    What type of mission should I do with the SSTO? :D

      1 ssto every planet? (no refueling and u bring everything u need for ur mission as a payload or go payloadless)

    When you need to carry an entire freight train into orbit in one go

    You know the rocket is ridiculus when in the intro it litterally has 2 saturn vs, strapped to its fuselage....

    holy shit, months of work to deliver probably the dumbest payload imaginable into orbit is the most kerbal thing ever

    "ayo get i get some payload?"
    "only an ssto-full"
    *pulls out comically large ssto*

    nice! working on a superheavy 2100 part cargo spaceplane right now as well and, having also already made a 2200+t to orbit ssto, I praise your patience with this one!

      Thanks, few truly know the struggle of making giant stock crafts! Also can't wait to see what you're working on, this pales in comparison to some of your creations!

    when you need to carry an xb-70 in the cargo bay, simply make xb-7000

      the Hanger Extender Extended mod very very useful for big stuff!

      @@smooneychad Tysm! I’ve been looking for something to construct my space stations with before I launch them.

    How much ram did you need to run this

    • @smooneychad
      @smooneychad  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Idk what the minimum amount would be but I'm running 64gb which is slight overkill, no game crashes though!

    your planning something this big in your latest ksp modded series?

    • @smooneychad
      @smooneychad  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably not to this scale because of how long it takes to launch but I’ll definitely be making some ones very soon close to this! Then again getting THAT much payload into LKO with a plane may be too valuable for me not to do eventually!

    • @Charles-7
      @Charles-7 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@smooneychad well i know you mentioned something about a mission to another system besides kerbol, so seeing a plane almost as large as this would be cool, more if you add refueling in LKO as part of that mission.

  • @wxb200
    @wxb200 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    It would be cool if these behemoths could be rasterized so the game can run smoother... There's a thought...

    • @LegendaryGodKing
      @LegendaryGodKing ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Weld the craft into one piece... would help so much

    • @Zacharysharkhazard
      @Zacharysharkhazard ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Procedural wings mod would cut the parts down for a craft like this monumentally, as well as allow you to hold some fuel in the wings so you need less fuel tanks. There really should be a weld-together mod though that would trick the game into thinking the whole thing is one part.

    • @LegendaryGodKing
      @LegendaryGodKing ปีที่แล้ว

      The ksp2 wings don't hold any fuel and I hate this.

    • @smooneychad
      @smooneychad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry about that! The only gameplay mod was Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, Kerbal Engineer. The visuals on the prettier scenes were the usual Scatterer, Volumetric Clouds (Blackrack patreon), TUFX, Planetshine, HUDreplacer with Naztheme for the UI. The main ascent parts of the video had nothing but KJR and my camera mods

    the only problem with ksp is rigidity. ive never seen a rocket in real life wobble without fake ass auto struts.
