Can u explain how does this actually works? Let's say you reach failure with 8 reps of 45kg bench vs 16 reps of 25kg bench. Isn't it the same since u reach failure anyway? Would love to see your thoughts on that
@@yahyahassan3430 Lowering the weight is to focus more on form and time under tension, which is where the extra gains are supposed to come from. If you're doing the 8 reps of 45kg with perfect form and slow reps and you're reaching somewhere near failure then it works as well.
The lying down curls changed my life. I still gotta have a little incline, but it really made me rethink my biceps regiment completely after years of doing the regulars.
Absolutely amazing workout, Eric! And as always slow, deep eccentrics are my Church of Iron. Always love seeing collabs with you and Dr. Mike. Hello, First of all, I'm a huge fan of Eric Janicki. At the request of Korean bodybuilding fans, I translated and uploaded a video introducing your content. I translated it out of pure fandom, but if it causes any discomfort, please let me know, and I will take the video down. I will always support you!
@@robinsanden6653 If you watch Dr. Mike's video on Eric you will see him say that Eric has an unnatural ability to recover from chest exercises quicker, so this makes sense in a workout specifically tailored for him.
I'm on my 3rd week of the RP Gym Free program & its the first time I've done Myoreps & am really loving it (not in the moment!). The Myo reps let me still get a great pump while saving a lot of time.
What people overlook is how the foundation of their physique was built on years of “suboptimal” training: pushing heavy weight around and not really focusing on eccentric, concentric ratios or whatever techniques they performed in the video. You can train heavy like Ronnie Coleman, train like Mike Mentzer, or train like the RP guys. It doesn’t really matter. 90 percent is consistency, progressive overload, and diet. The 10 percent is training methodology.
Exactly! The things top guys do roughly the same, the things that matter, are drugs, diet, and recovery(of course all possess elite genetics). The precise training modality, rep execution etc. Is a miniscule piece of the puzzle, which is why it is comical guys get so passionate about supposedly perfect rep execution and form
Those lying bicep curls are no joke. I went for three years without my biceps getting sore, using all kinds of curls. Every time I do the lying curls, I'm sore for 2-3 days.

@DrMike I love your science training vids. I have been in the gym for 2 months now after 2 years of not being able to lift due to a severe back injury. I've recently purchased the Titan pro and it's incredible how much it fatigues your grip.
Learned the first exercise from brendan curry. Tricep ladder. Start low and go up 1-2 notches each time til you’re gassed. End of arm day it’s FANTASTIC.
