Hello guys. I have a pikachu yellow check 2016 but it doesn’t have the circle on the bottom right. And the symbol doesn’t have a line in the middle. Is that rare??

I’m super new to this but my one son brought home a card…but I can’t find it anywhere (maybe it is a misprint??) could you possibly help on this since I know zero! It’s a metal Pokémon card blastoise gx 218/214 but it says grand bloom gx rather than everything else I find which says giant geyser gx…
This is awesome. I've just begun the process of valuing my original 151 cards (1st editions included) since trading on the school bus back in the 90s. It's been difficult to value to say the least. This has helped bring to light how thorough the process actually needs to be.

What if the website only has one card sold and it’s from 2 years ago?
I have a holo raichu from the second base set and JUST NOW realized the back is off centred. Would it still be worth it to get it graded (there’s not many scratches on it)

Does PSA give you an expected valuation or do you just compare to the market after being graded?

Check on the websites - might be worth more.
Replaying the circle, diamond & star example over and over because your going way to fast. Still not sure which corner(s) your giving an example about?
I really miss a print book to show sets value and help me decide what sets offer best value also can see the top spicy cards in a set and years set was made vs looking each card up and what each symbol means as far as set

I have just found my former pokemon cards and i found some that are like reserve holo and maybe i.will sell.them because i am not using them anyway but i have looked at the value but i dont know if they could still be declared as Nice. Its.not.like they are white or something but a pro might see some things that they dont like.

I think of the bundle of cards that i have Which are mostly reverse holo it would be maybe 70 euro's or something. Thats good to me :)

I wanna sell on ebay, is grading required?
There's always a super low and super high price for seemingly the same card... How do I know which is the true value? For example, I have a very good condition 103/110 gold star Mewtwo and the sold price ranges from $15,000 to $23. I know it's not a perfect PSA 10 but it's pretty close.
Prices range for a Varity of reasons BUT the many one is condition. If you visit PSA they will let you know what to look for to see if its worth grading

Grading doesnt always bring up the value beacause some font like gradded cards sleve that inteleon
More often then not it always will - plus it certifies the value of the card.
Your point can be true on cards that have no value or rarity to them.... which is why you do your research before grading them.
How does the grading of the card affect the price?
The more rare the card the higher the value.

What do the symbols mean in the bottom right of the card?
They indicate the rarity of the card.

There are over 5,000. I'm freaking out on where to start. I want to sell them for him and gift him the money to help him out. I know nothing! This looks like it will take a very long time. Is there a place you can just send them all to to be valued?
