Not being disrespectful, but BNE is YBBN, not YSSY. That is Sydney.3.02 on the tape. The designation, YBBN stands for, Area Brisbane/Brisbane. YBCS-Area Brisbane/Cairns. So YSSY is area Sydney/Sydney. Each state uses the main ATC as home, followed by the airport abbreviation. I will fully apologise if I am wrong after being out of aviation for many years after retirement. But SY for Bne. does not make sense.
