    Salute to the African-Americans and their Bravery for serving the Filipino People, their Sacrifices and Labor , should not be forgotten and should be recognized and awarded for Bravery, and should be a strong ally of the Filipino people

Thank you Captain et al from the bottom of my heart. They may not be hearing (anymore) my gratefulness for what they did in favour of my countrymen and my country but I think it’s still right for me or for us pinoys to say “”THANK YOU!” How I wish I could trace their family presently living and meet them! -- ❤️ from 🇬🇧

    That’s the history US schools suppressed to their students. When I went to college in the US, I was surprised that none of them (both white & black) knew about the Filipino American war and beyond until I did my presentation.

      Ikr, we get all too antsy about calling out nations for their histories of suppression when we barely even teach our own students in high school about that. The scale of the atrocities is particularly what upsets me, because it isn’t as if just a few thousand were murdered which although still bad, the atrocities which went on their were on a different scale entirely at at least a couple hundred thousand at LOW estimates.

Respect and love is what we need not discrimination. Let us behave like the COVID-19, what I mean is, it does not discriminate whatever color you have.

      @Stephen Jenkins They do make fun of colors jokingly but they never hurt anyone due to the color of the skin. They don't really have black people there so they are curious. If they act rude that's because of American stereotypes or due to American news portraying black as dangerous which is not true...but they will not hurt or kill people due to the color of the skin like in America. In fact Filipinos are dark too and only few are light (mostly the mixed).

  • @jeffreyhermosa
    @jeffreyhermosa 4 ปีที่แล้ว +34

    We actually do belong to one race, the human race. How we all look like differs because of how we change to the adapt in the environment we are born in. Those in hot climates will tend to have dark skin to better adapt to UV rays from the sun and flatter nose because they don't need to warm up the the air they breath. Those in cold climates will tend to have more body hair and sharper nose to warm air before it enters the lungs.

    This isn't even recorded in most academic books. Even the Korean War, the main focus of our history books is people power 1 and the heroism of Cory's husband Benigno who was actually killed by his own family but blamed pres. marcos. Every history book I read when I was a student all favored whites as the heroes who gave philippines freedom. In reality they didn't gave us freedom instead they bought us from Spain to treat us like slaves. They wanted a US base in Asia to monitor other power. You can only blame Cory and UN who are too bias to US whites. Cory needed US might to win against Marcos. I'm so ashamed of her. She turned her back from us and hide when leftist and NPA caused ruckus but this never written in the book. Even books are Manipulated. Even if duterte has a foul mouth atleast he's being truthful. UN is no longer a neutral organization, they're bias to US. Why I don't hear them calling out US for killing George Floyd like how they call out Duterte. Super freaking bias that I don't even believe them anymore. Duterte did a great job on shutting them up when they stick they're business on us.

    i did not know much about with our american war...in my scool books the fight between u.s. vs ph was heavily glossed over, barely even discussed..if we where taught more thoroughly on what they did..our people probably wouldnt glorify them as much as they do now ...but as they say..:( "history is written by the victors"

    Trivia - More people died in the American-Filipino War compared to the Filipino lives lost in World War II. It's something Americans don't really like to advertise.
