Welcome to the world of Rush. Greatest rock band of all time. 3 monster musicians at the very top of their craft and this album was their last, released 38 years after their first album.
FYI, this is a fan created video. This album, Clockwork Angels, was released in 2012, when all 3 were 60 years old, and were still doing 3 hour long concerts. Watch them perform La Villa Strangiato, a 9 minute instrumental, at the Cleveland Time Machine tour 2011.
Brilliant track off the final brilliant album from Rush, Clockwork Angels... what a run they had... can't believe it has already been 10 years since that record...
This account has THE BEST RUSH FAN VIDS EVER!!!! My favorite Rush song is The Camera Eye and Still Kickin has one for that too that is so so so great. Rush showcases every member on every song. Pay attention to THAT!!!
For three men in their 60’s to produce a song like this and a final album as ‘Clockwork Angels’ is a testament to their talent, their standards and their refusal to remain stagnant or predictable. Their final album can be argued to be the most complete and accomplished of their entire 40 year journey.
I have been a diehard Rush fan for over 40 years and this is one of my favorites. If this song doesn’t get your heart pumping you must be dead already.
RUSH they do what it says on the tin and did it at this level for 40 plus years nobody like them now in the past or in future which is why their fans adore them and fact they are 3 of the most modest and likeable guys in rock helps too, I really miss them
One of my favorite bands since high school! They had a 50-year career, from 1968 - 2018, so it’s hard to know what to suggest, but if you like this sound especially, I would say probably their 2000s and 2010s albums would be to your taste.
I have wait since sooo long for RUSH to comeback from their 90's synth era , this track is showcasing them at their best , a killer rock band with a slight prog edge and sometimes even punky . Big Fly By Night era inspiration but with a modern production and also a more experienced band.
Rush is a three piece iconic Canadian band from Toronto Geddy Lee Vocals, Bass and Keyboards Alex Lifeson Guitar, Mandola and later keyboards Neil Peart drums, percussion and main lyrist I would suggest One Little Victory live in Rio Caravan from the Time Machine Tour Far Cry Cheers
I'm a bass player. I played bass and keys for several Rush Tributes. (If you search for 'Spindrift Central Texas Tribute to Rush' you'll see me in those vids.) I can play a lot of different artist's music... Yes, Grand Funk, STP... and more. But Geddy's bass playing is unique. His emphasis on expression in timing and note shaping makes his bass playing more musical in a way that few others can compare to. It also makes his stuff the most fun to play. This song is especially fun because it's constantly driving. And what we've seen in this band and their music is a thing that we'll probably never see again. Sad as that is.
Wow! Loved your reaction and commentary on this song! Many of RUSH's songs allow the 3 members to shine. for a slightly more "mellow" but equally epic song, try "Natural Science" from the album, PERMANENT WAVES. Thanks much for this one! 🏆🏆🏆
One of the craziest videos, if u watch it on big screen it takes u on a crazy ride the music was good but not the greatest RUSH music, but really captured the video.
Welcome to Rush. Now try some of their back-catalog - there's only 40 years worth to pick from, and out of all of it, you're not likely to find more than a couple of "clinkers". I personally count 2112 as being one of their absolute best, some will give that nod to Moving Pictures, others will say it's Permanent Waves. No matter which way you turn in "Rush-ville", there's something good to be found. Thanks for the music, Neil - you're missed. RIP.
This was one of my favorite bands growing up. First album I listened to was A Farewell to Kings and was hooked. Check out some of their longer epics like Xanadu, Cygnus X-1, Bytor and the Snow Dog, Natural Science, and the 2112 suite. Neil Peart may be the best drummer ever. Another band to check out is Dream Theater.
A problem I have with this particular visual to this song is: if you are watching it, you aren’t hearing it. This eonf is meant to be listened to. Close your eyes and see your own visuals. Get caught in the music and hear the lyrics.

Right there with you. Managed to catch the tour twice and can't believe how fast time has flown ever since!
They’re definitely masters of their respective instruments and playing together for decades you get a masterpiece like this.

Check out Rush's song Freewill (studio version). There is a simultaneous bass and guitar solo that is amazing!
Magnificent !

2112
Not the original video. This is from some fan using the music. Nice lyric and drum-dynamic analysis.
Sei sempre più BELLA😍
songs n thongs gave ya a shout out
The video is fan-made and Rush has nothing to do with it
This is only 3 guys
Why are you doing a review on video nothing to with rush. 😂
The song has nothing to do with the visuals
