Yup. The PC (Pedal Com box) is intercepting the TPS (throttle position sensor) and doing its magic then passing that amplified throttle change schedule through your PCM which ALSO learns that you have new aggressive driving habits. Probably why the PCM still reflects aggressive driving even when the PC is "off".

That peddle commanders is legit..I remember back in 2011 putting a “Sprint Booster” on my 10 Challenger SRT8 back when I owned it, & the way that thing eliminated electronic throttle lag was incredible..

Sport plus +4 is the most exciting one
Exhaust screams but I can't use that from red light but it's the best rolling and then accelerating ! Usually use sport setting +2
Otherwise higher settings tires spin like nuts if u don't know how to work throttle

Rt’s are really fun a buddy has a 392 he lets me drive and that was my first time driving a charger or mopar with a v8 so I bought me just two days ago a 2013 charger rt plus awd with 55k miles love it and ordered this and the tazer I need to force it in rwd at time

Man listen that's exactly what I'm trying to say! Our car is ALREADY very sensitve enough so this thing would be dangerous on our car man i'm telling you! There's a reason why our car doesn't come like this from the factory! There's a reason we have that slight delay in throttle response. Cause thing is serious!

I had one of these in my 2018 5.0. It felt so much damn quicker that I took it off because I was literally addicted to the quickness that i never wanted to drive slow. My mpg ended up going to shit haha.
Malie i’m new to cars but how does the mpg work ? does the mpg keep going down and doesn’t go back up or can you make your mpg go back up ?
@@allen.2x975 not sure what you are asking but mpg = miles per gallon. Typically when you drive/accelerate faster, you use more gas because of internal combustion. Therefore with the pedal commander, you accelerate faster equalling more gas used.

Man i think with our car it would be very dangerous to be honest! Like I'd be scared myself to have that thing on in close quarters! It's almost like you can't control the kick! There's a reason why company's don't make the car like this from the factory. There would be a lot more accidents. Trust me.

I dropped a taser into my 14 V6 and I am not messing around that I have put this thing sideways just because going over the white line when turning at an intersection and it putting me sideways with just a taser and hardly on the throttle coming from a complete stop. This thing I’m sure would kill on any type of Hemi but even on a V6 it sounds like it will tear up!! I’m looking at picking one up.
When he said that was half throttle I was shocked. Added to my list

The car starts up at whatever setting u had it last ! So if u know someone else is using your car put it into lowest least aggressive setting if u don't want them to wreck it lol and it starts in that setting . Or u can turn it off completely !
The commander is amazing ! I thought my 392 is punchy but how little did I know ! I don't want to drive no more with commander off it's always on when I drive mostly in Sport mode +2
Sport + plus 4 omg it makes car jumpy like crazy exhaust screams
Combined with tazer track mode omg !

Very interesting. I wonder if this would help at the drag strip....with a pair of warmed up Mickey Thompson's. Maybe this would shave a couple tenths of a second off the quarter mile with this thing.......

Great teamwork on this video. I like your camera angle too - it was wider than RT Life's. Do you set the camera on a wide angle or panoramic view to capture both front seats?
Lol thanks man yea I capture this wide angle by simply using a GoPro Hero 5 Black. RT just uses his cell phone that's why his view looks like that.
Dude I put one of this with my converted promaster van 3.6. Once you turn that on the monster inside wakes up and the van sounds like a sportscar 😆 🤣. I deliver amazon with it early morning. Also I felt like the engine runs better.
Any problems with it so far? Some people say they have problems with these.

For people watching, it is not recommended to adjust Pedal Commander settings while the car is moving. It won't always work properly when you do that. I realized it was acting funky one day, and I thought it was broken. I did some homework online, and learned what the simple problem was. Didn't even realize I was doing it. I was playing with the modes while driving on the road. To be clear, the Pedal Commander works 100 percent when the mode is adjusted while at a complete stop. It does NOT always work when shifting modes while the car is moving. If you notice lag happening, ....stop the car completely. Re-adjust the mode. This should fix it.

Best practice is not to change modes on Pedal commander while driving it may trigger the check engine light.

Stock, active exhaust sounds pretty good though... not sure what year his Charger is, but could be stock setup with AE.
Jeffrey K I have a stock 2018 challenger R/T and it sounds loud af, the active exhaust is no joke, I get many compliments because people think it’s modified lmao
I've heard days after you get a tune sometimes your car learns and changes some things so you guys are not crazy that you can probably feel a difference with the device off.

Yes pedal commander is unbelievable. I just installed on my challenger scatpack manual. Using sport plus is impossible in my car. To difficult to control the power on manual transmission. I usually use sport.level 2. Awesome product.

It's perfectly safe. The only thing it changes is the throttle response which is electronically controlled. It does not modify any kind of tuning or anything of the like. Simply increases or decreases how responsive your gas pedal is when you push down the accelerator. If you shut it off, it goes back to stock settings seamlessly. If you use your cruise control it defers to the stock settings and drives like it would in cruise control without the Pedal Commander installed. It saves your settings so you don't have to set it every time you start your vehicle.
It is basically a device that's going to allow you to fine tune what you want your throttle to feel like when driving. It is not a tuner. It does not increase your power, or torque. It simply changes the throttle responsiveness, and therefore cannot void your warranty either.
I've been using one in my 2016 RAM Hemi pickup for about a year now without an issue. I absolutely love it. If you're thinking about buying one, be sure to check out Moe's Performance, sometimes he has them on sale so you can save a bit of money.

Yeah it's a real brotherhood when you see another Charger especially a 392! Same thing here it's like when people see you and they about that Charger life they give you that look like you're family. I usually head nod, flick my HID's and hit my horn really quick twice as we roar by each other in opposite directions!

No I think he has a magnaflow exhaust.
The stock exhaust on the 17 and up R/Ts has the same "active" exhaust as the 392, it's MUCH louder than it used to be on the R/T, sounds AWESOME!

Good question. I'd say it does ever so slightly guzzle your gas more than just the regular throttle. But we'd have to do more research on that to confirm.
