Blackmagic should take advantage of the Nikon and Red collaboration and give us a box style Ursa mini 8K and a box style cinema camera 6K just like the Komodo X and the Komodo. I think it would sell like crazy.
Just updated my 6k. The webcam function with the auto 709 CS is my favorite new feature. Now I can throw the Atem. Having more options to work with the stills would be a welcome feature in the future as the 6K makes a good still camera too.
If you tap on the battery icon it will switch between percentage and voltage left!! stills are still my biggest letdown, ive been talking about it on the forums forever
I think it will come soon because if you move out the stills from "Stills" folder and put them at the root of your drive or card on a computer and put it back in your cam, it displays them as normal shots...
Nicely presented video dude. I went down the Sony route in the end, but was very tempted by this one and nice to see it's still getting value added. Seldom do I see a Sony firmware update, usually it's a new camera 12 months later that drives down older models and results in 100s of pounds to update. Is what it is
Hey, brother, Sony is at the top of video cameras! They have improved considerably in video quality, and probably because their products are so good, they don’t need so many firmware updates. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch 🙏♥️🙏
One day, one day, I'll move into the Blackmagic club, hopefully not too far in the future! Did I mention your videos and style are an inspiration? ✅ Waiting on a massive storm here in Ireland!☘💪🏽👀👍🏽☘
For the 6k Pro and the 4k there is indeed a battery meter on the camera. If you tap the battery Icon on the camera you can see that it tells you the Voltage of the camera. A fully charged Blackmagic NPF battery will always start at 8.2v. It then will proceed to die at 6.6v. If you are at 7.8v or 7.4v then your in the middle ground of battery life. When you get to 7.0v or 6.8v then the battery Icon will be red. I recommend switching batteries at 6.6v, anything below that the camera will die in seconds. Keep in mind that cheaper NPF batteries will drain faster than others. The battery could start at 8.0V and then go to 7.0V in 25 minutes. This to me is a very useful measure to know how long I have left on the camera and Blackmagic NPF batteries do a good job of lasting the longest. For pocket 4k users, the LP6 batteries has a max of 7.4V and dies at 6.5V, hence why the 6k lasts alot longer than the 4k.
Camillo, thank you very much for sharing your thoughts 🙏. I was referring to a normal meter that tells you the %, but this is very useful to know. You know what I always say “never stop learning “ so thank you 🙏
With the new update, when you remove the battery for some time, it forgets some settings. Especially the sensor settings. You might put it to use full 6k sensor, but when you turn it on again later it has returned it to a lower sensor setting
Thanks for this! The battery thing is pretty dumb. Seriously. It suddenly turns red and then it's a guessing game of how low I can go on the limbo without changing the battery.
If you tap on the battery icon on the camera screen it will change to voltage yes, but it doesn’t show you how much it’s left! Unless they have updated it!!! (I haven’t touched my cameras in a couple of weeks)
Tip for anyone having trouble cause it wasn't working for any of the virtual meeting services, Zoom, Google hangouts etc... didn't have a problem with LOG vs Video/Ext. Video. For me I had to change the Framerate to at least 30fps
It would be even better if I can delete a clip without entering the explorer. Also I could not play the clip from the one... is it true? Tapping the white triangle does nothing.
Ruben is like the FINE DINING OF CAMERAS.
Thanks mate. Always enjoy your videos.
@@Fullth646 Thanks brother 🙏

A very good update, bro! Bravo @blackmagicdesign 👏. Thanks for watching, brother

I agree with you 💯%! Also like RED cameras. Good point, brother. Thanks for watching 🙏
I always like your show, welldone. Your voice is a special gift from God. You can be a very Good Voice Over actor/artist
Thank you for your kind words 🙏🙏🙏
I was hoping 100 fps and 50fps in full mode without crop
Haha, wishful thinking! Thanks for watching and sharing 🙏

If you tap the battery icon on the screen it will change to showing voltage left which will help with how much battery is left

@@topicruben I believe when it gets down to 6.3 volts then it’s done
awesome update, just wee need a battery percentage

Can you give a summary at the end of this kind of videos?
Do not update 8.6. Wait a new
Too late, lol. I did it the day after and it works perfectly on my 2 cameras
Why not
