Love all your shortbread recipes Geoff - maybe it’s because I’m Scottish! I have a batch of your Clementine Shortbread in the freezer which I made last week when the recipe popped up in my feed. 😊
This is a little tip I learned by watching a Dutch famous baker ( Cees Holtkamp) which I thought you might like! When he zests lemons, he puts the zest into a bowl and adds +/- 1 TB sugar per lemons’ zest. He usually has more than one lemon! This he rubs together very well. This he then puts into a jar with a lid. After a day or so the mixture has become almost jam like. It really intensifies the flavour. Kept in the fridge, it’s good ‘forever’…as long as you remove the amount you want to use with a scrupulously clean spoon! He claims all pastry bakers do this!🥧🤓 His videos, like yours, are delightful to watch…a few have English subtitles.
These look so scummy.. I'd eat too many, I know that for sure 😂Halloween tomorrow.. I think I might regret putting little pumpkins in my window boxes... This seems to be a sign these days for children to come to the door.. So tomorrow morning I will have to buy sweeties to give out... Don't want eggs thrown at the door 🥚🚪😱😱👿👺🦇🎃👻... It's usually little one s with their mummies or should I say mothers 😅
Hi Henrietta. They are very moreish, as I can attest. I don't buy sweets for Halloween any more since I tend not to get trick or treaters around where I live. But you are right, don't refer to mummies at Halloween. LOL
Trick or treat. These would make a nice treat. Thanks for the video.
Or with curry powder they would be a trick.
