That track into the National Park has been used alot over the past 2-3 years with little rain, there are a couple of really bad spots now which is like quick sand. The Grader really needs to come in and remove that powdery top soil. Harold Bight is the best spot to camp.
    Great vlog guys as always.

Great Vid guys. I understand your hesitation in dropping your tyres with the weight on the rear car axel and van axel. But, you sure are making a lot of hard work for your tow rig and your selves. To clarify I run around 60psi on the bitumen on both car and caravan (both rear axels on the 79 and the van single axel are around 2.8T). Normal soft sand pressures are: front 18, rear 22, van 22. Generally don’t have any issues anywhere. But on the odd occasion when it’s really soft I’ll drop to: front 15, rear 18, van 18. On one occasion going up “Big Sandy” on the way up to 5 Rocks I had to drop to: front 7, rear 10, van 10. Obviously I pumped them back up once we made it up, kept our speeds down low and made no sharp turns. Basically I know the gut feeling is to keep them pressures up a bit but you are doing yourself a disservice by doing so. Regardless, if in doubt - crack another one of those thousand beers and enjoy your day 😉👍😎

Great driving there Ant. You both did a great job. My heart was in my mouth a few times there🫢Those bloody flies looked like a pain in the ass though. Loved the drone footage of the turtle and the shark. What a beautiful country we live in. Thanks for another great video guys.

Another really great episode team, thanks. What a girl, Mave is worth gold. Have you got a car fridge in the back of the ute, can you do a run through for us soon or point me to the correct video. The BT50 seems to be doing OK, considering it is the second time around on some very challenging tracks. How ofter are you servicing it, what has broken and have you done anything with the suspension. The Dometic DR is doing great in the van how is the back of the ute faring - so many question, you have my apology.

Hi mate, will definitely do a run through soon as I’ve updated a few things on the car. We now run a single zone 65L Engel in the back of the ute. I also have a great quality Dunn & Watson fridge slide and 200Ah of Enerdrive lithium…. Will make a vid in a couple of weeks, but checkout the video in our list on the RSI SmartCap

Ant in 2022 we took our AOR Quantum to Bottle bay. We travelled in early morning both ways as the sand is cooler and a little firmer. No problems with tyres at 16-18 on car and camper. Car was a 2022 MUX so same motor and drive train as yours. Love Bottle bay just amazing sunsets and vista.

Brings back memories getting bogged a bit further up Francois Peron but we weren’t towing, but stayed at Big Lagoon in our Cub Camper but be warned I was skipping over little baby brown snakes I changed into shoes after that, but what an awesome place ❤️it…

Thanks Peter! Barry loves the hard stuff! Still going strong and hasn’t missed a beat. That road was a bit of a tough one though
