I wish there was a video for Groove Agent in Cubase.
There’s gotta be someone on TH-cam who’s made a ton of cubase videos, I swear every DAW got someone making videos about it.
I'm sure there is a few out there, back in the day I had cubase 5 and I found videos on that version of Groove Agent, I'm sure they got videos on the current versions out there somewhere
Thank you sir
Thank you for watching fam happy to help out the workflow 🙏🏿
thank you!
Thank you for watching. Appreciate you 🙏🏿
This was awesome and fire beeat wow! So glad you kept to be playing in the end as other people just cut off and won't show you what they just worked on haha
I do have a question, do you know if there's a way to transpose a sample into another key that you can do on Serato or am I better off just getting Serato for that? Appreciated
Serato is a solid plugin. Especially with the stem separating built in. If you left click on your sample you should see a transpose option, before you chop. You can also change it within impact
@@darkus_prod When you transpose, does that change the key? And it's a shame as Serato just had 25% off and I missed it haha. Damn. Oh well, I'll just wait till it goes on special again
@LFiers yes it does, should be on sale soon it’s almost Black Friday 😊
Very good content sir. appreciate it
Appreciate the kind words fam 🙏🏿

This is dope, I’m running S1-3, will this method work for me???
I’m not sure I only got into studio one maybe six months into version 4. I think it’ll work impact is there test out the steps and let us know. 🙌🏿
nice song
Thanks fam🙏🏿
been searching for this since months ty brother
Happy to help the workflow fam 🙏🏿
I love Studia One as a DAW but serato sample is a way better for my work flow
Can’t front there stem separation is game changing. I’ve used it before for some Griselda type beats too
Nice chill...
Thanks for listening. I really appreciate it 🙏🏿
Thanks my dude
Thank you! Subscribed!
Thanks fam appreciate it 🙏🏿
💎💎💎
Thanks fam 🙏🏿
Thank you much! Can I record my own snare or percussion as an example, and assign them to pads? Newb question, I know.
It’s as simple as dragging your audio to an blank impact. As long as the file location doesn’t change you can save it as a preset within impact
No such thing as a noob question these DAW are sophisticated as hell 😂
@darkusprodTV That is sweet! Of course I'm expecting a learning curve, but if it's a simple as you described, this will be a blast. I was looking at the Akai mini MPK as my midi controller. Do you have one you would suggest?
awesome video bro!!!!!
Thanks fam, appreciate it, happy to help out workflow 🙏🏿
Can you load a song from Apple library
Btw. If you happen to find a “perfect 16 chop sample” you can replace all steps he did with one macro short cut.
I actually added one too Ivan Calderon producer tool bar, he’s a wizard with S1 and a massive inspiration 🙏🏿
hey man thanks! Did you record the guitar?
Not for this specific sample, this I think was from a drum broker pack, I have too many tbh with you 😂
What would you recommend for samples not beeing playing on grid?
thanks subbed
I know this is random on what I’m about to say but man I love doing music!
Does anyone else have a problem with impact xt stretching the timing and giving the wrong tempo?
When chopping samples into impact there is a follow tempo option and I can’t remember if by default it is disabled.
@@darkus_prod I enable it but random times it will slow the audio file really off tempo, this usually happens when I crop the audio within impact xt. I dont have this problem with sertato. I really would rather use native plugins.
Peep my video on sample chopping, also Ivan Calderon created a producer tool bar with a 1/4 note and 1/2 note auto chop
Merciiii no need mpc
is that a sample from studio one?
Unfortunately No
I learned something... Can teach a old dog...
It’s all about getting to your idea out faster, glad I could help the workflow 🙏🏿
ableton is best for sampling, intuitive and fast
Brother I just got a push 2 and booted Ableton Live and I am blown away with the audio manipulation and the stock fx. Wow
Set up micros and key commands, much faster workflow. Great video Bro
@rodneyfordsr.3545 should probably do an updated video I’ve been using Ivan Calderons Producer Tool bar, 3 clicks and the sample is chopped up with cross fades in place in Impact XT awaiting the choke group
That is not fun at all, maschine does it faster better n more fun
Big Facts, I was gifted a MK2 years ago from my older brother. That’s how I started chopping. I should do an update video since it’s now a simple macro button press. 🔥🫡
@@darkus_prod yes, make the video
Thanx but no thanx I don’t not use samples I like to use real instruments.
Keep it locked and you’ll see how I use real instruments to make samples and using this technique
Don’t be a boomer. You realize you can resample your own music to create something new and interesting right?
