As a track and field enthusiast and a former runner, you're doing an amazing job. You're knowledgeable and informative, and your opinions are sound and solid. Thank you for all that you do! We see you.😊
Adeleke ran her 49.07 in the Europeans and she said she was on a very small taper and pretty much training through the comp, so with a full taper and good prep I think she can run a lot quicker than she has so far
Based on what has happened this season and last season, I have Price - Gold, she has shown amazing strength and determination this season and has out run Paulino all year, I think Paulino-Silver, she tough experienced and will rise to the occasion, and Kaczmarek - Bronze, Natalia is strong and has run amazing this season running sub-49 twice this year, and never losing to Adeleke, who put as 4th.
These are the races I'm most looking forward to. So much talent! And we've already had some dramatic races this year. Adeleke vs. Kaczmarek at Euros was brilliant, and so was Nickisha Pryce in London.
Ireland for gold in 400m Rhasidat is going to run 48 seconds and shock the World, and get us our first ever Gold medal, all that Cold Irish weather training in Tallaght when she was a kid will get her over the line , Cmom Rhasidat🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️, we will be cheering on from New York!!!!
Until I see it. I have Gardner for Gold once he's in the finals. Matthew Husdon Smith silver and Hall bronze. Hudson Smith can win and I wouldn't be surprised but Gardner will be in the mix either way.
Steven Gardiner for gold. I know not a lot of ppl are confident in his ability to win but he has always been that silent assassin. Also, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, she has won global titles injured before. I am not discounting her. Go BAHAMAS🇧🇸🔥🇧🇸🔥🇧🇸🔥🇧🇸

Appreciate you! Certain videos I add photos, interviews, articles and stuff, but no race footage in my videos for safety from copyright. But really do appreciate you watching!
For me if Smith stays healthy really good chance of winning as this is the very first year healthy and 3 pbs plus his first sub 44 is 43.72 so maybe can go faster plus i think he will really want it as multiple injuries over the past few years and coming back from a really dark place to where he is now
You picked Adeleke over Kazmareck? Just because Adeleke spoke about being disappointed about not making it on the podium at World Champs doesn’t mean anything. We can all wish and want, but at the end of the day Adeleke has never won an individual medal on the global stage, while Kazmarek has won several individual medals and had beaten Adeleke every single time. And, she ran her down yet again for a third time. Potential is great, but performing consistently at your best when it matter is what counts.
For women's 400, your analysis made a lot of sense until you casually picked Rhasidat Adeleke for bronze and one of the reasons you gave was that she would be disappointed if she didn't make the top3. I mean, seriously?🙄(as if anybody would be happy with missing the podium). Please tell me this is some gimmick to generate more comments . Not to mention that 1) Natalia has not lost against her ever (she's 4:0 vs Rhasidat) 2) N. broke 49s twice this year already (Adeleke didn't manage that and she had a chance this month) 3) Adeleke's potential for the future, while undeniable, doesn't help her that much in an event that's going to unfold in just a couple of days (+her jumping back and forth between 100, 200 and 400 is not ideal either)
Adeleke did not taper for Europeans and she also ran 2 tough mixed relays so she has plenty of potential to run v fast time. Natalia has also been brilliant this year so will be fascinating. Result might depend on who gets easier semi final.
@@paolomc9134 Natalia was also in heavy training and her coach is preparing her to peak at the Olympics, but that's not the point. There is clear bias in favor of athletes who are either from US/Jamaica or train there. Anyway, 400m will be a blast and I expect Pryce and Paulino to have a battle for 1-2 and Kaczmarek vs Adeleke to race until the last metres for 3rd (fully expect all 4 to break 49s).
Natalia Kaczmarek is just underrated. Last year it looked almost the same. She had a great season, but despite this, before the World Championships in Budapest not many people considerd her a medal contender.
Where the men are concerned, I would like to see Matthew get gold after such an injury plagued career. He has finally been able to stay mostly fit for a few seasons and make the progress he could have been making years ago. If Steven can stay fit and finish the race, it's difficult to make a case against him winning and Quincy has made as good a case for winning gold as MAtthew. With that in mind. 1. Hall 43.72 2. Gardiner 43.86 3. Hudson-Smith 44.02 4. Doom 44.09 5. Norman 44.26 6, Morales-Williams 44.35 7. Richards 44.58 8. James 44.87 9. Bailey 45.04 For whatever reason I'm not really a fan of Marileidy, but she has been very good at winning for the past couple of seasons and the previous years when she got silver was behind Miller-Uibo at the peak of her career. I would love to see Nickisha win, but she's had a long NCAA season and most NCAA athletes don't perform at their best in the global champioships. Natalia and Rhasidat have both had some great performances this year, but haven't performed at their best every race. I agree that Rhasidat has a very high ceiling, although I think Nickisha could be equally high. With so many women running sub 50 this year, it's very difficult to call, but... 1. Paulino 48.57 2. Kaczmarek 48.92 3. Adeleke 48.99 4. Price 49.03 5. Klaver 49.38 6. Ellis 49.55 7. Naser 49.62 8. Anning 49.85 9. Williams 49.89
Those are good picks!! I think Matt is really coming into form and this may be his year as he just keeps getting faster and faster. Gardiner is a wild card since there are so many IFs. I just had to pick the solid consistency this year that we have seen from others. Women is ver competitive, but as you said, Paulino is consistent and barely ever loses. It will be interesting to see how Pryce responds to the rounds after a long year in the NCAA. But yea very competitive fields!
No disrespect, but it's a bit wild you are making picks to the hundredth of a second, while the actual results will vary depending not only on the athlete's form of the day, but also weather conditions, how fast the track is, managing fatigue between rounds, small injuries (ones we may not even hear about, but can change the result) etc etc. Then on top of that you e.g. choose Quincy Hall to easily beat his PB, while putting MHS ~0.3s behind his PB in the best season of his life?
@@ArekB_84 As I said, where Matthew is concerned, I'm being a pessimistic Brit. Yes, everything you said is correct, but all these things apply to where people will finish or, if they will even make the finals. Not mad at thoes picks! Not always about times though which is why I pick Paulino. She always wins year after year, race after race. Shes only lost 4 races in the past 4 years, two of those to Shaune in 2021 and 2022. So she wont go down without a fight to the line!
