For artistic purposes like that Star Wars movie!! naw, Nintendo claimed copyright because, well, it was a Nintendo song playing in the background so they had me remove it. The audio pops back in afterwards. I walked out only buying an Animal Crossing t-shirt and a Switch game (Yoku's Island Express) but it would be easy to go broke at this store. So many cool things!

Agent Orange - obviously all the throngs of people who buy game soundtracks would love to bootleg a poorly recorded version of their fave tunes with John's voice over it. I mean, I can just hear Ninty's bank account draining as we speak! This may actually be what they're thinking.

I remember reading a letter in Nintendo Power mailbag about a Game Boy damaged in the Gulf War! There was also a NES console damaged by the leg of a chair penetrating it, but the owner sent a photo of it still working. I wonder where that NES ended up?? It could have been another testament to the durability of the systems.
someone share answer me if yall can. donkey kong and mario started on atari in donkey kong game. so how did nintendo get rights to both and have them on nintendo systems all these years. and does atari own rights or does nintendo? where can i got to check it out
I have a love/hate relationship with the Nintendo store in NYC. Every time I go out there I have to pass by the store but it's more for the vanity since I never get anything. The prices are a bit scary lol
I was in choir in high school, and grew up playing the piano (both of my parents are classically-trained musicians so we all grew up learning an instrument. I thought all kids did until I was in, like, 5th grade.
I have been to this store twice and I was not impressed, it is way to small and there is not a huge selection, Nintendo could have done a lot better IMO
not want to play devils advocat, but by forcing you to edit the video because of involuntarily witnessing the audio, they infringed the artistic value of your work. to me, thats too close to censorship. just putting it out there...

I was there the same week you published this video! All the way from WA to Nintendo New York.
I was actually stunned most of the stuff seemed somewhat reasonably priced. I was expecting the clothes and knickknacks to be marked up way more!

Yep, Nintendo forced me to remove it because music from ARMS (copyright infringement) was playing loud enough to catch the claim.

There's a Nintendo store INSIDE Nintendo headquarters but you can only shop if you're an employee.
