I started with this hobby 2 years ago. In fact, I didn't know anything about WW2 German military before. I go to work for 8 hours, I work on buildings, and when I save, I buy daggers. Yes, they are hard earned money, sometimes even weekends. But I had money in the bank for a long time, and they didn't do anything for me at the time of the covid. ;-( So I started buying SS daggers and other German stuff. I also have several other Luftwaffe Daggers, and thanks to Mr. Wittmann, I always bought the original, and several times I thought it was original, and after sending an email, I quickly opened my eyes because of this gentleman. To many fakes out there now;-(( I recently bought an NSSK chain Dagger, so now I had to wonder if I hadn't burned. And it's okay. I'm just waiting for the post. Alex and Mr. Wittmann are nice to see together. I complement each other very well. I still have RAD and Teno Eickhorn Dagger, who I'm trying to sell. So over time, I've put £ 30,000 into this, but I don't regret it. It definitely has more value now. Thank you guys for nice video. Always learning something new;-)) Best Regards . Pekny Vecer ;-)

German militaria from the 2nd World War is increasing faster and is also more secure than gold, the prices for helmets, bayonets, daggers ... have almost doubled in the last 10 years

My uncle kurt was officer in the German army the only thing I have left is u.s. government censored photos of his wedding in full uniform standing next to his Zundapp three-wheeled shaft Drive motorcycle wish I could figure out what happened to my Uncle Kurt Kleinsemen you know the Russians worked into death if they caught them and never sent them home that bothers me the most he went to the Russian front and disappeared which leaves a lot of options you could have ran good been blown to bits some left somewhere or caught and worked to death and never allowed to go home I would like some resolution watch my grandmother cried to the day she died

A lot of it is probably the surge in interest in HEMA/sword & dagger arts in general. As a practitioner/teacher myself I have seen a huge increase in interest in the past few years. Maybe partly due to the M1 Medieval tournaments becoming popular. As an aside though one of the differences nowadays w/ college is the fact that you can learn more, about more topics faster using the internet, it doesnt cost as much & your kids dont come out the other side brainwashed into communists & degenerates quite as easily.

Thanks I enjoyed this video as I did the first time you got Mr Whittman to let you explore his vault. Since then I also visited Tom last year, who sold my 35 year dagger collection on his website. While I was at his home he offered me an opportunity to see the vault. I ended up purchasing an outstanding Postal Dagger that you showed from the first vault tour. I had to have it, just as Tom has always said "a great investment" now for my daughter who's been my partner in the knife business.

I love watching this stuff the story is talking about the stories my dad was a biker in the sixties and personally new Von Dutch used to go out to his home in the high desert wherever he lived and visit him one time he went out there with my mom on his Harley and it was a long ride and Von Dutch said wants to go in the spare bedroom relax for awhile cleanup my mom got nosy and open this dresser in the drawer solid from back to front and this is a huge dresser drawer several feet wide antique is solid red material being even nosyer she keeps peeling back the layers of the material and then all the sudden she finds White and then black it took some thinking they figured out it was a full swastika Banner that went down the side of the building I wonder what's that worth today I'm sure somebody has it. hope you enjoyed my story😃

Wittman is a treasure to the collecting community. PS. Quit using Mark Felton's intro music. It makes you like a rip off artist and uncreative.
