy was sent off 12 times in his career which is pretty high
ive watched a few of your film and music posts in the past , i love your accent , and you post good stuff , im michael from uk, keep up the good work x
Another movie came out about the same time, made in America, with John Travolta and the same white haired character from this. It's stupid and rediculousness and funny and jumps around. Look for, Get Shorty! It's about a low level mob gangsta who decides to go to Hollywood and be a big time film producer! And honestly u could add the movie, True Romance, was wild and all over the place like this, with lots of characters, it's just got a more Tarantino flavor to it...proly cuz Tarantino helped write it, before he got known. Guy Ritchie movies are usually quite different!
the irony of the statement that artificial diamonds are worth nothing, is that diamonds worth are artificially kept up. they are not very rare, but the supply is strictly controlled to keep its value up
Great movie, also suggest Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrels, Guy Ritchie’s debut film w/Jason Statham Edit: heard somewhere they had to replace the original dog because he kept biting his co stars. The scene in the car was a real scene with the first dog(7:19)
since a lot of the humor is dialogue-based, i was worried she wouldn't like it because of all the accents, but i'm glad i was wrong :) love this movie and glad she enjoyed it
That was such a fun reaction 😄 Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels came out before this film and is well worth your time. Also the Vinnie Jones version of Mean Machine is of a similar vein. Well done as always 👏 👏👏👏
Guy Ritchie's early films (Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels and Snatch) were FAMOUS for doing the whole "jump-cut scene set-up" that introduced a TON of characters, all involved in their own little "moments' that somehow or another seem to completely continue to "circle each other" until the finale of the movie (story) when it all just "blows up in one massive mess". And doing this type of story-telling with some really good humor (verbally or physically) when you expect it to be a bit more serious, only to turn the funny moments serious with a bit of unexpected consequences that makes the moment even funnier than it was before. These 2 movies REALLY changed careers for a lot of people as far as being a director, writer and in some cases the actors themselves. And yet, they seem to hold up FAR BETTER than later films that follow the same "format". Maybe it was because of being younger and on a "lower budget" they were focused more on making sure to get the 'specific points across', or maybe it was the fact that they were "underdog films". Whatever the reason, later movies just didn't quite have the same impact as these 2.. even though they are still rather good and enjoyable on their own.
😂 definitely not why watch that when this was head and shoulders better lock stick and two barrels is more fun to watch if you are from that time and area snatched is better for the rest of the world
@@impulsivereply9360 I just stated my opinion. Snatch is probably more complicated story-wise, but I don't understand your comment about Snatch being more globally atractive. What is it based on ?? It's just your opinion, just like mine.
@@impulsivereply9360 and about not watching it. These are two different movies, but both are masterfull. Just because one is more liked or rated, it doesn't take anything away from the second. I find Lock, Stock to be underrated, even though it's very rated. I believe, it's Guy's progression that you can observe by watching Lock Stock first and Snatch second.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is from the same director and also stars Jason Statham. Other movies worth checking out by the same director are The Gentlemen (with Matthew McConaughey) and The Man From U.N.C.L.E (which stars Henry Cavill)
One of my favourite movies ever. Every time you rewatch it you pick up on something else. Now you need to watch RockNRolla, The Gentleman, and Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels which are similar Guy Ritchie movies
On the subject of accents, you have the cutest Russian accent I have ever heard. Your voice is so wonderful to listen to.
I’ve watched this movie about 30 times and it’s the first time I understand what Boris was saying 🫡thanks
You'll love Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels just as much, it was created by the same guy who made this one and has a similar pacing and gangster style setting.
Also, RocknRolla. Another great Guy Ritchie film.
I LOVE Rocknrolla… So underrated
Also The Gentleman, as it is basically the Hollywood version of Snatch
i love that dasha translates the russian. nobody does it better.
I love when Dasha comments on "Russian Accents!"
The dog is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

really? I gotta check that out, that's hilarious.
the dog jumping up, ? when they were waitng to hare course
One of my favorites. You can be sure if it's a Guy Ritchie movie you won't be disappointed.
She can probably miss Swept Away.
@@jchen3 I haven't seen that one.
@@FollowingGhost You lucky lucky person....
Oh man, 😂 I love it when Dasha got so scared for the dog! 😂😂😂 she really cares about every animal. 😊 I like this movie too девочка
I love how protective Dasha is over movie dogs
agreed
dahgs
No one wants to see a dog hurt. At least no friend of mine.
Of all the characters in this film, the woman working the bets was my favorite. She just didn't give AF!
I mean, when all bets are off, what can you do, right?
Brick Top had some of the best lines in this movie.”No thank you Turkish I'm sweet enough.” And,”In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, come again.”

The Gentlemen. A very recent Guy Ritchie movie that's quite good.
The dogs a Staffordshire bull terrier also known as a staffy.

I still use "I'm sweet enough" whenever it fits the conversation.
I am a native English speaker and I cannot watch this movie unless subtitles are enabled. Good luck!
The best is when Pitt starts talking pikey really fast and the subtitles just show "?????" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
the dog is a ''staffy ,,', stafordshire bull terrier, very good reaction
