Here are some of my favorite manga covers:
    1. The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl covers. I can't pick a favorite, they're all so nice.
    2. The Case Study of Vanitas has really pretty covers, as well.
    3. The first two volumes of Bloody Sweet are cool. They're connecting covers, which I almost never see.
    4. Lastly, in your "I Went Manga Shopping At Kinokuniya In Georgia!" video that you posted last August, there's a volume cover at the 20:50 mark that I really liked. It's the one of the girl with pink and blue eyes and the blue splotches all over. I still don't know what book that is or if it has an English version, but I hope to find out one day.
My favorite Colorless cover (so far) is Vol 5, mostly because red is my favorite color.

I'm a style-over-realism person when it comes to books and video games, so my list is mainly covers that don't look realistic but that I like the style of. Also, blue is my favorite color, so that also plays a part in some of my picks.
    10. Box of Light, Volume 1 (English Edition)
Although the story itself is mid, I do love the cover art. The bright white, yellow, and purple really stand out against the void around the store. It almost acts like a beacon for the lost souls, which would play into the themes of the stories.
    9. Call of the Night, Volume 2 (English Edition)
Really, any Call of the Night volume could've taken this spot, but I love volume 2 specifically because of how it poses Nazuna. She is floating upside down, so the city is at the top of the volume, whereas the sky is at the bottom, so it's almost like she's falling towards the sky. The neon green text also stands out against the dark background.
    8. A Silent Voice, Volume 6 (English Edition)
Anytime I think of A Silent Voice, I always picture this cover first. I love how it has a wavy look to it, almost like we're viewing it underwater. The blue and green water fading into the white bridge is also a nice touch, and just the color scheme alone is great.
    7. Three Days of Happiness Light Novel (English Edition)
I know your list is all manga, but I had to show some love to Three Days of Happiness' cover art because it is beautiful. I love the characters in the foreground looking at the vast city in front of them with little details like a train passing by and a crane in the background. Those little details make the city feel more alive.
    6. Parasites in Love Light Novel (Japanese Edition)
If I were going to include one light novel, I might as well include another. The female character wearing tan and black really makes her stand out against the snowy background. It also provides a melancholic vibe, which fits the story.
    5. Rascal Does Not Dream of a Logical Witch, Volume 2 (Japanese Edition)
I do like the cover of the edition we got here in the West, but volume 2 is just so gorgeous. Futuba standing in front of the light blue sky in her white, dark blue, and red yukuta is just beautiful. And the expression on her face is just cute, which counteracts the darker themes the story tackles. It's almost like they lure you in with a happy cover only to hit you with a depression anvil once you start reading it 😂.
    4. Hell’s Paradise, Volume 9 (English Edition)
Shion is my personal favorite character in Hell’s Paradise, so I'm glad he got his own cover. The pose really fits the character, and the blue and white background helps him stick out.
    3. Hell’s Paradise, Volume 4 (English Edition)
Even though Shion is my favorite Hell’s Paradise character, I love how Chobei and Toma look, especially that little smirk on Toma's face, and the black and white mixed with purple is really great.
    2. Solanin (English Edition)
Although it is very simple, the colors and composition really grab my attention, as you have Meiko in the foreground and everything in the background is blurred.
    1. Vinland Saga Volume 3 (English Hardcover Edition)
This one is still my favorite because the color scheme and the art work really well. The bloody and beaten Thorfinn standing on top of a pile of dead bodies with the sun setting in the background is just beautiful.
This comment is getting really long, so I'll just end it with this: Great video, as always, Simon!

I just copped steel of the celestial shadows cause of this video. Really looking forward to reading it. Choujin X and Boy's Abyss covers have really been killing it imo.

The Boys' Abyss covers are all incredible. I've never opened the cover of one, but I always like seeing them regardless. Some of my favorites are Flowers of Evil vol. 2 solely because of Nakamura's pose, Raw Hero vol. 4, Bakemonogatari vol. 14, and Daytime Shooting Star vol. 4.

Raw hero almost made the list for me! Also are you referring the the omnibus or singles of Flowers of Evil?

@@simonsaburou I was referring to the Omnibus. With regards to the original single volumes I adore volume 4. Nakamura is one of my favorite manga characters regardless of genre. I love her, and that series finale was crushing.
P.S. Forgot one! Chio’s School Road (awesome series) volume 8.

Requem of the rose king 17
    The king's beast 8 and 9
    After God 1
    Tokyo Aliens 2
    The Killer Inside 2
(the 17th volume cover of Requem of the rose king is actually the reason I started this series in the first place 😂😅
