Brad Pitt was INSANE in this role. This is definitely the perfect film for this channel. Guy Ritchie style is just so damn good, and this movie was PERFECT for it. Hannah feels right at home LOL
I refuse to believe that he's dead: merely in a coma until the bullet is surgically removed from his skull. Then he wakes up and goes on 20+ years of underworld adventures like a hilarious John Wick.
One my all time favourite characters is Brick Top. He's so funny and yet so menacing. Every time he gets pissed off you can just feel yourself curling into a little ball without him having to say a word, but when he does say something it's always a freaking gem. Vinnie Jones as Tony and Alan Ford as Brick Top both did such a phenomenal job on this movie.
As Brits I knew that you two would love this movie. It’s easily one of my top 10 favourite movies of all time! Every time I watch you lot react, it takes me back to the overall 16 years I spent living in the UK, those were some of the very best years of my life!
I'm a first-gen American with British and Irish roots and I loved the hell out of this reaction. I've never had a problem understanding the accents in the movie, but so many of my friends think it's all gibberish. Fuck that noise. It's authentic Pikey gibberish. 😝
@@stevey5151 Exactly. I'm American and many of us still have seen these movies. They're classics in the genre. This couple showed a lot of enthusiasm and high energy, and that's something, but there's zero chance I buy at least one of them hasn't seen it before...It was more performance than reaction. The "predictions" from Ash, especially, were always accurate as well, weren't they? lol
Guy Ritchie is Britain's Tarantino. He's an amazing director and writer. You should definitely check out The Gentlemen as well as all of his other movies.
Something I found in this movie over time - most characters are stuck in their own type of crime, and find it difficult to stray from it: - Turkish works in the illegal boxing world, but doesn't like rigging the fights. - Saul and Vince are thieves, but "not butchers" and are shocked at Boris's suggestion to "just chop it off". They never kill anyone in the movie, yet the only ones busted for murder. - Tony kills people, but finds it unthinkable to harm the dog. - Avi is used to telling other bad guys what to do, but doesn't think to get his hands dirty himself (and flees right after he does) Bricktop, Boris, and Micky are the wildcards. They'll do anything.
Finally! Reactors who REALLY appreciate this movie! I’m a gal from Ohio and I was so obsessed with this movie when it came out, but nobody in my circle liked it as much. It’s so good to see people really enjoying it! Side note: Have you two watched the film In Bruges? That’s another one I like a lot. Not as chipper as this one, but still has some one liners I think will break Ash from laughter.
He's also good in Fightclub, Seven, Interview With The Vampire, Inglorious Basterds, Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, and of course his greatest film to date: Deadpool 2. What I'm getting at is he's just a really good actor lol.
Guy Ritchie is great. Locked, Stocked, and 2 smoking barrels is a must. Also is Jason Statham's first film, Guy found him selling stuff on the street like you see in the opening scene. In fact they said he improvised the lines lol Can't wait for more, yall are an amazing couple.
This movie is in my all-time top 20, maybe 10... Guy is an UNBELIEVABLE writer/director... Y'all have GOTTA check out "The Gentleman" and "Lock Stock" 💜
Just saw this for the first time a couple months ago after years and years trying to watch it lol. Just couldn’t understand some important stuff without subtitles. I give this movie 10/10 I’m so happy you both enjoyed it. Once I could understand everyone and put together what was going on, this blew me away. Idk what anyone could do to make this one better than it is.
The Lady that worked in the bookies that you both loved was a PE teacher when she filmed this role. Can you imagine how well behaved her class was after this lol.😄😄
That's probably why she was so good at this role, working with that many kids doing physical stuff she's used to remaining calm and projecting authority during chaos and nonsense
Couldn't have thought of a better way to spend my birthday than to binge your videos. Love yall you really help with my depression and sadness, you all are too real and I love it! keep it up!
I don't know if it's in all editions of the movie, but the one I used to own, when you turned on subtitles/closed captions, it would show what Mickey was saying. Except before the hare courting scene, right when he starts describing all the features he wants for his mom's caravan, the captions just went "?????????????" lol
The diamond was 86 carat at the start of the film. When the bloke from the USA was on the phone, then at the end, Turkish said the vet retrieved 84 carat diamonds from the dog, so 2 carats were missing.
Rock ‘n’ Rolla is another great Guy Ritchie film with a great cast. Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels is also great as well as Mean Machine with many of the cast of Snatch in it as well.
21:36 "Pull your socks up!" Always loved that line. So... English. This, lock stop and many other films showed the Americans how you continue QT's crime genre with your own touch. Make it personal they way he did.
I remember 2 years ago asking, no, begging you for guys to watch this. I honestly didn't think it would happen, needless to say this made my day ash. Thank you both brother.
This is one you get for your personal Movie Library. Now you need to see Guy Ritchie's LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS (1998), which is actually a prequel to this.
This is great! I have watched a lot of people react to this movie this is the first time I've watched somebody from the country this movie takes place it react to this movie. A lot of the people who react to at least turn the subtitles on cuz they can't understand what people are saying. The first time I watched it I had to well I just watched it enough time to where I now know what everybody is saying, but I truly didn't first couple times I watched it. You to know exactly what everyone says and you live at least in the same country or this movie takes place which gives you such a different perspective. Can I say that you two seem like a great couple? I swear i can see a true connection between you two. Carry on.
This is my favourite guy Richie film... superb story and sound track.... top notch.... keep up these reactions , your my favourite reactors by far... love you both 😃😃
Interesting fact, those blank firing replicas are fairly easily converted into live fire which is a common way in the UK and EU countries for criminals to get guns. So if someone ever pulls one on you don't just laugh it off.
It was so fun watching your reaction to one of my most favorite movies! I recommended it to another reactor couple and felt bad because at the end one of them didn’t understand the movie and didn’t seem very happy about it. Lol. So I haven’t recommended it since! I love the plot twists, the acting, the dark humor, the action… all of it was spot on for me! I’m happy you guys enjoyed it. 🥳💐

I second this. Idk why but people really skip tf over that movie for some reason and it's just as good if not better than Snatch.
@@Stuffthatsfunny1Agreed, one of my personal favorite Guy Ritchie movies.
“In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, come again?”
One of the best lines in film.
I use that in perfect moments and always catch people off guard.
well she was a "virgin" LOL
Maybe the best
''In the quiet words of the virgin Mary...Come again?'' has got to be one of the best jokes ever written, anywhere.
Brad Pitt was INSANE in this role.

Hannah feels right at home LOL
He had that accent perfect

Tyrone showed up for a job as a security guard on set, having never acted. 😂
too perfect. He's scowling the WhOLE time. LOL

The Virgin Mary line kills me everytime as well, the delivery is so deadpan it's brilliant.
The part in the car where the dog was savaging Sol's coat was real - the dog hated Lennie James
