Jhopes concept was about his relationship with work. Being a workaholic, feeling restless when not working, he called it his disease. It’s was something he was struggling with during the pandemic last year because suddenly his work life changed.
True, all of them were, but espec. the prolific rapline. Hobi produced one of my fav. BTS songs😊

Dis-ease is like Top 2 on BE for me. It made me nostalgic for old Bangtan. And the RL really got to shine. I love Hobi's voice and I think this is his longest verse on an OT7 song in like 5 albums. So it was nice.

This song came from jhope when he felt burn out cuz of the pandemic. The whole album is about all the emotions they felt during the pandemic ( the good ones , bad ones, the middle ones, etc) that's why it's called BE.

Taehyung is my ultimate. He pulled me in first with his character bc I saw his funny moments compilation first. Didn't know he was in BTS. 😅
Then saw him dance, saw his swag and facial expressions, took another step closer, then I heard him sing in "Hold me tight" live and I realized I was in love.
Then discover everyone else in bangtan and that's when I dived into the rabbit hole. 💜

One of my favorite of J-Hope songs
My ult is and will always be Seokjin (Jin). He's the one who got me into BTS with his personality and made me stay with his voice. Jin is my ult and I love all 7 of them (OT7!!). I do like a few other idols but no one on the level of BTS.
Also j-hope has always been my bias and i think will always be. Now i love the rest of them but Hobi for me just hits differently.
this production has 'hobi' all over it, i love his production style. but the lyrics and concept they went with was so relevant to today and like you said im constantly surprised with the messages they bring to light.

It's alright to hv multiple biases in one group..cuz see..Tae was my only bias in BTS cuz i connected to him more, his personality and all..but then Jimin's interaction with Tae and all BTS members, got me interested in him and his personality as well..then his talent and ofc his lovely personality just made him my bias with Tae..idk what y'all say but jimin choose me..so Tae and jimin are my ultimate bias in BTS and I'm OT7 stan as well..ya you can be ot7 while having a bias, cuz for me BTS is BTS with all 7 members and their equal amount of hardwork and talents..7 different flavours presenting an amazing dish/ 7 pieces of puzzles completing the puzzle and all 7 hv such unique attracting personalities to them..i can't help but love and respect them all as humans and artists..i love my 7 boys equally..so they all are my bias wreakers, but now in that bias wreaker's list RM..my joon is on the top...as i only stan BTS, idk about other k-pop groups and different biases, although I'm a casual listener to K-pop, but BTS just are on different level for me in their Artistry and genuiness that no other k-pop group is able to touch it for me atleast.. everything from their deep lyrics with different layers of meaning to their ongoing BU storyline in MV's, and their passion, their respect for their craft, their humble nature, their unbreakable genuine bond with each other, their unconditional love for their fans ie. Army and soo soo soo much more! 💜

I like hearing your thoughts on BTS’ songs. To answer your question: I love all BTS members. They all are inspirational people and have great individual personalities but Jungkook chose me a few years ago and is my favorite since 😅 He surprises me every time, he is mad talented and is capable of reaching every goal if he puts his mind into it because on top of his many talents he is a hard worker and a perfectionist. His passion, dedication and hard work is often left unnoticed because everything seems effortless when he is doing it. He taught me to try things out of my comfort zone without overthinking and ending up not doing it because society or the Ego tells so. On top of that I love his voice. It is smooth like butter and has a calming and comforting effect on me.
This song is absolutely amazing the message behind it is spot on! Hobi did so well on this one and the other members did their part and more they all killed it.🔥

Ok so basically...their disease is being workaholics. In late 2018 the group took a one month break. It was the first break of any significant length that they were allotted since their 2013 debut. It was obviously necessary for their mental, emotional, physical, and personal wellbeing, but they all agreed that it felt long and unnatural to not work for so long. They were in a state of “dis-ease” or not at ease because they couldn’t seem to fully relax.

I love that on this song both rap line and vocal line got to show off. The vocal line killed that bridge. And Sugas flow just hits differently on this track. And our Jhope produced this. Even without knowing you can tell that it got Jhope written all over it.

I have always been and will always be a RM bias! The way that man's brain maneuvers is a work of art. Don't even get me started on his "grown man" swagger from such an early age. He's also one of the few group "LEADERS" that actually live up to the name by pushing his group to achieve more and actively participating in their progression versus just having the title.

i think it's both since the entire album is based on the journey while quarantined cos of the pandemic... so it's a disease literally. but also, the dis-ease (or lack of ease) cos of anxiety due to pondering on the world's disease that's beyond the physical. many people are suffering from a sick (bad) way of living. but it depends on perspective - who's sick? those who are at ease with all this unease or those who still want to keep pushing despite it. just my thoughts. :)

Idk if someone has stated this but in RMs verse he uses "I'm ill" in 4 ways. Ill is English is both sick, as in diseased, and Ill as in cool. Whereas in Korean, it means "Il" as in one, and "il" as in work.
