    But a lift limit is child’s play… I have a 7 currently 😳

we should thank you for building this car and showing it to us. Meeting you was a bonus. Keep up the great work, you keep us garage builders wanting to finish our own projects. Big shout out to Mrs Jeff and sorry she is not well. All the best to her.

Love the badges! Glad you and Mike caught up, the two best builds on TH-cam. My recommendation for your lift would be to get one of those light beam interrupting switches they use with garage doors to stop them if something interrupts the light beam. Mount it pointing fore/aft on the ceiling and if any part of the top of a car interrupts the beam have it shut off the lift power.

That's a great idea! Not too hard to implement either. I think I'd do it with electronics between the button and the main UP relay for the lift - with luck inside the main handset. That way it would be minimally intrusive and I think would cover more of the possibilities than a relay. So the circuit itself gets switched on by the button and kinda does a test first to decide whether it's going to allow the button to pass current to the normal main relay. I just have a feeling that would be better than introducing another relay (and deciding whether it's going to be normally closed or normally open) with their attendant reliability problems; though Jeff would at least have parts on hand if it's a socketed relay. You could even do it in two levels, a warning height and a damage height, and introduce a beeper for when it's in between, plus maybe an orange and a red relay on the handset for 'Warning' and 'Limit up' in case the garage is noisy. Electronics is more likely to last 30 years than a relay but the most important thing to do would be to list all the use permutations of where the car is and how things could go wrong - including failure of the laser beam (or bulb?) and any of the electronic components. You don't want the pass transistor to fail as a short, though that's less likely than a relay failing, I think. Actually, they at least tend to fail open. Hmmm. (And I've got some 40 year old relays in my car.) It needs proper thought but it's a superb idea nonetheless!

Everything in/on the car is HOME BUILT BY JEFF. Even the dent. Glad you took it to the show with it. It's all part of the process/journey.
I already messaged you on IG, but I've got to say it again. I've been here since the Porsche was an only child, and it was black. I really hope al this exposure at WTAC with Mike Stanceworks, Larry Chen, and so many others; make your channel explode with subs. You truly, truly deserve it.
This channel should be at at least 1M subs.

The hood cut away and bump really works so perfectly.
I won’t lie that when you first talked about them I couldn’t see the vision. But now I think it really adds to the car!
Keep up the excellent work Jeff. So many of us are learning from the things you’re teaching here!

Wow, the stance this car has is great. Those wheels really look gorgeous. It's awesome to see it sitting out in the open. Can see how really compact it is. Featherweight but with so much power! This baby is gonna be a screamer. The badges are mad fun, and came out looking perfect. That's funny, but also a tribute to two automotive legends. Just gotta smile.
Oh yah, and it was hard to tell how dusty she was on camera, until the wash & wax. The difference was noticeable immediately. ... ooohhh SHINY!

@@AlastairSmith Hi Alastair, good to hear from you. Yes an LB with a 3.0 24v Busso. I started in November 2019! It's my first kit car build so a very steep learning curve coupled with I'm a perfectionist and supply chain issues during and since COVID. On positives though, the engineering is sublime, the finish is first class and aesthetically it's mechanical porn!!

It was great to see the car at WTAC and say g’day very briefly. It was my favourite car of that day, and there were a lot of very well built cars.
The sheer lunacy of shoehorning a big engine into a little car really tickles me. It’s like the AC/Shelby Cobra or the Giacatollo (which I realised a day too late was at WTAC!), but home built!
    Keep up the good work.
