I recently upgraded from an iPhone 11 to a 14 pro and while my new phone is excellent, the 11 was really solid and it’s totally worth its price on the used market.
I'm using still my iPhone 11pro and still satisfied. I'm using the Camera maybe twice a month and the picture quality is still very good. The batterycapacity is 87% and is according apple support OK. But the best thing is: since I bought the Apple Watch Ultra my iPone stays at home most of the time, because the watch works for all common things like Apple Pay, Music via earbuds, calendar , e-mails, making phone calls and more. I'm considering buying a new iPhone only when no more new software updates are available.
Traded my 11 for a 14 Pro because of an $800 tradein. Doesnt feel like a huge upgrade and HDR is much worse. Wish I had copped an old 11 Pro instead and I wouldve kept it forever.
After having a few frustrations on Android, I finally ordered this phone a few days ago and it's arriving tomorrow. I bought the Amazon renewed iPhone 11 for $285 and it is supposed to be in excellent condition. It isn't the newest or most feature packed iPhone but I feel it's the best value for the money. I'm not ever going to buy a brand new $1,000 phone so this was a great deal for me. Most people are guessing at least 2-3 years of support and I'm thinking it'll be more just because it has a great processor. I watched a ton of videos on which iPhone to buy and your video was among the handful that convinced me. Great update review for 2023! Oh and I got that sweet product red color too 🔥
I got mines in Feb of this year upgraded from the XR , the 11 runs like a champ very fast , my only gripe is the battery life isn’t that good but I am a heavy user. It still gets me through the day though

I love tech and just bought a refurbished iPhone 11 yesterday for 425 euros....expediated delivery was included (in Europe Apple products are horrifyingly expensive) Reason being I just want to experience iOS...sure I have an iPad but my primary driver is the S21 Ultra....oh yeah and I've a Xiaomi midranger too.....ok so we've estabished I'm a tech geek but I did my homework and sure enough the iPhone 11 is the best you can get if you don't want all those bells and whistles which you never use. And the 6.1 inch screen is ideal....I was looking at the Pro but that has a 5.8 inch. Kudos for the review.....someone with common sense and not blind brand loyalty is refreshng.
Once the 12 gets retired and the price drops (on the used market) i feel like it'll be the best budget phone. It'll have most of the newest features from the 14 and 13 resulting in it staying in trend. The 11 is still a monster and is undoubtedly the best budget phone on the market right now
Not sure. I have relatives who have 12 and some have 13 and the ones who bought 12 are having screen problems and the battery on the 12 was worse than the 11 or 13.
11 pro max kinda dream. People said here not much difference between 11-13 so my goal iPhone 11 or 11 pro max. Just want oled but in same time i want iPhone so i will buy 11 first i think. I just can't find nice offer for 11 pro max now at second-hand market. But have not bad offer for 11 so
Mine is already 3 years old now. The battery is at 74% health and occasionally freezes every 3-4 weeks of persistent use without shutting down. The camera is still very good if you're into editing. RAM and performance is okay-ish. The only disadvantage is the LCD screen. But it's still a good screen (as long as you don't put it side by side with other OLED phones lol). I'm hoping it could last me at least for a newer iPhone with (hopefully) USB-C port.
Your disadvantage is actually my advantage of this phone! 😅 OLED phones use something called PWM which flickers the screen which some are effected by so I for one can’t have any of these new OLED phones
We’re in the smartphone singularity. The iPhone 11 will definitely get more than 3 years iOS updates then 3 or 4 more years of security updates and app updates after that. I still use a 6s and it works totally fine for everything I do so there’s no need to upgrade.
Always surprised how many people are shocked at the fact an iPhone performs like an iPhone several years down the line. Performance issues long-term have been a thing of the past ever since about the iPhone X launched.
The iPhone 11 was the last perfect iPhone in my opinion, if you don’t care about 120 Hz refresh rate, 5G, or a telephoto camera, I would still by this phone.

Just gave my girlfriend my iPhone 13 Pro Max for her iPhone 11. I love how small it is and how light it feels. It’s feels like a cell phone not a freaking brick. And the battery is not half bad.
Looking a couple more years in the future, I think the 12 is going to be the ultimate “older” phone. Mainly because of MagSafe. In a few years when Apple gets rid of a port all together, everyone will laugh at anyone using lightning. Having the ability to mount a wallet or especially a battery bank to the back of the phone is pretty ground breaking IMO. I have a 12 mini and my wife has an 11. I can comfortably say my OLED is significantly crisper and nicer than her LCD.
@@ShaunYeoh you're right because magsafe only works without a case. I you wanna put a case on your 12 or higher it has to be a magsafe one. So unless apple comes out with a super strong magnet that goes through cases we will all be walking around with the same clear case with a white ring on it
Excellent video, only thing is that if you're a heavy user (apps, videos and photos) , consider looking for bigger storage. Especially if you hold onto phones for a few years.
I just got the iPhone 11 about 6 months ago free for switching my line to Metro by T-Mobile. Unlike the bigger carriers that say they give you a free phone when you switch when it’s actually a 24 month commitment via monthly bill credits but with metro the phone is unlocked after 6 months and you can take the phone to other providers. I got the phone for my new TH-cam channel. It’s actually a 2nd phone and my main phone is my beloved iPhone 8 Plus 256GB. The storage on the free 11 is only 64gb so I airdrop my TH-cam videos over to my 8 plus. Btw, my 8 plus is still just as fast if not a hair faster than the 11 and just had the original battery replaced this year and battery life between the 8 plus and 11 is almost identical. I believe and hope that Apple actually uses the iPhone 11 for the upcoming SE4. Apple has been WAY behind on budget offerings for years. The current SE3 is $429 and for that you can get a 6.8 inch Samsung phone with 120Hz refresh rate; night mode, huge battery, etc. Reusing the iPhone 11 for the next iPhone SE would seriously help Apple in the budge category. The current SE3 is just too dated and too small.
Am I the only one who loves ips retina displays? I can't stand the amoled ones 😅😅 Just bought the 11 base model for basic use and I'm planning to keep this one until long after it is dropped from update support. That indicates how well balanced and practical this phones is and it's coming from a guy (myself) who always want the latest and greatest.. this phone made me reconsider my way of life as a tech guy and it's incredible!
Yeah, I prefer the retina ips displays as well. I've seen new iPhone XR's for sale, great prices to. I'm going to get one, bought one used off eBay and had to return it, faulty. But a new one... 😁
I love the fact that you can buy an older device, and it still functions very well. Apple does make it very good product from the fact that it can be bought years down the road and it’s still good. I’m looking forward to this phone being supported for at least two more years. I mean look at the XR it’s still supported for iOS 17 that is incredible.
I'm here in 2024. I came here looking for a good reason to get an iPhone 11 and now I'm totally convinced. By the way, I absolutely love your delivery and style. Much easier to listen to than everybody else!
I'd like to put in a word for the iPhone 11 pro. It's a bit smaller than the 11 (5.8" screen instead of 6.1"), and as a result fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. And it has a x2 zoom that I use all the time for simple portrait photos.
Buying one of these (128gb, 1 yr old) off a mate tomorrow for 250! This video was exactly what I needed, bar charts mean nothing to me 😂 been on the 8 since 2018 🏆
Personally I would get 12 bc of 5G, then I would say 13 because of small notch, then I would say 13 pro bc better than I would force myself to get 14 pro This is why I still have an iPhone 8
The iphone 11 is 3 yrs and 3 months old, i wouldn't say it's almost 4 yrs until maybe june or july this year.... Now the Huawei p30 pro on the other hand which is "almost" 4 yrs old released last March 2019 and still performs like a beast.
I’m rocking the iPhone 11 (got it when the 13 lineup was announced) and probably will until the battery health gets to either 80% or Apple gives me a reason to upgrade.
I just bought the 8 plus from Best Buy because my A515G frosted on me. I have had it for 3 months and received all the new software updates from Apple it cost me 250. I’m happy with it
I agree with this take, but I think the 12 is far more better than the 11 when talking about future proofing and bang for your buck. You’ll get the new design, 64GB, an OLED display, AND 5G. All for a bit more than the 11. Great video overall

Had my iPhone 11 pro nearly a year now, cost me £298 refurbished at the time and couldn’t be happier with it. Also has OLED and the 3 cameras.
I have the iPhone 11 in black 64gb. With metro pcs. I’m loving it too😊 it’s still new to.
I just upgraded from the iPhone 6 to the 11 and the changes are insane
ill be upgrading my 6 into 11, im exited!
Oh and I got that sweet product red color too 🔥
If you get a fully functioning phone it is a fine phone.
I got mines in Feb of this year upgraded from the XR , the 11 runs like a champ very fast , my only gripe is the battery life isn’t that good but I am a heavy user. It still gets me through the day though
@@kratos2105u still enjoying the 11
@@kratos2105 do you have to charge mid day?
Our 14 year old still rocks his 11 and never a hiccup. He’s murdered the battery health on his but still lasts the majority of a day for his heavy usage
Maybe one day. Treat the young one to a battery change. No need for a new phone if your kid likes it..
@@shanepatrick641 yea just waiting for it to go below 80% health and then it’s covered by apple care. Black Friday might have some good deals as well. Got my daughters free iPhone 13’s last year and gave it to them for Christmas. Might be able to do the same with the 14 later this year for him
Upgraded from the 11 to the 14 just 6 days ago. Liking it so far.
The 11, along with the SE 2/3 and Xr are still the only choice left for those of us who can’t use OLED due to PWM.
It’s true. And OLED gets burn in if you keep a device long enough to notice.
@@interstat2222for AMOLED and so on , it's true! Only if you leave your phone open full brightness with a static image. I know that because i have burn on my screen
Love my 11 Pro Max. Here it is 2023 . Going to wait a couple more years. Going to get a new iPad now. My old one died, but I got my money’s worth.
The iPhone 11 is still the best all round iPhone I have owned. The 13 Pro Max comes a close second (bar the cost).
I bought the 11 pro max when it first came out. Still using it as my phone. Will update next year when iPhone 16 comes out.
11 pro max kinda dream. People said here not much difference between 11-13 so my goal iPhone 11 or 11 pro max. Just want oled but in same time i want iPhone so i will buy 11 first i think. I just can't find nice offer for 11 pro max now at second-hand market. But have not bad offer for 11 so
I bought one in 2021. It is still going strong as my secondary phone.
I love my iPhone 11..it works perfectly for me and most of the assignment videos recorded by it❤
I have one and I agree 100% with you. Nice video. Thank you !
Watching on an 11 pro max I bought second hand last year. Lovely phone.
OLED phones use something called PWM which flickers the screen which some are effected by so I for one can’t have any of these new OLED phones
We’re in the smartphone singularity. The iPhone 11 will definitely get more than 3 years iOS updates then 3 or 4 more years of security updates and app updates after that. I still use a 6s and it works totally fine for everything I do so there’s no need to upgrade.
2025
Bought it at Decemberish something2022 and pretty happy with it still better than any android plus not thinking to change it in like 3-4 years
Always surprised how many people are shocked at the fact an iPhone performs like an iPhone several years down the line. Performance issues long-term have been a thing of the past ever since about the iPhone X launched.
Just saw your this video in my iphone 11 after using 4.5 years finally switching to my new iphone 15 ❤
The iPhone 11 was the last perfect iPhone in my opinion, if you don’t care about 120 Hz refresh rate, 5G, or a telephoto camera, I would still by this phone.
if it had an OLED display i'd be all over it. only because of that i went with 12 which wasn't that much more expensive.
I’ve been rocking my iPhone 11 sense December 2021 it’s been 13 months sense I own it I have zero problems with it it works fine it does what I need it to do my iPhone 11 is this nice color green is more of a sea foam green 💚 the mint .
im currently rocking a iphone 11 right now while waiting for my iphone 14 to come to me lol i still like the iphone 11, i just like the iphone 14 better lol , but im not having any problems using it right now iphone 11 is still a solid phone after 2 years or owning it i have used many android around that time as well, but i always go back to it and im like man the iOS system is buttery smooth and it works amazing and yeah i just like apple systems and style great device .
I recall seeing cases with magnetic rings for the iPhone 11. Perhaps that could be a cheap workaround for anyone who has an iPhone older than the 12.
@@ShaunYeoh you're right because magsafe only works without a case. I you wanna put a case on your 12 or higher it has to be a magsafe one. So unless apple comes out with a super strong magnet that goes through cases we will all be walking around with the same clear case with a white ring on it
The 11 has MagSafe charging
@@jeffmyers2339 no it had wireless charging, not the magsafe magnet that makes it stick to things
@@powerpuffcurl1459 why is not having a magnet such a deal breaker 😂 besides they both have wireless charging anyways
Excellent video, only thing is that if you're a heavy user (apps, videos and photos) , consider looking for bigger storage. Especially if you hold onto phones for a few years.
Watching this video on my iPhone 11 that I got like 3 years ago…. Feels good man !
Still using my iPhone 11 Pro Max up to now. Still amazing.
Ok you've convinced me, im gonna buy this iphone this year 😅😅😅
I just got the iPhone 11 about 6 months ago free for switching my line to Metro by T-Mobile.
I love my iPhone 11 Pro ! It keeps going strong!
I was amazed at the sound quality when I first got mine - was not expecting that. I feel like it still sounds better than a 13.
I love this phone! Mine is a lavender. I like the round edges better than the 12.
Same here
Yeah I’m still using iPhone 11 Pro and never once felt the need for the latest 14.
Yesss right to the point intro and not a weird mouth woosh sound effect.
I wish they had made an iPhone 11 mini with rounded edges!! Love iPhone 11 and how it feels in my hand!
I have been thinking about buying a newer iPhone im definitely buying the iPhone 11.. I love the price is affordable
After watch this video, I decided to continue use my iPhone 11 for another few years. 😊👍
I'd like to put in a word for the iPhone 11 pro. It's a bit smaller than the 11 (5.8" screen instead of 6.1"), and as a result fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. And it has a x2 zoom that I use all the time for simple portrait photos.
I am considering upgrading my iPhone 7, thanks for the advice
Just got an secondhand iPhone XS and still works really well!
Buying one of these (128gb, 1 yr old) off a mate tomorrow for 250! This video was exactly what I needed, bar charts mean nothing to me 😂 been on the 8 since 2018 🏆
iPhone 11 really is the new iPhone 6S. I don't know how to explain this to you but it just makes sense.
Personally I would get 12 bc of 5G, then I would say 13 because of small notch, then I would say 13 pro bc better than I would force myself to get 14 pro
This is why I still have an iPhone 8
I have an xs because of this, the only problem is the battery
@@jacopomanfio yes agreed
Just got the iphone 11, you are actually right.
The iphone 11 is 3 yrs and 3 months old, i wouldn't say it's almost 4 yrs until maybe june or july this year.... Now the Huawei p30 pro on the other hand which is "almost" 4 yrs old released last March 2019 and still performs like a beast.
Still have my 11, don't feel the need to upgrade, which for people that know me is a big surprise. Used to change every year.
I’m rocking the iPhone 11 (got it when the 13 lineup was announced) and probably will until the battery health gets to either 80% or Apple gives me a reason to upgrade.
There is always a replaceable battery.
I just brought one today and love it already 👍🏾
Upgraded from iphone 11 to Pixel 7 Pro and it's been a great experience.
I just bought the 8 plus from Best Buy because my A515G frosted on me. I have had it for 3 months and received all the new software updates from Apple it cost me 250. I’m happy with it
My XR is still in great shape with 88% battery health after over 3 years
I came over from Android after buying a iPhone 11 this year. So far, I have no regrets.
I’m still rockin my iPhone 8 Plus… works fine, still getting all updates… it does need a battery, but lasts all day…
You convinced me ! Just bought one to upgrade from my 4 year old IPhone 8 .
Haha we have the exact same product red 11 with a black case. Such a nice combo
I bought an 11 pro an year ago, still using it. It absolutely worth it.
I got an iPhone 11 when I switched to Boost Mobile. Great Deal.
Iphone 11 was my first high end phone ever since smart phones were a thing @.@ damn It's prehistoric now.
I bought mine in 2021 and love it still in 2023!!
I upgraded to the iPhone 14 plus from the 11. The 11 I had was great!!
I just got mine in black 64gb metro pcs. I’m loving it too😊
Still using my Xs Max and couldn't be happier.
We got the 11 last year for our kids. And not a single complaint from them, nor any issues with the phones.
Just got this through cricket for 49.99 switching my number over. Great deal and they will unlock it after 6 straight months of service.
I got a refurbished iPhone 11 pro for $330 and it's really good, much better than spending over $1k on a brand new one
I'm getting one at the end of March like this so I can come back when I get it
I bought mine on 9 October 2021 and it still works like 😍
I agree with this take, but I think the 12 is far more better than the 11 when talking about future proofing and bang for your buck. You’ll get the new design, 64GB, an OLED display, AND 5G. All for a bit more than the 11. Great video overall
I’m in a country where there is hardly any 5g, my provider doesn’t even offer it. I’d say 5g is really only USA/China consideration
But the battery life is worse and some people suffer from headaches from the pwm flicker
@@br5632 I live in part of the US where 5 g isn't a factor yet. I just chose the 11 PM because my sister-in-law has had such problems with her 12 and I really want the security features that come 14 and after and eventually those phones will be a bargain but not yet.
How’s the battery life on the I phone 12 ????
I bought the Xr and still works like charm
I just bought an iPhone 11 for $200 on Craigslist yesterday. 94% battery, clean and clear, fully unlocked. 😂
To be honest, as one of the 10%, I’m still on my 8 Plus, which still does everything I need.
I’m on an 8 right now. But i dropped it in the pool and for the first time the water affected the screen so I’m gonna go with a used 11. They are going for 350 now but a year to send back
