FURLA. Why Is Nobody Talking About This Affordable Luxury Brand?

Why is this brand not talked about more when discussing brands such as Polene, Coach, and the others?
Anyone remember the name of this bag? It was bought in Singapore, in the early 2000s, either from Isetan, or Takashimaya.

CLARIFICATION:
I mentioned LVMH as a time marker for when the market did not have to compete with a profit driven conglomerate in the fashion industry. These days, independent fashion companies have to compete with more than one of those, which often resulted in business decisions not always favourable to end consumers.

Love Furla. Have a bag, wallet since mid-200s at least. Well-made, well-designed but I think the brand is better known in Europe than in North America.

Let’s hope smaller brands won’t keep trying to compete with LVMH in a race they can never win, and take a decisive position in the market where they can provide customers like us with alternatives to LVMH’s brands and prices.

It is a pity. It is good quality bags with tasteful designs. They are one of a few independent design houses too.
