Sony a7R3. Crane 3 S 1.78 nothing works. No shutter. Can’t take photos. Can’t control IOS or nothing. Also I set USB in camera to PC + Camera mode. I have a smaller Sony joy sticks and it works great. Can you please help.

hello ! i have a question about 3s. i would like enter movement to record video. finaly i found inside gimball menu and not the software. there was only timelapse for pic and not videos. In the gimball i can only enter mouvement more than 30seconds, impossible to enter 20 seconds to from point A to B ? do u have any solution ? thanks
The manfroto gimbals are the same as Feiyutech. And I am not impressed with The quality of the gimbal as soon as I can get my hands on the DJI gimbals I will review them and compare them to some of the other gimbals that I have

I would love for you to help me, I have bought the crane 3s to use it with my canon c200, I stabilized it for the first time but when I turn it on the blue light turns red in pov and neither a motor works, it does not stabilize or anything, in the command appears update followed by an X , hopefully you can help me since I have filming from tomorrow with this equipment and it is not working for me.

Try to do the six side calibration. Download all the firmware form my link in the description. Try to downgrade and upgrade again. This method sometimes helps. Please make sure the Pan axis is correctly balanced.
So it still shakes after the update & this is why you don’t use it much, but instead of saying anything honest about how you feel about that u go towards talking about the Crane 2s ?
No it does not shake any more. My opinion of the Crane 3s, is that is to heavy. I don’t find it enjoyable to work with. I like it in the underslung mode with dual handle, but you will need a stand near by always. The crane 2S is in my opinion the perfect middle range gimbal.
it will shake for smaller set ups its meant for heavier payloads ive gotten thru it by adding a cage and like a wireless shutter on the shoe but it does still get weird with some angles in pov mode

Something is clearly wrong. The test gimbal I had first had firmware 1.76. Try to see id you can upgrade it through a computer. If not you will have to contact zhiyun

does anyone know how to get the 3s out of sleep mode? I was shooting a 3 thousand dollar wedding this past weekend and ended up having to shoot it 100% handheld... my anxiety was through the roof. I've only used the gimble 3x since ive had it and then it does this to me. How can it say upgrade and there is no clear instructions. Furthermore, I should not have to upgrade anything if it was working just fine

Hey man I updated my gimbal and had the smart handle attached while updating it and now its completly offline like not connecting or anything and also do you know if on the crame 3s you can tweak the motors to make it less jittery?
Thomas, i think i figured it out. Mine left sleep mode and working great now with the new update. STEP 1. Go to zhiyun website. Hover your mouse cursor over the download tab at the top. A drop down menu will pop up. Select firmware. 2. Scroll all the way down to the product images and select the box that says "more". 3. Scroll up a little bit. You will see two drop boxes with "find" to the right of the drop boxes. Click the drop down arrow in the first drop box and scroll down the list to select your gimbal type. Go to the second drop box and select "firmware". Then click find. 4. Download the 1.80 version that pops up, and save it on desktop or in document. You will need it. 5. Go back to the second drop box but this time choose "update tool" and click find. Download the update tool for either windows or IOS depending on your laptop. 6. Open the downloaded update tool and click browse. Now it's time to find the 1.80 version you saved. Click on it and it will open in the update tool window.. Connect the USB C to the front of your gimbal and the USB typeA part to your laptop. Turn on the gimbal. Then click "open" at the top of the window. 7. At the bottom of the update tool window, click on "update or upgrade". Once the update is done, the gimbal will power off. Give it time to power itself off. Then turn it back on. THAT'S IT... Problem solved.

So have you used the Crane 2s with the Blackmagic 6K? When you move forward and backward, there is no jerking, smoke, like "on the rails"?

Hi. First see if you can calibrate the gimbal. Then up or downgrade to another version.

Joe Buensuceso haven't tried that big of a camera on the crane 2s. But I would say it is too big.
