Just a small detail about the Wanaka tree, It started life as a fence post. Remember it as a kid, there were more posts going into the lake and still had wire on it back then, we used to swim there as it was shallow and the water warmed up a bit in the summer.
Like I've said before, you have a gift that makes us all feel like we're hanging with an old friend in every one of your videos, and Riley only adds to that vibe in this one. Even though the vast openness of Aus is amazing in it's scale and beauty, I'm a mountain and water guy, so the scenery from the NZ south island is just epic. Thank you Molly. You two characters have fun and stay safe.

Completely agree. I have not seen half of my own backyard in Aus but really enjoy Molly's vlogs and have to say, took my family to Milford Sound a few years back and we did a cruise and slept on the boat overnight, an amazing experience. NZ is just a brilliant place as well. So blessed to have NZ on our doorstep and live in Aus. Keep up the great work Molly and Riley!!

around sec 12, I was there about a week ago (milford sound) quite honestly, the South Island is absolutely stunning. I have never seen landscapes that beautiful.

Molly, NZ is beautiful! That hike reminds me of hiking Maroon Bells in Colorado and the scenery reminds me of Alaska. Saw a few animals in the vid too. Nice work! Careful with the Cold Urticaria. I had a flare up last week holding a cold drink in my hand. Fingers swelled up and itched for about a half hour. Looking forward to seeing you rip it up snow boarding in next vid with Riley! The South Island is so beautiful. Have done the overnight boat trip on Doubtful Sound, was so cool. Also the bird in the 1st part of the video (Kia?) are so destructive, saw one once tear the rubber off the windscreen wiper blades. Another great video. G'day. Molly and Riley! Wow, wow and WOWWW! This is without doubt THE best 'travelogue' of NZ's South Island that I have ever seen! You must have some fantastic camera equipment to get such sharp, steady footage - even when recording from a boat or the van. It is almost beyond belief how well you display their country for them! Being a bit of a photographer myself, I'm 'into' sharp photos and video, and yours is just SUPERB in that regard! I can't believe you're not doing this professionally. Best wishes for the rest of your life 'on the road'. I'm subscribing right now.
While the landscapes you two were surrounded by were just wildly beautiful and how well you captured them, I couldn't stop thinking about how many laughs and how much trouble you and Riley get yourselves into when together, I got that vibe loud and clear 😆

Thank you for bringing back fond memories of the South Island for me. I was with Operation Deep Freeze in the early 80's and just love the NZ people and spectacular scenery! Would love to return there!
