Wow, this seemed like such a simple thing to me, but i knew when i couldnt figure it out myself i would have a hard time finding a tutorial just showing this simple thing.. Thank you so much for the quick and helpful tutorial! Liked and Subbed
Agreed. Great Work!. That color ramp Scene render properties tip - ambiance occulusion, bloom, and screen space reflections - just upped my game. Thanks Infinte Digital.
hey bro, thanks for the tutorial. Do you if it's possible to export gradient texture nodes into FBX? whenever i export it into FBX, the materials which gradient nodes become white only, i have been trying to find a solution for last 3 hours but couldnt.
Hey mate. I’m no expert at exporting objects but I believe you need to bake the material to a single image texture first. Search Blender material baking on TH-cam. Hope that helps

Do you have a good video on how to UV map when doing the gradient texture?
nice direct and precise tutorial! very appreciated, thanks!👍
The video is pretty clear and easy to follow. I was using a deprecated shading one, that's why i looked for another tutorial and found this one.
Cheers for that...great easy set up...love it
Thank you ! I liked that you provided tips and explanations of different functions as you progressed through the tutorial. Great Job sir!
Excellent basic tutorial for color gradient shading. Thanks
Excellent, thanks. This also works for Volumes created in primitives. If you stick to greyscale, you can have the volume fog at certain levels.

you can click shift A to add a node easier
Thanks for sharing, can I use this method with TEXT object?
I think so. Might need to convert to a mesh first.
I had not seen the rgb node in a gradient set up before--good tip!

@infiniteDigital thank you so much, this helped me with my work project and my renders turned out great. Well great for me and my skill level...

Obrigado mesmo! Não achava um lugar pra aprender controlar o gradiente, já estava ficando louco. você foi o melhor! Mesmo em inglês consegui entender.
U helped me soo much! Thank you
Thanks for tutor. Wanna know how bake that material into texture.
There are some very good baking tutorials on TH-cam already but I could also do one myself in future.
I always forget this nodes so I comeback lately to watch this video again lol
Hmm... maybe I goofed, I need a gradient along 2 axes. But I learned a lot from this!

Thanks so much
FANTASTIC!
My only issue is the appearance doesn't persist once I return to Layout mode and I'm a total Blender noob, haha.
Just kidding. Figured it out by toggling viewport shading from "solid" to "material preview". Thanks!
thanks! it helped :D
thanks, very simple
thank you so much! this works so well :D
thanks a lot, just what I need, you have a new sub
Hello pal. Thank you for your amazing tutorial!
I have a question though: How can we export a mesh WITH the gradient in it?
You’d need to bake the texture to an image. There’s lots of tutorials for baking textures on here
@@infinitedigital6650 Ill watch one later, thanks alot for responding!
Thank you.
tysm! :D
THANK YOU!
Thank you so much
thanks big and big !!!
Does the object needs to be on a certain element/compund?

@@infinitedigital6650 will check it out, thanks
Can this also work for individual parts of a model? For example assign a material to only an arm and then do it
Yes. You may need to tweak some settings but it should work
Thanks!
Que buen tutorial
