@@liamburns8554 Yes. I focus on side delts heavily and have a hard time wearing those sucker's out. I never get noticeable DOMS there, but do with these. I spent around 4 months doing these on every push/pull day, using drop sets. I just switched back to dumbells to give my joints a little break and was really surprised at how much strength I'd gained. You can never really tell with cable machines how much leverage they're giving you and other weight disbursement advantages. You know you're getting stronger because the weight goes up but can't equate it to iron until you switch back. I recommend trying them if you can.
@@liamburns8554 Oh and try to emulate the lateral raise movement as much as possible (along the side). Don't do it like Israetel where he turned it into more of a rear delt exercise. The best part about a bench cables setup is that you only have to drag bench there once. Everyone is to lazy to drag it back to the dumbbells section. I made that setup at my gym over 2 months ago and that bench is still there lol

Jared hitting 30kg on side delt cable crossovers for reps is WILD AF. Eric introduced me to these at 10kg and I was toast at 12 reps. Then 2 minutes rest and failed to complete 8 reps.
Erick Janicki has some pumpkin-looking delts full from the front to the back, crazy! Watching this makes me realize front delts are super important for the roundness as well, I think not trying direct front delt is super underrated. For some reason Mike and Jared always looks “not-interested” when someone is showing them exercises. When Erick visits them its totally different vibe.
That lateral raises was pretty cool idea! Like you said, since you're lying down on the bench, you are not standing, so you're conserving energy for other exercises. That cable curl also has the same idea, but in comparison to the lying dumbbell curl, I have one thing to say is that some people just can't stand lying down on something flat, so this incline approach will feel better for those people doing those stretch-focused bicep curls.

It's still mainly side delts. The front are secondary yes. Jared was almost exclusively sides. It's not going to be less or more effective. That's like saying cable fly is better for chest than benching.

Dr. Mike truly cannot do lateral raises without heaving his chest upward. Yet he wonders why he has a huge chest and relatively flat side delts compared to rest of his body.

Are you really getting overly fatigued from standing lateral rasies and curls
@@Juneth-ou7re Hey, this concerns advanced bodybuilders. Even if it's like 2% decrease on axial fatigue, that matters to who wants the best.
