Man oh man this took me back to a much happier(simpler) time in my life and Ive been chain watching your casts since. Thank you for what you do and thank you for not turning away from a over 20 year old game. I spent a few days digging out my old disks and reinstalling to play again. :D

Sometimes people like me stay in games, despite losing, because - it is fun and relaxing to play the game mechanically - you may be spiteful, sour - you may like the nigh-impossibleness of heroic comeback - to exclude early resignations. It's hard to tell winchance from 1% to 0% - enemy mom may unplug opponents internet cable to have dinner with them
A very scary tactic to consider is to simply matrix an SV and also irridiate it because the spells actually stack, and then send it into the mutlalisks and then have it cast an irridiate on them as well. Meanwhile matrixed valks also join the battle.
Hey artosis, at 4:27 how do you estimate or quanitfy how much minerals lost mining time is. I would like to hear your thoughts on this. usually you point out when there is lost mining time but i cant estimate who came out ahead. thanks
My thought throughout the game was what if he d matrix the valks so he didn't have to run..or matrix on vulture before they enter harass mode....or multi matrix on goliath instead of the irradiate on the mutas since they were spread anyway..long story long I think matrix is the key. Also a lot of zerg are skipping ling speed so the speed vulture is even more valid of a build idea like this not to mention being faster than mutas...was GG

I think you've been a bit disrespectful to him in your recent casts of ASL, for instance saying he's as accomplished as YSC when barracks made asl 9 times in comparison to YSC's 3, and Barracks has been in ro16 in a previous season. Put some respect on Barracks' name and let's see some exciting games from one of the highest APM players in broodwar!
I wish Terran would mix just 1 bunker with marines per base with their turrets to fight off mutalisks sometimes, it's also better against scourge...bunker can be used with firebats to protect against crackling swarms later too.
Arty, can you talk more about these new "contingent or audible" style build orders that allow for windows of advanced play. Like this drop build Noel created. Do you think there's room for more of these prebuilt options for specific attacks / harassment in other build orders, in other race matchups, etc?
No SSL spoilers, but I wonder how Artosis feels about this season. It feels so... disappointing. The games have just been kinda bad. I've yet to watch Group E though
That "bahh, this guy already won this game" "oh no, he don't" "it's more even than i tought" kind of casting is a little boring. Look at sayiankcm casting of the same game yesterday and u will look a very more interesting game with more attention in the vulture raids, for an example, there was almost 100 drones killed in the game and that made the game not so sided since the beginning like artosis called.

Lets correct something here: Shine isnt pulling out mutas like a god, its wico 1127 just not hitting great irradiates :D on top of that, alot of mutas were not stacked - there was maybe 2 groups with 5-6 mutas being decently stacked the the other 18 mutas were just free flying all over the place

Burrow = hard counter
Borrowed units aren't mining so damage still gets done. Less, still some.
That is why *eff "Burrow-against-Flash-in-the-finals" 0rt* will always be my favourite Zerg.

Bro needed less gols and more valks. Create a centralized cluster of 4-6 turrets/1 bunker. Run to the turret/bunker farm if scourge chase.
It hurts to watch terrans not make valk fleets against shit like this.
