Mrs. KFF Mows The Lawn, Cub Cadet Feels The Pain LTX1045

This is just a short of Mrs. KFF mowing the lawn on her Cub Cadet LTX1045 riding mower and a brief discussion on supporting your significant other in the hobbies they choose. With maybe just a bit of fun thrown in.
Mrs. KFF enjoys mowing the lawn. We have a lot to mow and I couldn't be happier with her choice of hobbies. Some years ago she picked out and purchased a Cub Cadet LTX1045 riding mower. It's not a garden tractor, just a riding mower. This one has the Kohler Courage 20HP engine. This is the 2nd Kohler Courage engine for this Cub Cadet. It was recently replaced and it's still like new, the first Kohler Courage engine evidently had a troubled relationship with the crank balancer at 274 hours so the crank balancer escaped the troubled relationship thru the side of the Kohler Courage aluminum block. (It was an epic engine destruction to behold) I was ready to call it quits on the little Cub but Mrs KFF likes the yellow color of the Cubs though and I'm a big fan of the older ones, you know the kind that have cast iron rear ends and transmissions. This one is made by MTD and it's NOT like the original Cub Cadet tractors, but it does mow the lawn (and takes some punishment every now and then).
While this video is just a bit of fun, we will be getting into rebuilding the mowing deck spindles and replacing the blades on her Cub Cadet LTX1045 in an upcoming video. It may not be for everyone but those with a Cub Cadet or other like branded MTD lawn tractors may find it useful at some point.

Lmfao my mom is the same way if she borrows the mower it needs a spindle bearing in a couple months everytime. Roots, rocks, cinderblocks, garden hoses...you name it she's hit it 🤣

Oh yea, riding mower means ride, nothing said about getting off of it to pick up sticks and debris. LOL! (I'm guilty too sometimes) 🤣Thanks!

Ha! Mine said she'd weedeat, but she's not mowing on my Wheel Horse. More fun for me I guess, I hate trimming lol
