The prequels don’t have the best movies in them?!… you goofy. First trilogy is the hero’s journey, prequels are the villain’s journey, and the sequels were a trail of tears…

Og is good especially for its time but prequels had better movie tech, better fighting and story and more.

Its literally old men who believe the OG trilogy is better in every way. Literally everything was better in the prequels.

they have their merits but I agree.

Wrong. There were actually great stories beyond the Jedi/Sith thing in the OT. That was the only thing interesting in the prequels. The acting was definitely better. The redemption of Anakin/Vader at the end was the greatest moment in all of Star Wars lore. Luke was a great character of huge historical importance in the galaxy. Vader rampaging through (especially in Empire) was epic. You can like whatever you want more. I don't care. But your statement about everything being superior in the PT is ridiculous

it is not superior at all...I can watch the old trilogy with a smile on my face, without skipping any moment....While I will skip lots of moments of the PT. Why ? Because some are stupid or boring af. I don't even talk about some moments which are out of this world on a stupidity level (Episode III, stormtroopers reloading cannons manually in space...congratz, never saw that coming). And I prefer to not talk about the proof of disrespect to all author that were published by LucasArt...only for money because nothing from the novels or the games was used for the trilogy. Last but not least..."Clone Wars" ??? Really ? It's Civil War or Secession War but not Clone Wars. The war is not about the Clone. The Clones are just tools of the war. But hey, it's not like Lucas had any idea of what he was talking about when he did Star Wars in 1977.
Oh and before I go...ALL moments with the Emperor in the Prequels are crap, it's ridiculous and you don't feel the evilness. But in the Return of the Jedi ?? OMG, the Emperor is way more badass and dangerous and scary. From the look of his face to the way he is speaking, he embodies danger.
I was about to forgot. In Star Wars (1977 still) Obiwan told Luke Vader betrayed and killed the Jedis. And what did we witness in the Prequel ? just some younglings...that's ridiculous af. Not big fight against Jedis, those have been terminated by clone troopers.
Nah, the Prequel are not superiors. They have huge flaws. However, they are indeed superior to the sequel.

Yet Revenge of the Sith is the movie that sparks the most "What if" scenarios in Star Wars fans and gets dissected scene by scene, remembered for it's every moment and has it's every quote as some famous quote. And as a final act of the Prequels, it does build upon what Attack of the Clones and Phantom Menace have shown, concluding the story of a hero's fall and a political crisis.
I didn't get bored even once when watching the Prequels, Attack of the Clones is my favorite episode out of both trilogies(Disney fan fictions are crap, I can't accept them). It is an immersive movie that makes me wish I lived in a Star Wars galaxy, and it feels lived in. That visual aspect of the movie cannot be underestimated, and it's mostly thanks to practical effects rather than CGI: A lot of interiors and locations were miniatures, and each prequel had more practical effects than the entire OT combined.
The tragedy told by the Prequels only gives extra weight to the Originals while the old trilogy provides a satisfying conclusion. All movies make the rest of the saga better, and I honestly disagree with both the author's video and your comment, as there is no superior trilogy: All 6 episodes tell one big story.

I kind of agree with you. Like I said, I love the originals. They were landmark films. And without them the trilogies have less weight. But as far as entertainment goes I prefer the prequels.

@@henrykkeszenowicz4664because ROTS fans were children who enjoyed the film and now they’re grown up.
Plus, Anakin’s fall was absolutely integral to Star Wars before the OT was even completed. That doesn’t excuse the films for handling it extremely lazily

I dont like the prequels bad writing akward to watch to much political boolshit and overal just very boring. Versus the originals that aint boring thats amazing every part about is also in the PT the villians like the trade federation and the CIS was kinda just there so there could be an clone wars and the clones were cool but the droids just aint it. Grieves had so much potential and just was a coward in these films and he was just there to get obi wan off planet so anakin could turn to the dark side. The jedi are nothing more then just clowns in this movie, darth maul was cool i guess dooku was underused, and there was no build up to anakins turn to the dark side!!!
I liked the fighting scenes. Jangl fett was underused, yoda was just cringe i am a hugeeeee lover of the puppet yoda its a crime to have him cgi but the puppet version WAS even worse. Returning to tatooine was just nostalgia bait, but still its your opinion and this aint no hait just noting my opinion

I appreciate your opinion. I agree with some of it. But come on seeing Yoda finally fight with a lightsaber was nuts!
