- That is definitely a Halo 2 placeholder asset for the bubble shield lol. Also i forgot to mention that the Spartan Laser in this build is a Support weapon like the Turrets and that's why you cant melee with it in this build. Valhalla has an early Missile Pod that's in First Person.
So basically they turned the Laser into an actual Power Weapon and all the First person Support weapons got turned into a Third Person mode.
Also that leaning would have worked in Halo 3 ODST so I'm surprised they didn't add it to that, but i think it could have been due to time.

Leaning in halo? Glad that was not in the retail or beta. Itd been cool in ODST. Maybe it will get added to the Steam Workshop on MCC. Also cool to see all the Halo 2 placeholder assets before they were replaced to see the ideas they were going for before the beta officially came out. The history surrounding this game is so interesting. Thank you for sharing.

the bubble shield being a rolling ball would have changed the gameplay a LOT and that leaning should have been in SWAT gametype or ODST at least. Maybe they could bring it back via Mods in MCC? #BringModstoMCC #BringHaloModsToXbox
