    Y'all wouldn't believe it but BTS was supposed to debut as a hip-hop group but the group ventured in different music genres overtime. Their heavy hip-hop tracks really go HARD. They're not a joke. From Cyphers to their mixtape. They're beasts!!! You should check out UGH Explained by DKDKTV to appreciate their lyricism in their songs.

    BTS music have deeper and serious meanings. when they write and compose it, the words comes from their thoughts and emotions towards social diseases and personal turmoil that's why it brings enlightenment, comfort, hope, awakening and all the reactions and impact a sincere message should bring. BTS are amazing lyricists and producers. they even have a song about a whale but it also pertains to them and their ARMYs as well. BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!

This video explains it very well.

    As a Kpop stan, I can sense that this song makes reference about the past tragedies that happened a few years ago with some Kpop stars. (I don’t want to mention the word specifically because it still hurts me) you can see this more clear in Jhope’s verse

    that's another reason bts is so popular: they been calling out issues, that could literally get you blacklisted in korea, since debut. suga even said in an interview that "it isn't a bts album if there isn't a track criticizing society"
    also talking about mental health is very taboo in asian cultures especially in korea and the fact they're so open about it is admirable.

    • @KissMeStarlight
      @KissMeStarlight 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I’m glad they are bringing up issues but please pay respect to those who’ve already brought up and have sung about these things. BTS just got more done because of their popularity. Now if Korea can see to opening their hearts to the LGBTQ community and to darker skinned Koreans

    Without anger, there would be no social change. The civil rights movement, women’s rights movement, etc. all change comes from someone being angry about the status quo. That is good anger. Bad anger is displaced upon innocent people - workplace violence, domestic violence, mass shootings, social media, etc. There is nothing positive that comes from displaced anger.

  • @royalstoria4477
    @royalstoria4477 3 ปีที่แล้ว +19

    The aggressiveness in their voice is what makes their rapping hit so much harder.
    When its an emotional rap or like UGH! an angry, fuck you type of rap other then lyrics, their tone and voice is what makes people feel the song unlike with vocal songs where its strongly relying on execution of the vocals (as well as lyrics).
    Its why J-Hope, RM and Suga are such excellent rappers. Depending on what the feel of the song is they know what to do with their voices and how much attitude or raw emotion to put into the song.

    DKDKTV Explained by a Korean for UGH and DDAENG please!

  • @minbeomu
    @minbeomu 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    A more detailed explanation that is specifically relevant.
    Is instead of using anger to shit on someone like the trolls, antis and haters in the internet why not direct that anger towards REVOLUTION? Anger is such a powerful emotion that can create movements and revolutions. Yet you waste your anger on petty things like hatred that ruins others and spreads negativity.
    An example of anger that creates movements is the Black Lives Matter movement, the Stop Asian Hate, and every single country that ever OUSTED anyone. All of it started because of ANGER.
    Anger because we are done sitting around and watching our fellow brothers and sisters suffer in the hands of oppressors.
    Which is why I love this song.
    Hell yes be angry, BE VERY ANGRY AS YOU SHOULD!

    Every song of theirs tells a story or explains a cause. That’s what makes their entire catalogue GREAT! Please don’t take this the wrong way about their song Dynamite, but in order to have a #1 hit in America, they literally had to dumb a song down for America to enjoy it. I love dynamite and the energy it gives but compared to their other songs, Dynamite was dumbed down for America to meet them as artists.

    the somg is about using anger in the wrong way. using anger towards unnecessary things such as hating on a person for no reason instead of using anger for historical change

    This track slapped so hard I wanted to rob my fucking house after listening to it for the first time.
    Please do a reaction about it's explanation. The song slaps but tell message slaps harder

    I HIGHLY AND SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THE DKDKTV EXPLANATION VIDEO ON THIS SONG BECAUSE IT IS INSIGHTFUL. THESE LYRIC VIDEOS ARE OFTEN VERY BASIC IN THEIR TRANSLATIONS AND FAIL TO CONVEY MEANING, SYMBOLISM, NUANCES AND MANY OTHERS 🙏🙏🙏
